  1. Yeah, I remember the WM8 exchange quite vividly! And yeah, read about the Chavo thing, but never actually saw it.
  2. That would actually be cool! Somebody thinking again, coming to his or her senses and giving up during the ref's instructions! "I'm probably not going to win this match and I don't really hate you all that much. I'll fight someone else, next time! "
  3. I thought no man was truly good nor evil. Well, I guess that is obsolete way of looking at things now! Yeah and my benching looked something like that again today, only without the equipment. Not the weight, mind you, just the distance from my chest.
  4. John Nord. Against The Great Kabuki, Kokina Maximus and TNT.
  5. Wow! The Knee Break Kid is back! Look out Candice, she'll go to tear on you! Great job Zoey! You are awesome! Indi's Razor homage was awesome, too! Hit Row are legitimately the best rappers in WWE since Oscar from M.O.M and John Cena! Better than R-Truth. Grimes is going to have some bad times ahead. The men's tag title match was really good, the ending was a bit anti-climactic, but MSK sure are becoming true champions. Are we really going to have Gargano as the champ for a minute, again? At least Cole's new theme is better than the UE one was. The new Break Out tourney looks interesting because of the size difference between the competitors. It will be fun to see who comes out on top this time. Last time it didn't turn out so well for the winner, but pretty much everyone else, it sort of did.
  6. Yeah, didn't make the connection either, until someone really pointed it out and then it was "Right, I'll be damned! So it is! "
  7. Oh, like "pizzas" , ok! Until I saw the sidedishes, I was a bit puzzled as to why do you consider "Pete's ass" the real taste of Italy, but I get it now! Awesome!
  8. Wow, the last week of work before the summer holiday is sure testing me. I started Monday with a jog and felt full of energy, thinking yeah, I got this. Now it's Wednesday morning and while I did go for a jog, afterwards I'm moving around as nimbly as Mick Foley BEFORE discovering DDP Yoga. I had a good and very familiar upperbody workout on Monday and a decent leg day yesterday, but the work day really kicked my ass mentally. The gym is near boiling hot at this point and the production floor in the factory isn't much better, until the evening, so it's also kicking my ass physically as well. Weight has gone as low as 167,5 lbs, but I'll combat that by taking double my usual amount of food to work today. I just hope I find the time to actually eat some of it. I need to leave for gym super early today, since I need to be at work for a meeting 1,5h earlier than normal. But goddammit, it's three more days and then I'm done for four F'n weeks! Not the exercise, but the working, at least. I'll update this one as the week moves forward. Ok, Wednesday was a good and brutal bicep-tricep-delt pump in 30 minutes before the meeting. Thursday was Trapbar with 4,4,4,4 and 6x451. Thursday also included a walk prior to the workout, but no jogging or running. Today was bench and the results were about exactly what they were last week with clean rep with 258, clean reps with 253 and no clean reps with 264. Did 4 partials, though. Better luck with 242 and lower. Did a bunch of sets with 220 (5-6 I'm not sure with around 5-6 reps a piece). Ok, that's it. The diet is now officially done and I get to fill back up. Let's see what that looks like and then I'll tell you if I'm in the best shape of my life or not?
  9. Cool. I put in the simple life living, wholesome and earnest redneck truck driver called "Prince Boy" George Michael Jackson. Named (and nicknamed) by her 80's music loving mother, who moved to the big city early in his life. Therefore, he has no idea why people react to his name in myriad of different ways.
  10. Heel Cena coming to wherever with Braun and Black as his back-up would be an NWO-esqe coup. I just have no clue which color scheme they could use that time around?
  11. You can bet it does, but the written contract between the two "willing" participants should give it some leeway. Of course, the contract probably shouldn't allow anything that could be considered abusive, but since it's a contract drawn up by WWE people, Grimes should really look through the details very carefully before signing anything. And it's probably too late for that, NOW!
  12. On my Cobra Kai kick I was properly introduced to Winger and after listening to them for a few months now, I finally understand that Stuart was actually right all along, and was in fact cooler than Beavis or Butt-Head! And yeah, Beavis & Butt-Head making fun of Merciful Fate and Grim Reaper may have been amusing, but it was as incorrect an opinion then, as it remains today!
  13. Yeah, have a safe time out there, but DO enjoy yourselves!!
  14. I hope you will feel better soon both physically and otherwise. Life has been throwing some serious curve-balls at your direction recently and while it's grossly unfair, sometimes the shit-storm just seems never-ending. However, at some point it just has to ease up and thus get at least a little better. Hopefully, that time will come soon for you. Until then, I seem to get some really powerful positive emotions through music, as I'm sure you do too! Harness those emotions and use them in order to feel at least a little better in the mean time.
  15. I tried Salem and obviously got the wrong "Salem" at first, but then got the all caps one and it was something else. I hear Lycia, Collide and Bowery Electric in here but when the dark rapping started, I tapped out pretty quick. There's a Dark/Satanic Rap Group over here in Finland called Jonestown and that's cool for what it's worth, but I was looking for more epic and Mad Max -shit! But I have to say "Witch House" has to be the coolest name for a sub-genre that has ever existed in the history of anything !
  16. Is this something that you go through on regular basis due to CP, or is this worse than what you consider "normal"? Either way, hang in there man, and this may be absolutely the wrong thing to say, but self-harming is never the way to go! I'm sure you know that, but you are worth more than that and there is a whole board depending on your posts, so you need to tough it out man! Listen to some Ride the Lightening if nothing else mat...I mean helps!
  17. How do you smell "loud and confusing? " I'm both really psyched and totally bummed out about this. And this is, sadly, the exact career move I was likely to make, if I was in the same situation.
  18. In other news, ABC-Kid is one flexible bastard if he didn't pop, sprain or tear something in that main event match ending spot. Throughout the match there was a lot of crazy stuff going on. I wasn't 100% paying attention, but it very much sucked me in by the end of the match. It's good to see A-Kid out of the rounds system for a change.
  19. Yeah, I survived Mid Summer festivities with a 10 lbs of added weight as a result. With 5 workouts and two extra evening walks/jogs along with the morning bike rides to work on an empty stomach, I was able to squeeze about 9 of those out. Week was good, very much the usual. Monday: total upperbody annihilation, Tuesday legday on the squat machine and two kettlebells, Wednesday Incline bench with dumbells followed by hammer curls with the same dumbells, Thursday Trapbar and shrugs. Got 4 sets of 5 with 451 after two weeks off, so that was good. Went for an hour walk and jog including the stairs that same evening, so yeah! Friday was bench day. Ok, I did like 15 or so sets, mostly short, around 3 reps, but could only get 259 clean. Did a bunch with 264 and one with 270, but not one clean rep amongst them. It got better when I got down to 230 and less, but jeez! Guys, I think it's about time to wrap this diet up after next week at the latest, then fill back up a little for the final photo and then I can pretend I look like that from here on out. Sounds like a plan to me. ...and another 50 minute run/walk/stair-climb-hybrid on Saturday morning, because fuck it! And tested the power wheel at home afterwards.
  20. At first, I thought L.A. Knight was going to make Grimes put up his recently aquired fortune in order to get a shot at the million $ title. Hey, Grimes will make a decent Virg... er, I mean butler, so as long he won't lose all his money in the process. I mean there can still be some fine print in the contract that states that if he fails to perform his duties properly, he will forefeit his wealth to Knight, making him a real (multi-) million dollar man.
  21. That can't be a coincidence, can it? They knew what they were going for, right?
  22. Damn! Rest In Peace, Del Wilkes. I had seen The Patriot as one half of Stars N' Stripes in WCW, but I had just discovered Internet when he arrived to WWF and read he had pinned Bret Hart. If he had not injured his arm so badly he had to retire, he could have still done interesting stuff at the tail end of the Attitude Era, teaming and feuding with Kurt Angle and such. This makes me sad.
  23. Yeah, that whipped up such a shitstorm, a "shartnado", if you will, that even correcting it the next night wasn't going to undo the embarrassment !
  24. Sure at that point. We were talking about his last couple of years in WCW, where guys (from Scorpio and Liger onwards) started arriving, who made Pillman's high flying stuff seem rather mundane in comparison. I may have actually preferred his mic work beyond Austin in '96-'97, but I don't think anyone would be such a dick as to say that post-wreck Pillman should have been able match high flying stuff with even the light heavyweight division of WWF at the time (which was far from superb itself ) let alone WCW cruisers. Without the wreck, the still able to go Loose Cannon would have been amazing, though. Even if his heart would have eventually given out like it did.
