Garza Jr is one of my favourite guys in the world right now, he's a throwback. He would fit right in on a 97 Nitro or Saturday Night. The whole show was good, I really enjoyed the Lashley / Sydal / Dutch interview segment, had a big fight hype vibe that we've seen in boxing / mma over the last few years, especially on the back of the recent Connor / Floyd build. Impact right now has that bi-annual, "right guys, we've got the train back on track" feel, I'm just waiting for the "let's see what we can crash it into" that usually follows.

Jaime, even in abject defeat, once again showed why he is who he is. He could have fled as soon as he saw the Dragon, or when Bronn told him to but he stayed, tried his best, shit his pants and still came super close to getting Dany / incinerated for his troubles. There was all kind of badass there in a scene full of badassery. My wife's biggest takeaway is that she just wants the Dragon to be ok, like its a puppy or something. Tyrions "you fuckin idiot" might be the most perfectly delivered line this series. Theon can't catch a break, sails back to Dragonstone, met by Jon Snow. Loved Bronn's Beavis and Butthead reaction to "Dickon". All time top 3 episodes for me.

The main event was pretty decent, Homicide ate a ton of shit on Hijo Dos Caras' dive, that looked brutal! EC3 was great all night. The only thing that didn't click for me was Drago v Xavier. Thought the Lashley / Sydal hype videos were really good also.

Hope Cersei wiped all that Oisin off her lips or Jamie might be in for an unexpected turn! thought the "your walking... dead..." line was shoe horned in as a subtle nod. ...the Vince gif above totally nailed Diana Rigg's delivery. "It was me Cersei, it was me all along dammit!"

Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan looked like a couple of nutty soccer hooligans having a scrap down the pub. The palm strikes were brutal, really enjoyed that match. Drew made Dain look like a million bucks, easily Dain's best showing, he's such a good big man. NXT has a lot of different looking guys and gals, probably the most varied roster WWE has ever had.

Trevor Lee wrestling with the belt on continues to be my favourite thing in Impact right now.

I can't believe that Virgil gif from the last page. I'm assuming that's Janela he's working? Janela is one of my favorite people on the Indy scene at the moment. 7.5 stars.

I'm sure Mastadon were wildling Warriors in one ep.

I enjoyed this episode quite a bit, I'm enjoying the Trevor Lee / Sonjay feud and Trevor is really bringing it. Great opening promo from Konnan and El Patron. Moose and Marufuji was a good little match, Moose's power bomb / senton combo was really great. The Masters / Swole bro's segment was meh, but didn't drag down the show. Mattresses.

I know, thats what makes it crazy! Joe started so hot that 3 mins in when they went to the German > Kokina Clutch trade off it felt like it slowed down. I really enjoyed it though!

Paige and Del Rio seem like a perfectly functional couple, said no one, ever.

I enjoyed the PPV, Brawn v Roman, the tag match, the women's match and Hawkins v Slater (jk) all over delivered. Joe v Brock started hot then ran out of steam but was still decent. Enjoyed that hand painted crowd sign for Joe / Brock that made Brock look like Trump. Heyman was great during the match as well, counting the suplexes, giving advice to Brock after the start, all great stuff.

The tag titles match might be the most fun match I've seen in TN...Imp...GFW for some time, total blast and reminded me of one of those silly Special K Era ROH scramble matches.

Ive been out of the loop for a while but that last line in the spoilers is a nice sureprise!

Chucks "just accept who you are Jimmy" speech was the foreshadowing of his death... When he wakes up that night and you could see him think "fuck jotting this down, I'm going to roll with it", Chuck was accepting his fate, That was quite harrowing to watch.

Great final episode. Can't wait for next season and the fallout from it all.

Reptile getting booked and Carlos' reaction were the greatest thing ever recorded. The fact he just laughed it off and was like "Sure, I'll give him a shot" was superb. Primo begging them to call Carlos back so that he could hear Gallows sing 'Grizzled Young Vet' was also up there. "Yo, my pops would love that man".

The tension during the pill swap scene was unbearable at times, my hands were shaking like Nachos afterwards.

God I hope we get Joe v Necro Butcher for the WWE with Brock and Joe. Just as insanely violent and brutal as they can be...
