    I'm not sure where I'm at with Peacock, so it's too early for me to comment on their service. But have you checked out the new Roku channel with "live" TV? It's got a lot of the same stuff you get elsewhere, but the guide is better to surf, IMO.

    Don't know how I missed the announcement, but I just read that Battlefield Earth (2000) is getting a blu-ray release from Mill Creek coming out in September. The theatrical cut is rumored to be on the disc. One of my favorites. If you think of it in the pulpy context of 50's sci-fi, it's a hoot. (Even better with the Rifftrax treatment!) Can't wait for HD dutch angles.

    In the past few years my respect for these franchises as the horror icons they are has grown. I was never a big fan of F13 or the Freddy series, but Halloween always clicked for me. But I do own the NoES Blu-ray set and the 8 F13 film set out on Blu-ray. My plan was to pick up foreign versions of the ones not included in the F13 set. I guess the collector in me loves having the entire package in a neat little set on my shelf. Horror movies are like Pokemon for me. This F13 looks extremely nice. Hope it's still available in September for my birthday.

    Gullivarr is my visitor today. The DIY inside my bottle was for a golden coffin. Now I need to hit a golden nugget island.

    I've been playing this game since release day and I knew about the catalog feature in the app, but I guess I didn't have enough bells to worry about paying attention to what it actually did at that point in the game. So I just filed that away in my brain until today when I was browsing the app and realized I could order most items that I had received. So all this time I had been waiting for the last part of my wrestling ring, I could have just ordered the color I needed. I also bought the Galaga-ish arcade cabinet in Nook's today. It was 64,000 bells, but I was swimming in bells thanks to CJ. I've been working on a gameroom/disco in my upper room, so the cabinet fit nicely with the pinball tables.

    I got to 100 and did a few more turns, but this was the grindiest feeling tournament. AND...I accidentally sold CJ a new fish that I didn't take to the museum.

    I went to 4stars and assumed it was just my style of trailer-parking every item I get as a decoration somewhere. One of these days I'm going to start dedicating myself to the flowers, but I've yet to find a video/charticle that holds my interest long enough to learn the ropes. Had doctor appointments today, so I've yet to log in to the island, will be logging in as soon as the update is done.

    I think there was a neutral corner in Nook's when I checked. I'd already gone with 2 red and 2 blue for my ring or I would have bought that one. BTW, jolly painting was the real one I got from Redd.

    Redd is visiting today. He has the ancient statue (fake), dynamic painting (always real), and the twinkling painting (always real) in stock. If anyone wants to stop by I will leave my gate open for a spell as I have some tasks to take care of around town this morning. Enjoy!

    It amazes me that there is enough of a market to demand gaming screens that small. I can just barely tolerate playing on my 6 point whatever inch phone.

    There are a number of good Diy antenna plans for the cheapest of asses. Still use two I've made, one from old coat hangers and some deck wood I had and another from binder clips and a jewel case. Yep, I'm that guy.

    I would love to get that Bruce Lee Criterion set. Seem to recall most older sets had bad problems in production.

    I stopped because I seemed to be the only crew around when I went on. Liked doing races but randos like to rage too damn much for my blood. If you're up sometime maybe we can shoot some dots.

    That's a good feeling. I kept all my extra fossils in case anyone wanted to trade. But after finishing the fossil section of the museum I decided to trim it to 3 of each kind and sell anything over that. Gotta make room in my inventory for sticks.
