    Saw Ho-Sang fell to the Isles due to "character issues". Can any of you guys tell me if that's just a polite way of saying "non white and outspoken" because that's what it sounds like at first glance? And yes, there is an irony in the fact that the guy who drafted him cursed on live TV right after doing so.

    As part of his entry level contract Reinhert will get unlimited fistbumps from Sabretooth. Wonder if he has another brother who can be drafted by the Rangers so his family could get the NYS hat trick.

    I was at the show and it was fucking awesome. It's really worth going out of your way to see. Crowd was absolutely on fire the entire night and added so much to the show. It was really like an ECW show. The Wolves-Hardys match more than lived up to expectations and did more to get the Wolves over than everything else they've done combined.

    MLS returns from a 2 week break tonight as the Whitecaps host the Impact. Metro hosts TFC on Friday. Cahill and Henry should both be back and Bradley will be missing for TFC so that should help. Will be interested to see what the crowd is and if there will be a World Cup boost.

    Final regular season game at the Nassau Colliseum will be against Columbus. Would it have killed the league to have put the Oilers in that spot instead? Speaking of the Oilers, is this the last year at Rexal? That and the Colliseum are the last old style barns left, shame both will soon be gone. Atmosphere at these modern arenas just Isn't the same.

    If you are on the fence, I'd suggest ordering it because you are all but assured of a good show and will likely get a great show. The tag title match alone will probably be worth your $25.

    Unless you are talking a 24 year old franchise player those long term big money contracts are almost always a bad idea. As much as I'd like for Callihan to come home to WNY I am of the opinion that giving him the contract he wants will be a disaster. Last thing we need Iis another Leino type disaster. And speaking of the Sabres the home opener is on 10/8 vs Columbus, or as I like to call it: the begining of the quest for Connor McDavid.

    Team home openers have been announced. Kings open vs SJ, so the NHL is just being mean. Last home opener ever for Isles in LI is 10/11 vs Carolina. Should've been against Philly, Edmonton or Pittsburgh for historical reasons, hopefully the final ever regular season game is vs one of those teams.

    Only thing good tonight was our fans (particularly the use of flares). Everything else was a fucking disgrace. We didn't give a fuck and got HAMMERED by an NASL side. I can't emphasis that point enough, this was as one sided a game as you will ever see. Actually I have one more positive thing that happened: was able to go to the Colliseum and get tickets to the upcoming WWE house show without paying Ticket$cammer fees.

    Cahill with a goal. God do I love that guy, probably my favorite current Metro. Besides Cahill we also have Roy Miller playing in the WC.

    Metro faces the Cosmos in the Open Cup tomorrow at Hofstra.If we don't take this seriously we will lose, which is exactly what I'm afraid will happen.

    Big Donnie is a more credible world champion than EY. Greatest thing is that they continue to use the same intro video from when he was a comedy guy.

    Do you all realize that ROH probably got more buys for their last iPPV than TNA will get for Slamiversary? Who the hell is going to pay $50 to watch this crap? That's 5 months of the WWE Network.

    What about Drew in ROH? If he goes there and gets to show what he can do he could erase the "WWE bust" stigma. As has been pointed out going to TNA would probably be the worst thing because they would push him to the moon when he is coming off a run as a comedy jobber.

    In happier news I got a ticket to see Motley Crue and Alice Cooper at MSG. Being billed as the Crue's final show in NYC, and I'm really excited to be seeing Alice for the first time. interesting that in NYC Jello Biafra has a show a week after the "Dead Kennedys" (put in quotations because there is no Dead Kennedys without Jello IMO). Thinking of going to see Jello, wouldn't go to see the equivalent of Nirvana with some random guy singing if it were across the street.

    Morrissey cancelled the rest of his US tour due to a respiratory infection. Bummed as I was looking forward to that show.
