  1. I honestly didn't expect tablet mode to replace my 10" tablet completely but it's spent most of the time just plugged in charging. The keys don't stick out that much so while you still notice them if your fingers brush against them, it's not annoying or bothersome. The keys actually are probably slightly lower than the sides of keyboard area so even in landscape mode I find my fingers more resting on top of the keys than pressing down on them. I had to order the Pro but the Plus version(same build, different processor) seems to be pretty common so I'd imagine places like BestBuy probably have a floor model if you want to get an idea for the feel.
  2. They should have had Roman crush Jordan next week THEN call out Cena on his performance. Reigns on commentary probably would have been a better choice.
  3. The Android tablet market is pretty sparse especially when you get over 8". The ASUS ZenPad 3 S 10 is probably the best reviewed tablet out there at the moment and recently got Nougat. It also looks like it'll probably get Oreo. The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 4 Pro 10" looks good whenever it comes out but Lenovo is spotty with release dates and long term support. If you're looking for anything above 10", I would probably recommend looking at the 2-in-1 Chromebook market. They end up heavier than a tablet and a little bit more awkward than a regular tablet but with Android app support performance is pretty smooth. I'm actually surprised how often I rather take my Samsung Chromebook Pro with me than my Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 10"(fine for reading but pretty horrible for anything memory intensive.) Though something to look into if you're not worried about warranty or anything like that is homebrew development for your Tab Pro 12.2. I was using my ASUS Transformer TF101 for a good four years because open source development was keeping it running smoothly.
  4. Corey Graves and Renee Young fighting over who is going be the hardest working person in the WWE. Edit: It'll be interesting how they'll do this for co-branded PPVs. With the broadcast booths for Raw and Smackdown being a distant distance away from each other.
  5. I feel like CFO$ make good wrestling theme songs but bad actual songs. Most of their stuff sounds great on TV but when you listen to the full songs online it's highly repetitive. Jim Johnston and Jimmy Hart's stuff tend to be far more listenable as actual songs.
  6. Comixology is having a DC Buy One Get One Free Sale with promo code SDCC17. Runs through the 23rd and excludes comics released after July 7th and the first issue of Dark Days: The Forge.
  7. PTSD from Brett Ratner. The brain has reworked itself to eliminate the memory of Ratner directed movies. According to IMDB, Kinberg is credited as one of the writers for Last Stand.
  8. I suppose that is true. To take things back to a more productive topic, I never had to worry about losing earbuds because I was too busy snagging and snapping the cord on things.
  9. Do people actually work in workplaces where discussing how much everyone earns is a good and acceptable thing? I probably should know better, since I work with passive aggressive women, but they recently switched us from commission to hourly so they gave us our average from last year. When they did so they told us that hourly salary were capped at a certain point but my average hourly was greater than the cap so I basically created a loophole. So for three weeks one of my co-workers has been saying that they modified our average hourly to fit them under the cap and half asking, half stating that I must be getting the max. So I finally just started that wasn't the case because my average hourly was higher and that I was being paid accordingly. The result was a half hour breakdown on my co-worker part and having to do damage control on my part to prevent her from storming into HR and demanding an eight cent raise (difference between her rate and the max rate) by citing my rate since I really didn't want potential blowback from telling it. And sadly this is probably the co-worker that would take this the best. So I always read articles that talk about it being a good thing to discuss salaries in a workplace, are these simply theoretical workplaces or do they actually exist?
  10. If they can't have Daniel Bryan for Talking Smack then JBL should definitely be there go to choice. JBL during the Becky Lynch segment was so great. Also love the setup for the week suspension by having Corban react with an "Oh shit" face after he pushed the ref.
  11. Such a horrible day to work a 3:30 PM to close shift. That said "not winning a game 1 at home" is such a weird streak.
  12. Just finished Iron Fist and I enjoyed it more than both seasons of Daredevil and Luke Cage. Daredevil and Luke Cage felt like chores to finish while Iron Fist was enjoyable enough to get through in a couple days. It had its flaws (dialogue and fight scenes) and had less high points but it at least didn't seem to meander as much.
  13. Comixology is having a BOGO Marvel sale through the 13th. Promo code is MARVEL. Edit: It looks like Amazon as usual have taken 50% off whatever their sale prices were. So in most cases things will be a better deal on Amazon.
  14. As good as Smackdown was, Talking Smack was even better. AJ Styles...Flat Earther.
  15. II suppose my counterpoint would be that Ben's period as Spider-Man feels a bit like a blip that came after most people were turned off by the Clone Saga. Spider-Girl while never being a major seller at least was around for a while. I at least have read a couple issues of Spider-Girl, I don't believe I ever read a single issue of the Ben's Spider-Man phase.
  16. I know the scheme is more known for Mayday but I would have preferred Ben's Spider-Man costume to the Scarlet Spider costume.
  17. First official trailer for Marvel's Iron Fist. Doesn't seem to give too much away but still the Marvel/Netflix show that I'm most excited for.
  18. Prophetic.
  19. Football analysis does have a tendency to over emphasis the importance of coaching over the importance of players.
  20. For the most part I would say that the new All-Star Voting system seemed to work out. It prevents vote for the worst movements or just popular but not necessarily deserving players being voted to the All-Star Game. I feel there is discussion to be had with the front court selections and I feel like anyway you would cut it there would be a degree of dissatisfaction with both the east and the west back courts. Edit: The official release has breakdowns of the voting which is also interesting to look at. Especially some of the differences between the player and media votes.
  21. Well that is certainly not what I was expecting when I went to bed during the third quarter of Warriors/Grizzlies.
  22. Riverdale looks like someone decided to make a dark and gritty Dawson's Creek instead of anything tied to the Archie series. So disappointing with what they're doing with the Archie comics right now.
  23. The DC sale is a bit underwhelming in that since everything is $5.99 you have a lot of 4 issues for $5.99. Also a lot of the prices for the Marvel sale are better on Amazon and they're also seemingly having an across the board 50% off Image sale.
  24. That inner "NOOOO!" when you realize that someone from work bought you something for Christmas when you weren't planning on getting them(or anyone else) anything for Christmas.
  25. So glad the world got the time they did with Craig Sager after the initial diagnosis. He will be missed.
