What is motivation to be 24/7 champ, if I may ask? The perk seems to be having the lower card guys stalk you online and in person. I'm probably putting too much thought into it, I should really just relax.

I miss Crash Holly. The crazy defenses he had and what DDT has done with their hardcore title, hopefully the wrestlers get to be creative on social media with it.

JR in theory is a familiar voice for fans new to AEW's roster. That does go a long way with casual fans, at least from my experiences in attempting to convert WWE fans to indy wrestling. He needs to learn himself though. I'll say this, Cornette does a good job in MLW of crafting a story on commentary. JR can help people jump right in if he can channel good ol' JR. But again, for I think my third and last time, screw Hebner. Subtraction via addition.

I know Bryce and Knox because despite the antics they get up to in PWG and GCW they know when to get out of the way. Hebner is a caricature of himself at this point. Turner is fine. I am not familiar with Edwards. I can't wait to have to watch Hebner overacting to Omega's and Co drawn out finishes.

Word going around is Earl Hebner signed with AEW and is going to be reffing matches. I HATE Hebner's reffing. His slow 3rd count is awful. He always pulls the spotlight onto himself. I was fine with the referees they had already announced. It's not a dealbreaker by any stretch but I actively despise his mannerisms. He's a attention whore at best.

I watched the first Battle Riot and thought it blew. But I wanted to give them a second shot when Cornette started doing commentary. Their big shows seem to disappoint but the weekly show is solid.

With NXT at the time being flooded with indie guys it would have stood out and been easy heel heat. Now he's another main roster guy. Without contrast no one stands out.

What's the record for most entrants in a battle royal? I mean single ring, no World War 3 variants.

I'm disappointed we didn't get the usual 'we're in England' bit where someone pulls out a cricket bat. I'd take Corbin more seriously if he dressed like a wrestler. I miss "go back to ROH" Corbin.

Can't wait for Blood Money 4: The Quickening with nWo vs DX and Undertaker vs Sting. What I really want is Joey Janela to book one of these.

I think most people can really only sit through an hour before starting to lose focus. Two hours with good pacing maybe. With smartphones and all the options available it's easy to shift your attention to anything else once you start to lose focus.

Got back from 127. It was overall a fun show. Only thing I didn't like was the finish of Briggs-Jaroude. Not sure what Jaroude's character is. MVP is Eddie Kingston. His trash talk vs Curt Stallion and during JD Drake-Gacy was great. Also liked a lot of the new faces. Stephen Wolf, Anthony Greene and Juntai all seem like solid additions. MOTN was probably Ohno/Bravado-Fox/Ruff. Also it was cool to meet Joe Gacy briefly. Bought a shirt from him and Stephen Wolf, they were both cool dudes. On a night people were lined up a mile long to see Adam Cole I wanted to support the other guys on the card.

Totally didn't realize ROH was even coming to Michigan until this week. I wish they would quit doing them in Grand Rapids.

Anyone else get the WWE Fan Club surveys? I try to be honest in them which is probably why I rarely get them. It seems every major story from the company these days is something negative. I've enjoyed Impact and MLW lately and MITB hasn't meant much the last two years.

I have never cared about backstage politics when the on screen matches/stories/feuds were entertaining. When you have things like the original build up to Wrestlemania 30 people lose interest. When there's no good storytelling being done and I can no longer be immersed I question why. Though I should probably look in the mirror as a wrestling fan. WWE has a team like The Revival I just want to see wrestle, like they did in NXT. But instead their trying to wipe IcyHot off their junk. Why the hell is that?

They should just give everyone a trophy if this is going to be a issue. WWE just seems to hate any success they can't take credit for. It's all rumor and speculation but time and time again we've seen this is how the company thinks and behaves.

I'm super late to the party on this one but I watched Kiyomiya-Sugiura the other day. I haven't been keeping up with anything outside NJPW, any other Kiyomiya matches worth checking out?
