  1. Roman looks fucking dapper in a suit. I also think I have the exact same blue with white collar shirt as him. Or at least its Wal-Mart sweatshop equivalent.
  2. Seriously. I remember getting some NWA stuff from the Kayfabe Memories board about 10 years ago and being happy it was sorta watchable. It's amazing that we ever had to watch wrestling in less than DVD quality.
  3. Here's the Hardcore Gamer Show - a podcast I'm on regularly (although I missed this last week's recording due to going on a vacation to see family). http://www.hardcoregamer.com/category/podcast/ The most recent episode is one of our best, or at least most entertaining.
  4. Even No Mercy makes it easier to create MMA fighters than this game does. Of course, FPR remains the best for that - modern-day Brock can be made perfectly thanks to Spike kind of future-proofing things.
  5. The main event was outstanding and the Big E win felt like a pretty big deal relative to the title's worth. The show as a whole dragged on way too much. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2013/11/raw-11-18-13.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/yn97nvle5wt6qk74h0h73rcr7nv9l5ck
  6. Here's the thing I'm not quite understanding - the video was made in 1992, and there is a disclaimer at the end that states neither the WWF nor Titan Sports endorse the game even though some of their wrestlers appear in the advertisment, but there's no mention of WCW. In '92 Hogan and Koko were still in the WWF, but was Honky? I know Orndorff surely couldn't have been. Well, they probably did that disclaimer due to the WGF naming.
  7. Enjoyed Usos-Wyatts - the Family would seem a bit stronger with Rowan on the outside and using Harper in-ring since he's the most impressive yet on the main roster. Wyatt as the mouthpiece is just fine for him right now. Axel and Ryback turning on Heyman to form...an alliance that is nowhere near even the tag titles now is a bit odd, but better for Ryback than just jobbing. REGAL SELLING MERCH ruled. And then Khali made it even better - smell Rock's cookies. Nattie-Tamina was fine - I liked a Main Event match actually being used to build to something on a major show. Team Black Guys vs. the Union Jacks wasn't quite as good as their first match since it wasn't as fresh. The arm wrestling bit was predictable and something I'm glad I could skip through. Bellas vs. Funkadactyles was odd since I think both teams are faces. It saddened me to see so many digital camera shots of a screen used for TV - looked terrible. Khali destroyed Hunico and Comacho for whatever reason. Team Honor vs. Rybaxel was fun until the Wyatts beat up the heels...I think they're heels. I guess that's a face turn, although it's better to just keep them as heels now and at least get a Raw match for the tag titles out of it
  8. Holy shit was this the most "just a show" edition of Impact in ages. The main event was really good and Gail's ass looked nice. That's about it. I wish Anderon-Bully was able to end both Ken's career and the Aces faction. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2013/11/tna-impact-11-14-13.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/29v871x2rxs3fgj4pckcwttvpamo2ts5
  9. Hennig is so awesome in this - and now I can make Axel's moveset as it should be. Love using, or being hit by, the launching Bull Hammer. I don't like the Recliner though - the move didn't exactly look great IRL, but his hands aren't even near a guy's head when you do THE CAMEL CLUTCH. They didn't even bother adding in Scott's belly to belly or that badass standing clothesline he had in HCTP that they took out for no goddamn reason that would have fit so many dudes over the years.
  10. It's sad that my first thought wasn't this but instead "Oh hey! Our board has a great Big Boot!" I'm so sorry. It might be great, but is it at the level of the Barbarian?
  11. Give them a break - it takes a long time to get places riding a lowrider bike around.
  12. lol @ Lebron & Wade in awe of the Road Warriors Those are some fantastic belts right there.
  13. Taker is Han Solo. Big Daddy V is Jaba the Hutt - the Galaxy's Largest Love Machine.
  14. Really fun show, although it had some dull parts. I enjoyed the Cena handicap match a on. The tag champs one...not so much. After last week's show that was crazy boring throughout much of it, this wrestling-centric one was a big improvement even if it didn't all click. Ryback's burial from Truth. And JBL. And jobbing to Truth. And burial by Heyman. Was amazing. Great stuff with the main event - the match was fine, but the post-match stuff was best of Raw material. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2013/11/raw-11-11-13.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/wz6xcn1rczqm2pfj6q370fex1reyngqj
  15. Loved Ariane being even more batshit crazy than usual, Vinny dancing, and all of the goofy bullshit with Cena's injury and NO ONE KNOWING ABOUT IT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE. Also this.
  16. Now I'm imagining Rowan going up to kids in a sheep mask in his younger days and getting lunch money.
  17. Wrestle Kingdom 1 and 2 on the PS2 are pretty easy to get into. I could never get into KoC, but I love Firepro. All Stars is basically the TNA Impact game with WWE guys and an NBA Jam mentality - they even kept in Hernandez's post-match posing - only now it's for everyone.
  18. Bieber is like "who are these old fuckers next to me?"
  19. This was a good night of wrestling and really easy to get through. Nothing too amazing though, but the divas tag was surprisingly decent after Cameron got hit with thepowerbomb.com - and Khali-Alberto overachieved. Harper-Bryan was quite good, but actually outshined by Ryback-Cena. That wound up being the best match on the show and easily Ryback's best one yet. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2013/11/wwe-sd-11-8-13.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/r1kwm9pcy705oywvg813eou89bcu6ufx
  20. Great stuff with Roode and Angle. Glad to see the Mafia over even if it was done in a really clunky manner. So so so sad to see the Aces go since it felt like they had somewhere to go with them ending and having Taz as the mouthpiece for Knux and Garett instead of WOOHOO SWERVE. The tourney was a complete clusterfuck with all the random brawls, and they didn't really do much to set up a time table for it until the very end of the show with Angle-Aries being announced for next week. I guess they'll have the finals at Turning Point. Sabin-Hardy was a video game match, but at least had a spectacular finish. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2013/11/tna-impact-11-7-13.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/vb7h3of2hdw32x1hw9m6vdi2sibouxkq
  21. Then, after Davey no-sells them mauling him, he'll team with them against Teddy Hart and his wrestling cats!
