Well, while we're baiting legendary wrestling badasses, is there anyone else who kinda bristles at all those Haku/Meng "tough guy" stories about bitings and eye-gougings? I mean, he's not scary because hes' a toughy guy; he's scary because he's a brick shithouse who fights like a child.

Bamboozled was kinda like Spike Lee doing a 21st century update of Ellison's Invisible Man. Didn't completely work, but I admired the ambition. Tommy Davidson really stood out to me.

I've actually never seen it, I just know it did horrible box office. I think I was one of about a dozen people who actually saw Bamboozled in the theater, though. I might be the only one who actually liked it.

I was gonna correct Niners Fan, then I realized he probably just excised Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull from his memory.

I haven't read an Ebert review that ridiculously sensitive since he gave The Hitcher (the original one mind you) zero stars based on some vague notion that the movie was morally reprehensible. Anyway, my love of The Last Boy Scout is well-documented here. As is my sorrow over Damon Wayans not becoming a bigger star off of it. Blankman, Celtic Pride, and Great White Hype really brutalized his career man, and when he couldn't draw numbers teaming with a white-hot Sandler in Bulletproof, that was it. Although Bulletproof actually is pretty good to be honest.

Speed Racer is worth it just for the broadcast team of Shaft and Patrick from "Coupling"...

Exactly. Russo knows damn well that an unannounced appearance from an NXT guy had no bearing on ratings, he just wants people to rant about him to create the illusion of relevance.

From what I watched I came away with two things: 1. Heel New Day is awesome. 2. Dean Ambrose is so over he gets "Holy shit" chants for a simple tope suicida and multiple "This is awesome" chants for a not-bad-but-nothing-extraordinary Raw match...

There's a difference between people who stand up for what's right and people who engage in self-congratulatory indignation and bigotry witchhunts. Look at the people misconstruing odessastep's quote as if it was pro-domestic violence as an example of the latter.

Well I think that's what most of us are hoping for, Pete. But Sheamus seems like the smart bet. They're gonna need another strong heel for when Cena is done with Rusev, and it looks like Sheamus is being fattened for the sacrifice right now.

Yeah, but I bet even she wouldn't have botched that "Cryptkeeper" joke about Kane as horribly as Seth did...

I kinda get the feeling Sheamus is winning KOTR so they can build him back up as Cena's next foreign menace to conquer post-Rusev...
