And here's the OMEGA reunion. Still get the giggles for Dean snuggling up to me as we all crashed at his house after getting back. About halfway through the podcast and the memories are flooding back. For all the talk about Dean being everyone's big brother, you could make a similar case that he was the mother hen... protective, loving and willing to throw down if necessary. RIPower.

I dunno... was anyone else taken out of the match as soon as the broken glass came into play? I mean they got me back after a few minutes, but following Cardona's documented issues with glass as a prop (still pulling broken shards out of his body months later) you'd think they might shy away from it.

Honestly, a wrestling show in San Juan with a sold out crowd emitting Godzilla-level heat is a perfect way to honor Dean when you think about it. Love the staging too... they went out of their way to make this feel different from a standard B-show PPV. What were they chanting for the babyface punches?

I'll never forgive the Cowboys for denying the world of a Dean Rasmussen playoff beard that would've rolled over into the following season if they won the Super Bowl. I have so many memories of Dean's friendship to share, including getting hopelessly, hilariously lost somewhere in the wilds of Ontario as we tried to drive home from Ottawa.
