  1. Alex Shelly coming back to feud with Chris Sabin would make sense from a logical standpoint. But this is TNA, so we know there's no logic involved. Assuming it is Low Ki/Senshi, who is he exactly coming after for revenge? Also why the hell haven't they been putting these videos into the shows for the last month just so when this does happen there might be some interest... Oh yeah. TNA.
  2. '98 - they cut from mid-ring with Tommy to the announce position with Joey. It's almost like watching a wrestling show with alternate commentary with how it comes off. Is this the ECW episode where they were mocking CNN or something with the "BREAKING NEWS" graphics? I didn't have the internet back then so seeing Sandman gone was a shock.
  3. It's Bob Holly....AND HELL IS COMING WITH HIM
  4. When it comes to MSG, The big problem is the new Penn Station which is supposed to be built across the street on the main post office's site is that the funding for it is stuck in limbo. They have everything for the new station designed. They just can't get the funding for it. If for some reason MSG is relocated (I can't see that happening. No Mayor wants to be the one that caused MSG to be demolished), one possible location for what would be MSG V (The fifth MSG building) 10th Avenue and 34th Street. But like I said, I just can't see MSG being torn down. If the new Penn Station funding gets moving, MSG will be safe.
  5. I saw this news bit and got a good laugh. If they get her back, I guess we know there will be a seaon 2 of Total Divas.
  6. Guessing it's an international tour which won't be taping RAW. They're going to Australia. There were other spoilers that talked about a backstage segment where Vince was with Maddox before the Cena/Ryback match and Vince says he wants a superstar like Triple H in the main event of Summerslam. I'm going to find it very funny if they made Ryback look like a puss the last couple of weeks only for him to be the new chosen one for Vince.
  7. Entirely possible, yeah. He's been working in Puerto Rico for awhile and this show had a shit-ton of PR dudes. Re the Sandman photo, it's more than a little depressing to see that he's 50 now. I find it amazing that he made it to 50. Sandman's gonna live forever.
  8. Tazz was built like a brick shithouse, looked like an evil motherfucker, and was strong as shit. He was short, sure... but definitely looked like a beast. Yeah, Tazz could hit a guy with a clothesline that looked a lot like a Rick Steiner Steinerline. He just would load up and WHAM.
  9. Nope. He just was there. I'm willing to bet some producer was walking around the halls and said "YOU...YEAH, YOU COME HERE". It was either that or they drew his name out of a hat.
  10. I was waiting for Maddox to turn to him and say "who the hell are you and how did you get in here". Riley was at his best as The Miz's flunky, so maybe they are gonna have him as Maddox's personal yes man. Thinking about it just now he's been in WWE limbo for about 2 and a half years. How the hell did he last so long? Maddox is such a swarmy little asshole. He really is the son Eric Bischoff should of had. I loved him screwing Bryan around at the start of the show. The Daniel Bryan main event was pretty awesome. Swagger looked like he didn't give a shit as usual, but wow did Antonio ever make up for that. The European Uppercut bit was amazing to watch. Cesaro could be huge for them if they just roll with him. Bryan/Ryback was a fun match in it's own right. But wow has Ryback really become a joke. Now he's saddled with The Bully gimmick. Watching him bully Josh Matthews. I was thinking to myself "Lance Russel wouldn't take that kind of shit". They really need to stop having the male announcers as wimps. Mean Gene didn't take anyone's shit. What is the purpose of SuperCena vs. Ryback in a tables match when they just had one barely a month ago? I really hope we see Bryan put Cena through a table (assuming Kane and the Wyatt's dont sacrafice him earlier in the night next week). Oh yeah, what a train wreck the Diva's segment with The Miz was. Eva Maria looked horrible in the Jessica Rabbit colored hair. I did like though how The Bella's were like "OH NO SHE DIDN'T" when she slapped Lawler since being a bitch is their gimmick. The show could be interesting, but it just depends on how much is "scripted" and is "reality". If the WWE is scripting this, it could be fairly decent train wreck television.
  11. Bully Ray doing a Midnight Rider and or Charlie Brown From Outta Town impersonation would be the best thing ever. But, champion vs. champion just means the two champions are wrestling each other. Unless different spoilers say otherwise, it doesn't say its Title vs. Title.
  12. Who would have ever guessed the subplot to Robocop would actually come true.
  13. Well if the story about The McMahonomania power stuggle is supposed to run from now till Wrestlemania 30, it makes sense Vince would want someone to take on Triple H. They would have to back up a dump truck full of money to get Austin to wrestle Triple H in something so lame though. Austin himself said if he was to come back, it would be a two to four month program so he wouldn't just come back for something dumb.
  14. A couple of years ago you could argue Anderson was a big star for them and probably would have sold decent merchandise. But now? HA. Anderson himself is just going through the motions. I like Mr. Anderson, but is he worth the money they are allegedly paying him right this moment? Absolutley not. The should restructure the albatross contracts first before getting rid of people who if used correctly (which is a whole different problem in of it self) could make them money. I wonder, is Hemme still getting paid that $150k for being a ring announcer? That would be a good place to start.
  15. The problem with anyone taking over creative is, it doesn't matter what they come up with. If it doesn't some how revolve around Hulk Hogan or the people TNA want to push opposed to the people who are actually over...what ever they come up with will not work. TNA really needs to shift money into marketing and promotion. The biggest problem is no one outside their core audience knows they are even on. Get some commercials on during the Bar Rescue marathon's on Sundays or something. Spike is a Viacom channel and I have been saying this for years. There is no reason they can't get a commercial on another Viacom channel to try and expand that audience.
  16. Thank God they're freeing up money to keep Brooke Hogan around.
  17. They have a section up for July called "California Dreaming" featuring matches that took place in California. There's a Ric Flair/Terry Funk Texas Death Match from Superbrawl 2000 in San Francisco that I never saw or even remember hearing about happening. For a few minutes it sounded like Tony Schivaone actually cared about what he was calling. Dustin Rhodes was with Terry Funk, but didn't do anything in the match. They cut the video off as he got back into the ring so I assume that's when he turned on him. It was a fun old man match especially with Funk piledriving Flair on the floor.
  18. They still haven't put that Triple H/Flair cage match from Taboo Tuesday on dvd, have they? That one should be on this set.
  19. Wow, that whole Punk/Heyman segment was something else. And then BRAWK LESNAR: THE DOOMBRINGER comes out and we get one of the best fights in years. Punk put up a valiant fight, but my God...Brock just murdered him. That F5 on the announcer table was damn near a shoot brain buster. But you have to hand it to Punk. He was like "I know he's here. Come on out Brock" I'm super stoaked for that Summerslam match. It would be awesome if Punk came out with Rener Gracie and the rest of the Gracie camp (this would include BJJ Blackbelt Ed O'Neil in full garb). Who wouldn't love to see Al Bundy take an F5? Okay, that would never happen but man Brock/Punk is gonna be awesome. Also awesome was RVD vs. Jericho. Man, just imagine if they saved that match for Summerslam and put some build into it. RVD pulling out that summersault out of no where from the top rope was insane. Mark Henry standing tall against The Shield. The triple power bomb was nasty though...looked like he landed right on his elbow. He's gonna come back and take them all out himself cause THAT'S WHAT HE DOES. The Wyatt Family was awesome. That promo with Bray working through the WHAT'S. The MADD OX era shall be glorious.
  20. It's fresher, but Randy Orton is so bland right now. Unless he goes back to being a full blown sociopath its' going to be a few months of Michael Cole yelling THE VIPER IS LAYING IN WAIT TO STRIKE AND CASH IN.
  21. It finally sunk in that they are really going to run with Cena vs. Orton. God that crowd tonight here in Brooklyn is going to be down right nuclear in their hatred towards that.
  22. I wonder if Orton winning was some sort of contractual perk for doing 12 Rounds 2. Do a movie...have a title run. Man, I'm looking forward to Smackdown (well lets be honest it will be on RAW) when Sandow says he pushed Cody off the ladder for his own good. Sandow/Cody could be an awesome feud if they let them roll with it.
  23. The Smackdown MITB is such a toss up though. I would love to see Cesaro win and cash in on Ziggler if that happened.
  24. Of course they should have left him as he was. But in the WWE, when someone is cheered they automatically assume he has to be made into a pandering good guy.
  25. I honestly thought he would be convicted on Manslaughter. While the case was weak to begin with, I figured at the most with an all women jury they would feel sorry and disreguard the law and convict on Manslaughter. Everyone saying he's gotten away with murder, he hasn't gotten away with anything. From a personal standpoint he has to live with this for the rest of his life. From a legal standpoint he's going to get sued by the family and you damn well know the DOJ will level Federal civil right's charges against him. This same exact sort of thing has happened so many times here in NYC. First with the guy who killed the kid that caused the Crown Heights riots, then a few years later after a cop got off from killing someone. Didn't the cops in the Rodney King case get ultimatley convicted of Federal Civil Rights charges? This is just the first part of a long, long, long legal mess for him.
