  1. Ahead of Impact 1000, Impact has listed their top 10 matches in IMPACT history: 10. EC3 vs. Rockstar Spud (Hair vs. Hair match, 3/13/15) 9. Gail Kim vs. Taryn Terrell (Ladder Match, 7/11/13) 8. Kurt Angle vs. AJ Styles (10/15/09) 7. Samoa Joe vs. Christopher Daniels (4/13/06) 6. Broken Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy (The Final Deletion, 7/5/16) 5. Kurt Angle vs. AJ Styles (1/4/10) 4. Awesome Kong vs. Gail Kim (1/10/08) 3. Team 3D vs. The Hardyz vs. The Wolves (Full Metal Mayhem, 10/8/14) 2. Josh Alexander vs. Speedball Mike Bailey (12/8/22) 1. Beer Money vs. The Motor City Machine Guns (2/3 Falls Match, 8/12/10)
  2. I was excited seeing Tormenta vs Chella was up first, coming off Tormenta's classic with Florez. Rough finish but a fun match, definitely surprised to see Chella pick up the win but she's great. I love the Brat Pack, awesome trio of heels. Disappointing to not get the scheduled trios match but curious to see what the follow up to that would be. Mother Truckers/Bandidas was solid with a nice post-match angle. Main event was awesome, may have been the longest match of the season. Excellent near falls down the stretch. Too bad Kandi Krush or no other faces were around to prevent the interference. Popped for the surprise Beast return, wasn't expecting that right then but she looked great. And that was the season finale. Farewell to AJ Mendez, she will be missed. Looking forward to the new season beginning next week. The Beast coming back for the gold will be fun to watch, I loved her initial run up to the title when she beat Tessa for it.
  3. Great start with Orange in to Moxley's first defense. Loved the bit of Orange staring back at Moxley in the ring, then walking up the ramp and facing off with AR Fox, who had turned on him previously. Fox was on fire there before Moxley put him away. EMI looked incredible, put the title on her. Definitely made the most of her 5 minutes. Would've popped huge if it happened, loved the tiger driver straight away, the cross body into the steps, and the delayed underhook backbreaker all looked excellent. Saraya's been trolling Emi over Queen on Twitter, would like to see them in a future match too. Interesting 4 way next week could go multiple ways for Saraya's first challenge at Grand Slam. Crazy to think back that was one year ago when Saraya debuted at Grand Slam, one of my absolute favorite crowd pops. MJF/Joe segment was on fire, amazing work from both in setting up a future showdown. Loving Joe in the main event mix. Glad there's multiple possibilities in the tournament with MJF/Joe and MJF/Strong both matches that need to happen at some point. Great return to the ring for Strong, the apron backbreaker was killer. Another awesome promo from Swerve/Hangman. Excellent stuff set up for the future on this episode. Fun main event with Darby and Nick.
  4. they're doing n64 No Mercy halfway entrances in this New Era. The Pretty Era according to Pretty Empowered, nice promo from them. I like Taylor Rising, good potential & looked great in her recent appearances so I hope she continues on here. Looking forward to NWA's take on a Halloween Havoc style PPV
  5. He was arrested on domestic violence charges a couple months ago and was terminated from AEW as a result.
  6. Catching up on all threads, another amazing show for sure. Joe/Taylor was short but glad for Taylor to get the spot on PPV anyway. Great set up for Joe/MJF Hobbs/Miro was awesome but man I really wanted the epic post-match Predator handshake to lead to them teaming up/Hobbs face turn rather than another beatdown. Great to hear Ruby out to her Ruby Soho theme again, wish she would've finally won. I figure Toni would be mad at Saraya more than Ruby but the whole Outcasts implode feels kind of abrupt. Danielson/Starks was amazing and probably my favorite match of the night. Brutal, bloody, and a memorable finish. Excellent stuff. BCC/ShibataKingston ruled with a surprise sudden finish. Takeshita/Omega was great and I was shocked that Takeshita went over again. Another great 8 man tag. Main event was an absolute epic. Sad to see the end of the incredible Orange reign but it was a fitting one at least. Loved it.
  7. When asked about "his friend Adam Copeland" potentially joining him in AEW at the media scrum: "I only talk about myself, and Luchasaurus, and I have no friends other than Luchasaurus. I'll leave it at that" - Christian Cage
  8. He unfortunately didn't wrestle then, just managed the Bucks for a squash that night and then they turned on him while the Hardyz made the save. His first appearance was actually back in 2020 during the Matt/Guevara Elite Deletion match. Then in 2021, he was supposed to come in for something with Christian but got canceled after Edge did his "Brood Edge" deal that same week. Definitely want a full Brood reunion in 2023!
  9. After Billie beat Robyn Renegade last month, she got jumped by the Renegade Twins until Athena made the save. Athena teased taking out Billie too but showed her mercy and left. The next week, after Athena won a match, the Renegade Twins attacked until Billie made the save. Athena shoved Billie away saying she didn't need her while Billie just wants to be friends. Later that night, Billie defeats Charlette Renegade and again gets jumped after until Athena makes the save. They work together to take out the Renegades. After, Billie offers a handshake, Athena doesn't take it but calls Billie her "minion" and tells her to come with her so they leave together. Later on, Athena refers to Billie as her loyal follower and minion while Billie is focused on wanting them to wrestle the Renegades. The following week, they team up to defeat the Renegades with Athena telling Billie to just do what she says so there's dissension when Billie tags herself in to get the finish. Afterwards Athena tries to make Billie "prove herself" by stomping one of the twins on the title like Athena would, but they escaped. Billie was injured here so she was not medically cleared for All Out and ended up managing Athena's team there instead.

  11. I've gone back to some of the 2017 threads and cracked up at some of the reactions to what was going on then with Bruce Prichard coming in to reboot, Alberto el Patron, the one off Dutch Mantell appearance, etc. 2018 was a peak year when Callis & D'Amore took over.
  12. Pretty good show. Knockouts battle royal flew by. Digging the new look/presentation of Crazzy Steve with new theme and his turn towards more emphasis on the Crazy seems like it will be intriguing. the Bully/PCO saga remained hilarious. "Bulllllyyyyy!" and then Bully trying to appeal to "Carl" rather than PCO. Sabin/Wentz was real solid. Seems like Deonna might be turning back heel already, sad they're gonna kill the "Jordynne could never beat Deonna" narrative with another match. Victory Road coming together quickly and nicely with some great looking matchups overall. Trios main event seemed a little random on paper but very enjoyable. Eddie suplexing Kazarian over the ropes reminded me of the classic Eddie/Davey minus the Superplex. Jake Something looked awesome here and like he belongs as a top guy, great touch with him getting the winning pinfall in the main event.
  13. Squash night this week in ROH, at just under an hour. But I'll always pop for an Emi Sakura appearance and more Marina Shafir. No Athena greatness this week on her birthday today. ZSJ/Metallik was solid, nice finish.
  14. Steamboat came out of retirement late last year for a trios match with FTR against Brock Anderson, Jay Lethal, & Nick Aldis. I thought last week on Collision that Starks still carrying around the strap he used on Steamboat definitely felt like a build to that as a match. I don't know if I see it actually happening, but I definitely hope so now! Very promo heavy show tonight but I enjoyed it and everything that got set up for the future. Matches were all solid. Main event was fun. Laughed at the Dueling Canadian Destroyers match. The last Fear Factor actually had me worried for Orange's reign. Thought Orange ending promo was pretty excellent and look forward to him vs Moxley. I hope Orange retains again but it's certainly up in the air against Moxley. Strong continues to be hilarious. "AAAAAAADAAAAAAAMMMM". Looking forward to the first Better Than You Bay Bay ROH tag defense at All Out. Cool that Shane Taylor/Samoa Joe gets a big stage like that
  15. Excellent road report! Tonight's Powerrr will just be a recap of NWA 75 night 1. They'll be showing 3 of the matches: Max the Impaler vs Kenzie Paige Zyon vs. Jordan Clearwater Matt Cardona vs. Ricky Morton https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YpfvFO-SpqE the link could not be embedded because etc
  16. Sad to hear if Wrecking Ball requested her release, I assumed her past issues had blown over since Leia Makoa hasn't been around lately. Though I hope Leia comes back, miss seeing her on. This week was trios/tag week. Feels like we hadn't seen Exile/Ice Cold in awhile, glad to see them back, getting a win, and even getting promo time this week. Stephy/Jennifer/Keta is a great babyface trio. Kandi and Foxxy is a cool team. Kandi is always one of my favs. Her finishing KO punch here looked killer. Disciplinarian has the best facial expressions. Fury having to choose other partners felt random, Holidead & Siren seemed to at least make sense, and then them turning on Fury was even more random. Great that Americana finally got her full entrance again with her awesome theme. Crystal and Sandy looked good here as well. Main event was awesome and felt like a perfect long running feud blow off. Miami Sweet Heat crack me up, always entertaining with their promos. Great wild brawl. The Tongas taking 3 tries to throw Laurie out of the ring and then Lindsey taking an epic bump off the faceplant into the chairs ruled. Excellent heels and the Tongas their perfect foils. Love this coming back around from the original tag title tournament final, good stuff!
  17. Always liked the Desperado knockoff used for the Funks in the Legends of Wrestling video game series "Night after night, he's a legend standing tall He's our hero, he's the best. You know he gave his all"
  18. Loved Bush's Machinehead becoming the ALL IN theme. Glad we at least got a segment for Jarrett and co + Paul Wight and that Grado got to do something after all. It's WEMBLEY you know what that means! DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE~! YES! Can't wait to see MJF & Cole in ROH! Jack using the rolling thunder on the limo ruled. Laughed out loud at the REAL GLASS shoutout, awesome. Loved Hook countering the corner low blow attempt. Really good match that felt longer than it was, they packed a lot in. Perfectly brutal for this feud. Nice Sweet Tooth reference by Nigel during Joe's entrance. This ruled. Joe's walk away from Punk's dive looked great. Loved Punk doing the Cena sequence, turning it in to a Hogan leg drop only for Joe to then HULK UP! Plus a spinning toe hold! Always pop for the PEPSI PLUNGE! Perfect finish. Trios match was great. Kenny especially seemed to have excellent exchanges with all 3 of the opponents. Loved Takeshita's jumping knee counter to the Kamigoye. Shocked with Kenny taking the fall on the finish, didn't see that coming. Crowd seemed to go to a shocked hush there. FTR/Bucks was epic. Loved the callbacks with the Cash springboard 450. Great finish. FTR now the greatest team of all time! Thought it was interesting they went from Punk to Elite to Bucks all in a row and it really showed how stacked this show was. Stadium Stampede was a blast. Some amusing bits with "It's Suuuuuue!" and I laughed at the random transformation with music to Penta OSCURO! Absolutely loved the finish with the glass Orange Punch, Van Damme Kickboxer style. Sweet Saraya Knight appearance! Awesome. Did not expect Saraya to win at all but thought it was an awesome moment even if the execution of the finish was a little weird. Not quite sure if the Outcasts just completely imploded here for good or what but love the moment for Saraya, very cool. I've missed her solo theme even though I dig the Outcast theme too. Expected Shida to retain but glad she got the brief run in anyway. Hearing We Will Rock You REALLY made me wish Emi could've appeared, even just to come out somewhere. Marked out huge for Seek and Destroy! That was epic and unexpected. Sting was on fire, coffin match ruled. Loved the brief TNA chant breaking out when Sting & Christian face off, 16 years later. Enjoyed the finishing stretch of struggling over shutting the casket, good stuff. Really liked Ospreay/Jericho, thought they delivered very well for the most part. Great to see the Acclaimed and BADASS triumph so now we can keep Billy from retiring. Main event felt like the most hyped I've been for a match in awhile and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I could not believe it but it went for me about as close to perfect as it possibly could. I was dreading an eventual turn all the way through the post match but they actually kept it like I hoped for. I definitely thought they were going with Cole winning after not seeing Strong knock out MJF at first. Popped for the original draw finish too coming off the Double Clothesline! Amazing work, all time show lived up to the hype. Looking forward to All Out, Grand Slam, and now WRESTLEDREAM!
  19. Digging all the additions to the card. Markova vs Taylor Rising on the preshow was an awesome follow up for Markova after last night and Taylor looked really good too, definitely would like to see more. Latimer/Adonis was a solid main show opener. I always love the Pretty Empowered/M95 matchups, the finish here felt super abrupt like Madi gets the hot tag and then it was over, but cool win for Ella & Kylie. Jack Cartwheel was impressive, reminds me of Action Andretti. Went in figuring he had no chance, but by the end I was wanting him to win it. Nice to see Ruthie Jay get another chance to shine a little bit, she's good. I assumed Kerry Morton vs Cardona was gonna mean Kerry was suddenly going back face after last night, but somehow the opposite happened and Cardona was the face here. Big win for Kerry. Dug the tag titles match. Thought Murdoch was gonna take it with the diving bulldog, especially when they talked about Murdoch always winning at the Anniversary show. Joe Galli's outrage at the result was great. KENZIE PAIGE! I couldn't believe it, the epic reign is over, but what a match again from both. Incredible moment and felt like the right time/person to finally end the Kamille reign. Kamille's run was legendary and she was a consistent showstealer. Thrilled for Kenzie to be the one. The closing shot with all 3 of Pretty Empowered now with the titles was awesome. EC3 looking more like his old self. I was digging his recent theme but cool that he was using an instrumental remix of his old TNA music. Surprised to see Tyrus tap out to end it. We will miss you TYRUS! May the EC3 Era begin. Full results NWA 75 Night 2
  20. Hendry & Yuya are hilarious together, love the new tag team entrance, that rules. Young/Deaner was a good opener, fitting blowoff to their feud. Young's double DVD deal looked like a rough landing for Deaner going into the board. 4 way tag was a lot of fun, glad MK Ultra continue as champs. Legit thought Swinger was about to become a champion after Heath interfered. Short title run for Subculture, cool win for the Rascalz even though I'm missing Trey's singles run. Thought Sanada/Something was very good. Jake looked great getting in a lot and hanging in there with Sanada. 8 man tag was absolutely wild. Welcome back Steve Maclin! and soon Jordynne Grace as well Good main event even if I'm sad to see Deonna tap out again. Now we're getting Ospreay, nice! Full results Emergence:

  22. An enjoyable night 1 for sure! I love Kenzie Paige so I was sad to see her lose the TV title already, she ended up pretty great in the suddenly underdog babyface role here getting mostly destroyed. But then for this to come back around later with Kenzie winning the Burke after entering #1 was awesome! Started her night on a bad note, ended feeling starmaking. This was the best. The Burke overall was a pretty good gauntlet. Allysin and Ruthie looked good. I was wondering where Labrava Escobar had been then was cool to see she popped up here but then was gone in seconds. Violent J rules with the Funstruction, great fit. Homicide/Alonzo was pretty fun becoming no DQ and Homicide had some nice Funk tributes. I had a feeling Kerry Morton was losing the Junior title, he's turned into a surprisingly effective heel. I had high hopes for Jax/Tim Storm and was excited to see Tim back in the NWA ring, so it was heartbreaking to see the abrupt ending. Tim's remained active elsewhere so just terrible timing to get hurt on the big one for him. Blunt Force Trauma theme sounds like Lex Luger's old 80s Overdrive theme. I dig them as a team, so it's cool to see them win the titles and sets up a Crockett Cup final rematch with Knox & Murdoch tomorrow. Kamille is a highlight of every PPV and her last match with Markova was awesome so I was looking forward to the rematch. And it was AWESOME. Holy shit what a brawl. They killed each other with weapons early on and then the amazing finish looked absolutely perfect. Loved this big time. Did not expect to now be looking forward to Kamille vs Kenzie Paige after the way this show started, but definite high hopes for that now! Full results NWA 75 Night 1
  23. I'm glad Blanchfield/Taila played out as it did with both having a round to shine before Blanchfield took it over. Good to see Taila back after a year+, hope she bounces back to go on another win streak and good to see Erin continue to kill it. Also love to see Lionheart pull out another win, always a favorite to watch. Some wild knockouts throughout this show. Sad to see the Korean Zombie go, but what a finale. One of the all time great MMA entrances/themes and today's especially was epic.
