  1. The opening with Mariah and Toni was great, and it became apparent that Mariah was parodying Toni's melodramatic style when challenging her to a Hollywood Ending. Let's see what that entails? The Harley promo was awesome, too! Way to go, Harley! Run with those big dreams of your next door neighbour! The opener was better than their first match but not quite the 2/3 falls classic at WrestleDream! Ok, now Beast can move on to Bandido finally and Hologram and Kommander can become the new Lucha Bros! All they need now is a taunt! Something like "Cero Rizz!" Trios match was good. Obviously, nobody expected a title change here, but whatever. Surprise submission ending in Aminata vs Hart. I guess the octopus is a finisher now? Did they change the lyrics to the theme song? I think I heard "Hart always wins" this time! Gabriel Kidd vs Butcher was a war, although pretty short. Slept through most of the Jericho-Bandido so I need to get back to that one.
  2. I have Honor Club, yes, but the last time I watched anything from it was the latest PPV from late last year. I intend to watch the Global Wars tomorrow to see that new luchadore tag team Los Outrunners just to see what's that about!
  3. Are we sure that was an accident or was she messing with you on purpose?
  4. https://youtu.be/LG6c1fnSx-Q Plenty of material filmed this week but the couple of Trapbar lifts here are from last week, actually. Getting the 88lb single arm dumbell press on camera for the first time here. Music by the always amazing Birthday Massacre, because despite there being zero visual evidence of it left, I will always be a Goth at heart.
  5. Not blaming anyone but this is eeriely similar to that time when Thunder Rosa made Ivelesse no sell Rosa's armbar to get her fired. Coincidence? Just askig questions.
  6. I actually had read that name in a magazine (Wrestling World, I think?) in a story about Cowboy Bill Watts a year (well, 6ish months in real time) before Pillman and Austin started calling themselves that. I was like, wait, they're using THAT name now?
  7. Dude, stop thinking about Hulk Hogan when Megan Bayne is on screen! Or, well, in general.
  8. Well, it's not like I'm going to blame Ford or Bayne for anything, ever, so let's go with that then!
  9. Yeah, just not that particular veteran's advice, it seems. In a way, this reminds me of the Megadeth lyric "Whatta ya mean I ain't kind? / Just not your kind!"
  10. Dynamite opening promo was pretty bad-ass and MJF was slightly less annoying than he has been recently and made some solid points. Very intrigued by the upcoming match. But: Where's Jarrett at? Attacking MJF after the match, I guess? More trios title defenses coming up! That's good. Garcia and 2.0 have less of a shot than Undisputed Kingdom did (Where's Taven & Bennett at?) The street fight was intense with Hobbs getting his revenge. (Down with) OPP's kicked the collective ass of The Patriarchy with Christian showing exactly what kind of absentee father he really is, letting his kids take a beating and not being there for them when it matters. OPP is the sort of team that will actually have a shot at winning the Trios titles if they get a shot at them. Not complaining, but this seems awfully quick to give us Statlander vs Bayne. I did figure that there would be a tag match with Rosa/Statlander vs Ford/Bayne and I'm all for it. Gabe Kidd coming to Collision. After that Omega match, I am interested to see who he will go up against? Wait, it's Max Caster, isn't it? Time for another ass kicking! OC has his good music back! Excellent! Wait, it's been a year already since that title match between Roddy and OC? Shit! Well, this was good. The hugging contest early on was good times. OC still has issues with Cole and I'm fine with that. TBS title will also be defended at Revolution, ok. Jericho vs Bandido on Collision. How about on ROH? No? Okay. Timeless Toni Storm promo was good but it didn't really set up anything yet. Well, she can have her moment before that happens. Good episode, nothing earth shattering, compared to Grand Slam, but that should be obvious.
  11. Damn, missed the previous thread, but Grand Slam was amazing! The opener, holy F'n shit! Kenny with a couple of rough spots but otherwise fantastic! Great performance by Harley Cameron! And Not Sasha, as well! This told a wonderful story. Harley had the right idea with pinning combinations but took too big of a risk with the swanton and it cost her in the end! Also, holy shit the puppet was OVER!!! Somewhere in the garbage heap of wrestling history, Rocco is crying his eyes out and not just because of Paul Ellering's hand up his ass, either! He wishes to get a reaction a fraction of the one Mini Mone got here! The tag brawl and Okada vs Matthews were both very good but obviously took the wind out of the crowd's sails. Well, not exactly, they kept booing, not falling into depressed apathy. The main event was awesome! Both women survived a total murder by the other one and then a surprise small package ends it. Obviously, this needs a real blow off!
  12. Would that count as another world title win for him? Because if it would, then it can be a shrewd option for him! (Do they count it in Charlotte's ten or whatever title reigns?)
  13. Then, when Callis tries to interfere anyway, Wight could knock him out with a punch and then casually walk backstage with a limp Callis hanging from his wrist.
  14. I thought that was a legitimate question but I was just missing the original context.
  15. https://youtu.be/NhoN4PpV5ko Here's the newest video, this time soundtracked by The Widowmaker by W.A.S.P. After the first Trapbar lift, there's the actual incline Seal Row captured first time on video. So if @Technico Support can be pulled away from the beer thread for a second, he can see what I've been talking about all this time. I promised you a 3x180kg+ (396lbs, well this is over 400) squats with the machine with a stop at the bottom and that one is there also. The 454lb squats were deeper than ever before (thus far). One more workout to go, not sure if there will be anything worth filming or not?
  16. The Harley segment was amazing! The puppet Mercedes looks like such a doll! And once Harley Cameron got serious, it got even better! I hope she'll have the match of her career so far against Not Sasha. The Gunns gave a valiant effort and Hurt Syndicate now has victories over two former tag champs and the previous champions, obviously. But when Cage and Archer walked out, I was like "That's what I'm talking about! Fuck yeah!" Dustin-MJF was as good as expected and now all of a sudden Hangman is going at it with MJF? That's awesome, but what happened to Jarrett? Penelope with another great effort against Statlander and Megan Bayne out there again after the match! Coincidence, or something more? Bayne and Ford is a pairing I could certainly get behind! What? Shut up! Power and Agility! The Trios title match was really good and is that so hard to have these guys defending the fucking titles when you have all these Trios just ready to challenge for them? The Opps should have the next go, lest Samoa Joe remember it was JERICHO that put him out of action, not Christian or The Patriarchy in general! Cope and White worked really well as a unit, outsmarting Death Riders and almost revealing the title. What if the briefcase only contains the paperwork that is involved with defending the title? That's why Moxley refuses to open it or have it opened, because he doesn't want to deal with that? Will the title match be a Ladder Match at Revolution? Not a suggestion, btw, just a guess or a rhetorical question. I enjoyed this quite a lot. Grand Slam looks stacked and then the build up to Revolution really starts!
  17. So Bayley took that little impersonation personally, holy shit! She was on Roxanne like Kendrick on Drake! Cora gets her place in the title match, so it's all good. Was this taped in Arkansas, because I could have sworn I saw Little Rock in there somewhere! When he said people have been asking when The Revolution will be televised again, someone should have yelled "On March 6th!" Hank and Tank seem like an awesome tag team. The whole 3 way was full of action. I can't believe that Ridge Holland was just a distraction on the way to the real feud between D'Angelo and Shawn Spears! Good action and D'Angelo looked like a total boss in this. I was sure he was going to lose because he was looking so dominant at times. This women's roster is pretty fantastic, can't argue with that!
  18. And just watch, they will be renamed Jenny and Allison.
  19. I have taken this approach on occasion without knowing the correct terminology.
  20. Watched last week's SD! while doing all kinds of stuff at the same time, but holy yeet-zuz, Jay was over with that crowd! So Smackdown is 3 hours now as well, right? Because this show just kept going! There was a bunch of good stuff throughout, but I was like, um I need to be leaving for gym and work now, guys!
  21. Sure, adjusted for inflation and the overall rising of all prices, except for regular folks' wages. And of course, it's TK's family money, so he'll decide if it is or isn't? That said, from what I have seen so far, I'd feel like a Theranos(?) investor at this point.
  22. That's how I see it. This isn't to say that Okada wouldn't be worth something, or quite a bit actually, but the millions of dollars he's supposed to be getting now? Yeah, no.
