MARCH 2021 Discussion of Wrestling.
Shartnado replied to The Natural's topic in The PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING
Man, to think that I'm sighing from relief for not living in the States and the reason is just the WWE Network! I mean I'm really glad that the change won't affect me at this point, but I guess I should be even more glad that it's not about anything more serious this time around! -

I don't think I ever bothered to watch a single episode of 120 minutes, even partially. Hard pass. Shit, you'd think Rob F'n Zombie would know better than thrash Lemmy? I mean I like his music more than I do Motörhead in general, but that goes against all common sense. Somewhere else, he was taken off the panel for answering "Slayer" to the question "Who is the biggest bad ass in Rock Music?" , when other panelists said apparently Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen. Now, that answer I get, but dissing Lemmy seems like an unnecessary career -suicide. -

What would likely be some of the earliest possible Finlay stuff on tape? How young would he have been at the time and how much experience would he have had when first captured on film? -
Under no circumstances should this ever be attempted by anyone, and it by no means a smart thing to do, but holy shit was that awesome!

So, apparently they have started making some sort of pop music in Korea. I wonder if that could like ever catch on, like anywhere? I just don't know what they could call it.

I have no idea who that is, nor do I have a need to find out, and yet, I absolutely refuse to live in a world where she doesn't! -
Well, someone is bringing up their offspring the right way. ..

Wasn't it external occipital protuberance? But yes, that was what the joke was referring to.

That's that little lump on the back of your neck, isn't it?

I was about to edit that and say "No wait, in this case it's Judas on his, Judas on his right" but now I'm not goin to do that. Cheers at work would be beyond the pale. I shudder at the thought. -

Did he end up spending too much time around Teddy Hart before Hart removed himself from the equation once again, or what the hell went wrong? -

Well, shit! But hey, cosidering what a Loose Cannon his father was, this really shouldn't come as THAT big of a shock! ...Speaking of, I wonder if Pillman Sr. was for OR against wearing the Yellow Dog mask? -
Roger that. Probably for the best, anyway. I see how that must have ended in tears.

That makes me a sad panda.

The above comment makes me think of the time a guy I used to know started to book his own fantasy fed and I "loaned" some of the guys from my own created wrestling RPG to fill out his roster. Obviously, I wasn't really "using" any of the talent, since I wasn't really using the game anymore, but I had put a lot of thought into the characters at one time, and tried to explain them to him the best I could. Then, he proceeded to turn them into most ridiculous bull-shit characters and job them out to his own created guys at least on the first show he wrote (he wanted me to write the Scott Keith/Chris Hyatte-type reviews about the shows afterwards). This didn't last very long as our creative differences were quite significant. I mean he was just trying to have fun, and I was like "you are obviously having fun in a very, very wrong way!" I can see, how I was taking it way too serious at the time, but boy was I pissed at the time. But yeah, E-feds are probably shit to pull off, because so many people do it totally wrong, as very well described in the above post.

For whatever reason, I used to love Remote Control, although I only catched a few episodes back in the day. I mean I was barely old enough to understand the concept, though I was already old enough to understand some of the language. Still, it enthralled me at the time. Great intro-theme, too, as I recall. Other than that, for the stuff I was really into later on, was Beavis & Butt-Head, The State, Dead at 21 and Into the Pit - section of Headbanger's Ball. -

One of the DOA era Harris Twins I would imagine. Ok, since Austin stunned him that one time, the guy I didn't get could be Jarrett. -

This is amazing. I was able to identify all but one. Who is the blonde guy with a mic on the right hand side next to Lita, below Slaughter and above Funk? -
Yeah, as I've said before, Mastiff certainly deserves better.

That would be a great way to do things if you find that you have booked yourself into a corner and the guy with the briefcase definitely isn't someone you'd want to give even a BS reign to! Have them cash in, and get kicked in the groin for an instant DQ, then the champ takes the briefcase and beats the everloving fuck out of the MitB winner so badly that they will not be around for a good while afterwards. -
Did Kacy Catanzaro really tear her ACL at some point and the Xia Li match and stoppage was a way to explain that or were the crutches and the kneebrace this week just paying attention to detail? It's a real damn tragedy if she's badly injured for real! If it's been reported, then I have missed it. Not that I check anywhere but here, but still.

Which may be part of the reason they gravitated towards one another in the first place.
