Between this the rumors that Gronk may not return. My best friend is freaking out right now.

The wife and I were big fans of the original series. After the first episode we both wished they'd left it alone, the second episode was much better. I'm hoping that they leave the politics in the first episode, because that's the thing that mostly dragged it down for me. ABC has this nasty habit of letting politics get in the way of their shows. Does anyone remember that episode of Last Man Standing where Eve wasn't sure who to vote for?

The Punisher logo. Punisher has always been my favorite comics character.

I've had SBJ and Misfit Red. I liked the Misfit Red a whole lot better, just for not having that nasty aftertaste that I always got from Killians or Sam Adams Irish Reds.

Oh man, one thing I seriously miss about living in NY is STBC. I never had the Thick Mint, but I loved the Chokolat, Chokolat Oranj, and Creme Brulee. I didn't care much for Sweet Baby Jesus. I think it's a porter thing, most of them seem to have this watery taste to them that I can't get past. The only ones I'm recalling liking offhand are Founders porter and Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald.

I got a case of Sam '76 for my brother-in-law and I to drink tomorrow. I couldn't wait two days and cracked one open last night. At first I thought it was just a mild regular beer, and nothing really special. But, after a few sips I found myself really appreciating just how good and how well-made it is, for being just a mild regular beer.

I was one proud papa yesterday. My kids' school does nine-week award ceremonies. Basically recognizing academic and personal achievments that kids accomplish every quarter. My kindergartener always gets a bunch of them for her progress in reading and math. Well, they each got a very special one yesterday. My 2nd grader got a "Most Improved" award for all the progress she's made socially. She's very shy and has terrible social anxiety. But, she has really blossomed a lot this year. When she started at the school in October, it was a struggle for her to get anything out without a lot of prompting. But, now she participates regulary in class discussions and always has a lot to say. My Kindergartener got her usual truckload, but also got what they call a "Character Award" (basically for being a good person) and was the only one in her grade to get it.

My best friend got me "Unbelievable" by Katy Tur, its her account of her time following Trump during the election. Once I started reading, I coudln't put it down. No matter what your political views are, it's an interesting read just to see what kind of crazy life she had to live for all those months. Living in and out of hotels and suitcases, preparing to do on-camera updates with only minutes notice, having to deal with Trump and his people directly.

The Diaper Genie is another godsend!

Since I moved to NM, the only Founders I can find is Backwoods Bastard. I had to shell out damn near an arm and a leg to get a bottle of CBS shipped to me. It looks like I'll be doing that again when KBS become available in 4 packs.

KBS is one of my all time favorites. A couple of years ago, a local craft beer market held a stout competition, Founders KBS vs. Weyerbacher Sunday Morning Stout, and KBS won in a landslide.

The school my girls go to has thing called "Talent Tuesday" basically a mini talent show during lunch period. My kindergartender decided she wanted to sing a song for Talent Tuesday. What song? Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away) by Motley Crue. Her principal now thinks she's the coolest kid in Kindergarten.

We've had a couple of high wind warnings, which always been to be on the days that we want to do yardwork. Which basically just means the temperature is in the sixties or seventies, but with some strong wind. We much prefer it to winter storm warnings, lake effect snow warnings, flash flood warnings, etc. The problem with being satellite employees is that we get harrassed about working extra hours, because of all the call outs in the office due to the weather.

2017-18 NFL PLAYOFFS: CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Brady is now listed as questionable for Sunday because of his thumb. My best friend ( a diehard Pats fan) suggests it's Fake News! -
I see both sides of this argument, but I lean toward the side that he's not nearly as bad as Johnny Fuckup. I won't even attempt to excuse the public intoxication arrest, he clearly should know better. It's still not nearly as bad as Manziel being involved in a street fight involving racial slurs being thrown around. But, whole crotch grabbing thing was clearly provoked by the Kansas team disrespecting him with the no handshake, and then the cheap shot on him after he'd thrown the ball.

So, what are the chances that Cleveland actually uses both of their first round picks? It seems like that fourth pick could be a nice bargaining chip for some sort of trade.

Then why aren't they called Jacksonville wings? -
That actually sums up his NFL career perfectly. Honestly, I'll be shocked if he doesn't get cut or traded during the offseason. Unless the powers that be ignore his rookie season that never was, and decide to see if the third time will be the charm. Now the Million Dollar Question is if Da Bears are going to be able to hold on to Vic Fangio. Ian Rapoport says he's staying, but I'm waiting to hear it from Pace or Nagy.

This is Mazikeen, aka Maze (the wife and I are big fans of the show Lucifer).

I hope the Rams aren't the new Cowboys. They have a damn fine season, and then sink back down into the depths of mediocrity.

Exactly what I was thinking. - Naito wins at the Dome. - Omega drops the IWGP U.S. strap sometime in the next couple of months. - Omega wins the New Japan Cup to get a title shot and wins the title from Naito. - Omega defends against Okada, letting their series continue, with a new twist now that Okada is chasing Omega.
-
They're probably more worried about Myles Garrett getting his wish and sacking Big Ben, than they are about securing home field.
-
No surprise there. They did the same thing during week 17 last season, where Cleveland almost scored win #2!

My six year old's powers of secrecy are legendary. Here's the hint she gave me for my Christmas gift (which I actually knew about, because I had to place the Amazon order). "It's from Chicago, it has to do with Football, and it's a chair!"
