2020 VIDEO GAME CATCH-ALL THREAD

I might have to go back and revisit Detroit. Something about it just left me a bit unengaged when I first played it and so I abandoned ship early on -

I was thinking the same. If/when Vince is ready to walk away he'll be selling to the highest bidder -
It almost like your begging George Lucas to go back and do some more tinkering with the films

It's funny watching Severn in the ring as I always got the sense he was constantly reigning his amateur instincts in and as a result his matches could seem quite jerky and never flowed. I thought Angle was going to suffer the same when he debuted tbh -
I wanted to see this at the cinema after seeing the trailer but it never showed up ?

I will defend the Chamber ofHorrors til my dying day. Okay, it was a goofy clusterfuck, but it was also one of the coolest ideas and visuals in wrestling as a young kid watching -

Remember when we thought Braun was so over he was ‘above’ the mid-card titles and it should be one of the main belts or nothing? And now it’s like ‘? meh’

Pretty much. He came in when Ole had the book as they were always tight, not sure if he wanted to tail off his AJPW run as Baba was grooming Gordy to take over Hansen's spot. Then Dusty got the book and they wanted to pair him with the western version of the three stooges for all intents and purposes, and he decided AJPW was as good as it gets. Then Gordy messed up and Hansen continued his run as the main gaijin -
I'll second this, I bought it July last year and have pretty much played the Universe feature every day since then. Plus as it's the 'older' game pretty much every CAW and arena you can think of has been made. I'm currently running a bespoke fed (IWA) which as its main storylines has the Four Horsemen v Goldberg, Steamboat not being able to beat Stunning Steve for the TV title in the required time limit, and a Blackjack Mulligan v Terry Funk US title feud that's getting more and more violent. Regarding the submission system I had to keep the game on easy mode to deal with it ?

Downloaded Kentucky Route Zero on PS4. Excited to dive in this weekend but was thinking of pacing the episodes in honour of the folk who played it originally on PC haha -
This is great. I then immediately thought of a modern director's cut of Mankind taking a dive off HIAC and sadly laughed to myself

Only on the internet would an ancient Lovecraftian Sith never mentioned before with a penchant for Highlander-esque machinations be seen as a preferable option to the return OF THE VILLAIN OF THE WHOLE SAGA The R2 memory bit at the end was a nice touch though -
This blows my mind... but then again I can't see Only Fools and Horses, Open All Hours or Frost translating very well for US audiences ?

I think we usually got a scene of him at the beginning and end of a season? Might be misremembering as I only watch them when they're released. I hope this season finishes the turn into Saul and then the final season follows him as Gene in the aftermath of Breaking Bad, the tiny flashforwards aren't enough or me.

The irony of HBO deciding not to do a second season of Watchmen without the show's creator is pretty fucking hilarious
