  1. Finally (heh) was able to watch the whole show! Wheeler and Garcia got really intense at the end there! Tag Title match was pure insanity and Gunns pick the bones, although FTR are no longer the ROH tag champs. Joe vs Juice was good, both tag matches nice, women's title was good but not exactly what I was thinking. But they got some time. Main event was good too, the finish was quite surprising, but we must remember that Jericho has PTSD from The Swing!
  2. Do they trust his/her/their judgment on the issue? Up until now they were like Mills Lane "I'll allow it!" Must have been gutwrenching to make the call! "NO, this is obviously too much, I couldn't possibly watch this another second!" Quite the responsibility bestowed upon one person!
  3. Re: Mandy released! Poor woman. Feel so bad for her for losing her job like that. It feels like I should do something to help. Was there some kind of website, or did I understand correctly? Maybe subscribing to that would help her out during this difficult time. Just so I could say I did something.
  4. If that happens, if EWR taught ME anything, then all of Vince's illegitimate children start popping up, marrying the wrestlers and the wrestlers then get creative control and refuse to lose from that point forward.
  5. Just to be sure, I won't be returning to WWE Network subscription next year. Just in case the dipshit does come back.
  6. @NikoBaltimore I haven't come across that game before, but anything that gets people moving and training in any way, can't be all bad! Thanks for sharing!
  7. Yeah, that and all the Jeff Hardy stuff probably taught them a thing or two. I can't say that I'm shocked that this happened, but it's good if he was willing to go to rehab. We've had cases where people rather get released than go to rehab.
  8. Monday I was very beat and headed home straight after work. I also assumed people had already started packing up the gym. Today I actually went to see if that was the case and since everything was still in place, I decided to get the bench workout in. Warming up with 5x132, 3x220, 3x242, 2x264, 1x275, then 6 "sets" with 286, which meant 1 good rep and 2-3 sad partials on 3 sets, one set with almost two decent reps and one partial and two sets of basically trash nevermind the number. Then 3 not good reps with 275, 2 good and 2 bad reps with 264, an ugly 7 with 242 (5 more like) and the same with 220, then 25x132. Between reps there were lat pull downs in many different angles, shrugs, lateral raises to the side and some light curls. It was snowing so I didn't do anything involving legs and that was good, since the roads were a mess heading home. Also some real snow plowing waiting for me there, not the leasurely practice I had on Sunday. I hope the roads are cleared by tomorrow morning. Can't promise any more workouts, bur if I do get the chance, I'll try to get the trapbar in one more time before the two week Holiday break.
  9. I don't really envy Seven's chances against a single Trent, let alone seven of them!
  10. Trent? TRENT! Trent Fucking Seven?!?! That was cool and did not even cross my mind! I started watching, but fell asleep during the opener and woke up in the middle of the main event and fell back asleep before it ended. So yeah, haven't gotten around to Zero Hour, let alone Final Battle.
  11. Is it like 9 PM over there, because that's a fantastic time. 11 PM over here is not terrible, either. Oh, it already said just that, but yeah perfect time!
  12. Is it because you feel so pumped up and motivated, or trying to get away from it so you don't have to hear more?
  13. I'd love to buy that game for my nephew, but I think he gives negative shits about wrestling games, if the WWE 2K19 I got him a couple of years ago is any indication. Who knows, maybe I will get it for him regardless?
  14. Hey, maybe Claudio can regain his title in a semi-competitive sub 10-minute squash in the opener, just like last time? Obviously, not really, but if The Ocho had had even longer reign at this point, maybe Honky Tonk Man at SummerSlam'88 treatment WOULD be in order?
  15. Plus, the Gunn Club can pick the bones of FTR, AFTER they barely survive the Briscoes for the third time and take the ROH tag titles from FTR who are still weakened by losing probably a pint of blood, each, in that match?
  16. This is the second ROH PPV I've ordered, FTR vs Briscoes II was obviously the main reason for the previous one, but I think Rush vs Dragon Lee by itself was already worth throwing 21e at it. For that price, this too seems like a lot of pretty unique stuff. Probably well worth it. Double Dog Collar goes last, absolutely.
  17. Hey! I'm people too! Am I a joke to you? Joker, maybe, but still...
  18. Yesterday I was just getting a breezy upper body pump in with EZ bar curls and OHP's but with much less weight than last time. I did a few sets with reverse grip so I could work the forearms better. More lateral raises and resistance band work as well. Due to the relocation of my workplace the gym will be packed up and moved to the new place shortly. This may lead to some time off. Over here, winter is indeed coming. Up until recently, there hasn't been any snow which has been quite a blessing as far as biking is concerned. Now it has been snowing a little bit for a couple of days, at quite reasonable pace, but it still made the rides a lot more tasking. I need to buy new winter tires for the bike after next week. If I want to go today, I need to get going soon, we'll see if that happens. Edit. Yeah, ended up going but only did calves and shrugs along with light resistance band stuff. Was this the last time before the holidays? I'll do stuff at home, but the gym may be loaded into a truck before I get the chance to go again.
  19. I went running with my wife on Monday morning and today I arrived to work extra early so I could get the bench workout in before the early start we have every third Wednesday. The top weight was same as last week, but I think it went a little bit better than last time. The warm up was 5x132, 5x220, 3x242, 3x264, 1x275. Then 6 sets with 281 trying to get 3 each time. 2 of the first sets were quite alright, the next two not quite as good, but still OK, fifth was trash and sixth even worse. Then the sets with 275 and 264 weren't much better. Both with 3 "reps", but ugly partials in reality. 242 went ok for 4 reps and couple more less so. 11x220 in theory, but not in practice. 25x132 for the finish. Lat pull-downs, lateral side raises, shrugs and pushdowns between the sets. Rest of the week is uncertain. If I have the time, I'll try to get more in, but stuff may get in the way. I have been trying to eat more during the couple of extra days off (Finnish Independence Day yesterday), I haven't weighed myself, but the pump was looking pretty rad.
  20. So, should he pick "God" or "Freak" as his wrestling nickname, with a first name like that?
  21. @SirSmellingtonofCascadia I saw a picture in PWI in '96 where Jarrett was facing Ricky Morton during this run. I wonder if that match is on Nitro or syndication? That sounds interesting.
