  1. Considering there are now a bunch of guys with no actual match on the PPV, due to not making to the finals of Continental Classic, there's a good possibility that the 20-man battle royal for the TNT-title shot could be REALLY loaded! Bryan, Claudio, RUSH, Briscoe, White, Brody, Hangman (not in the tourney, but not booked, either) and a bunch of others.
  2. Both semi-finals were awsome. Considering how strong Mox has been booked in this tournament, him winning the whole thing would be such a "LOLCenaWins"-thing, I see basically no way it can happen. No, it CAN happen, but it definitely shouldn't! Eddie, stop doubting yourself and just do it!
  3. The other masked man, now a new ROH tag champ, sure as hell reminded me of O'Reilly. The other one I couldn't get a handle on, but yeah, there could be something Fishy about him, for sure! @Lawful Metal I thought FTR accepted the challenge on Collision, after the Garcia v Brody King match! Maybe they just forgot the graphic? Let's hope so!
  4. I was pretty sure this would happen when I heard their contracts weren't renewed with WWE. They are an excellent tag team that is a definite asset to any company they sign with! Good job, TNA!
  5. If Mox goes to the finals, then Eddie goes too. And if that is the title match, then the only correct ending is Eddie going over. They have unfinished business from earlier this year, as well as 2020.
  6. On Collision, the damn Continental Classic was damn near perfect! The draw between Bryan and Claudio was great and logical. They went all out, but held back during the match just enough not to be able to settle the match within 20-minutes, alhough Claudio sure did try to pull it off in the final seconds! Garcia not giving up despite being destroyed and getting the win with a wrestling move was also very good. Daddy Magic trying to protect him from the post-match attack by HOB was touching. Eddie pulled it off against (not all but still) bad odds and getting the chance to avenge his loss to Danielson by this huge win over Andrade. The trios match was exciting, I could have done with a title change here, but Top Flight Action got pretty damn close, anyway! Maybe target the ROH six man titles as soon as possible? Women's tag went pretty much the way I thought it would. Rosa could definitely challenge Julia after the PPV. Abadon winning the title would be very shocking, despite their impressive win-loss record. Haven't basically all their losses come in title matches prior to this? Skye Blue's new attire was impressive to say the least. She seemed to have suprisingly good cohesion with Julia. I liked the fact that Brian Cage and Keith Lee gave at least 15% of the agile flying stuff from their previous matches in this one. I was expecting even less than that. Either way, it wasn't what it once was, but still impressive power stuff with some agility thrown in! So, the other League was as predictable as possible until unpredictable (in the worst way possible) 3-way league final, while the other one was unpredictable until the predictable (in the best way possible) league final. Well, given the participants, any combination should make for at least a very good match at World's End! You're in a pretty good place if Mox vs Danielson in the finals is literally the most boring outcome of this thing! The damn Rampage has once again not found its way to DANZ as of yet!
  7. A handmade wooly buff-thingy you can use around your neck as a scarf of more on your head like a hood. My sister made it for me. My friend got me a whole box of protein bars and a standard size (0,7 litre) bottle of Finlandia Vodka. I bought a new pair of bluetooth earbuds for myself out of necessity, as the previous ones started to be very unreliable. I also got the World's End PPV on Triller TV for myself. The three night stay at the Hotel/Spa on the Southernmost part of Finland was the only "present" me and my wife got for each other. In part, due to the dinners and breakfasts had at the hotel during our stay, I also got the gift of mass, as this morning I no longer qualify as a cruiserweight, 205,1 lbs.
  8. Ran 10km this morning, it took way more than an hour. Feels like dying. Spa yesterday was nice. Some water training, sauna, the cold pool (one sitting, maybe 45 seconds), stretching in the steam room, some very casual swimming. Yesterday also included a leisurely hike to the shoreline, like last year, but no running. The trip has been more active than I figured.
  9. So did Rude and Dustin! And when was Dustin-Vader? '92 or '93, I guess '92?
  10. @Elsalvajeloco I have always liked Paul Roma a lot, and remember being so stoked when my sister brought me a WCW-magazine in '93 that told me that Roma was now part of the Horsemen! I have seen his work in WCW and I find no problem with it!
  11. Merry Xmas or any other Holiday any of DVDVR-crew celebrates from Finland! This year wasn't exactly awesome, but I had wonderful time here, as always! Have fun, stay safe! Everyone is awesome!
  12. @StretchMediatedHypertrophy 75kg OHP is bad ass! Hoping to get there next year! Good luck with the 80kg, I'm sure it's there if you reach for it!
  13. Ran for more than 50 minutes first thing this morning. Felt about the same as last time. Spa and sauna later on today, maybe some very light swimming in the pool. Resistance band later on. The spa had a new, tiny, cold water pool (at 6 degrees Celsius) I sat there twice for about half a minute. Must have done wonders for my circulation. Used the floaters for resistance work in the pool. Taking 2 flat floaters on top of one another and trying to keep them under water while keeping my toes touching the bottom of the pool was pretty good resistance workout. Now getting ready for Xmas Dinner.
  14. As I joked previously, I got myself something nice for Xmas and got this PPV on Triller TV (formerly known as Twit... I mean FITE TV). So I will have something fun planned for some time in the new year's eve.
  15. Watching Final Battle 2017. Started with Matt Taven vs Will Ospreay. Seeing Taven get a clean pin on Ospreay is something that probably will not happen again! The Addiction vs War Machine is a pretty cool dream match about two years before it became a dream match. Best Friends vs Motor City Machine Guns was really entertaining. 4-way elimination match for the TV title was Action packed between Shane Taylor, Kenny King, Punishment Martinez and Silas Young. Ok, so this is where The Last Real Man won the title. They have mentioned that on ROH TV. Hung Bucks vs Flip, Titan and Dragon Lee was crazy shit! I enjoyed The Briscoes vs Bully Ray and Tommy Dreamer street fight a lot! Dalton Castle vs Cody Rhodes was very good match, weird to see pre-back injury Castle. He took a nasty bump on the stairs down the ramp. I wonder if that was what caused the injury in the first place? I have to say I prefer his I Want it All instrumental to the current Radio Ga-ga one. Yeah, really good show. I guess I'll work my way backwards to the more classic era, but wanted to check out The Elite/NJPW era before getting to 2005-7 stuff.
  16. Yeah, can't see you very close to any sort of banning situation over here, so that must have been a weird moment for you! Good to know it was just a technical issue.
  17. I did another resistance band workout yesterday morning and push-ups with the handles in the evening. We just came back from a run this morning and it didn't feel as good as it did the last time, not that it felt good then. But hey, at least it's done for today. I'll get the maintenance work in later on.
  18. I think I saw one match that she wrestled in, but it definitely hasn't been very frequent. Maybe that is going to change after this?
  19. In a tournament like this, I would think it would be imperative to make that match elimination-style. As far as Mox's lack of selling goes, at least RUSH limped around in every match. I guess it's easier to sell something when your leg is actually hurting, same with Bryan's face!
  20. Alright, where to begin? RUSH vs Swerve was very bad-ass, with RUSH making a few errors in judgment, showing off and messing his leg for the rest of the match, letting Swerve eventually cut him down. Samoa Joe learning from the last time and accusing MJF of being the Devil after all. MJF counters with solid points. The Devil counters with the whole locker room under a mask. Ok, that's enough to be two peoples' separate goon squads or then just hired help from various indies that are never going to be a part of the stable. But there are two people under those hoods who are interested enough to challenge for the ROH tag titles! Jay Lethal vs Mark Briscoe was very good and it took a goddamned Burning Hammer and a Jay Driller to hammer and drill Jay for the 3 count. Glad to see Mark win something and after the big ROH win, he is back on the right track. I don't think that's exactly what Rocky Romero had in mind there, OC, but at least he gets an opportunity to get more gold around his waist. OC would probably defend against Statlander, if she would ask for a title match! Riho with a big win over Saraya and also had no time for Toni's bullshit and started wailing away at her instead of an intense stare down. Mariah had to make the save. Does Mariah have time to make her in-ring debut againts Riho next week, or will that happen after the PPV (against whomever)? Roddy beats Kommander in a nice Dean Malenko vs Random masked luchadore on Nitro -tribute match and used what spare time he had left to spout his misinformation (or disinformation) about MJF. I have no idea about where will Roddy eventually land in this whole thing, but it still seems like The Kingdom are honestly worried about his neck health and not just playing their part in a ruse. However, The Kingdom would definitely have their eyes on the ROH tag titles, right? Maybe next week? Hmmm. I have a feeling that Mox's luck with this tournament just ran out with the victory over Swerve. With White coming up with a win here and forcing a three way semi-finals, I don't see Mox in the finals. You don't force a three way just to have the guy who gets in last, lose. Unless that's the only reason he got there in the first place. Ok, so maybe it isn't so cut and dry, after all? Just seems like Swerve will face Lee on the PPV, while Mox and White have no on going issues besides the tournament. So, is the Golden Showers vs Absolute Big Assholes completely off the PPV, or will Jericho get to look for a new partner or do Starks and Bill get new challengers for the title? Yeah, looking forward to Lee vs Cage, but it's probably going to be totally different from the match I saw between them on Youtube. Fun epidode and now I will take advantage of watching more random big events of earlier ROH to hold me over until Rampage and Collision, which I probably won't see until after christmas, anyway.
  21. Had the sports massage yesterday and it felt good. Pretty much pain-free at the moment in the lower back region and that's very cool. I did a brief resistance band workout in the morning before getting there and also did one this afternoon along with elevated push-ups (50+30) using the handles. This routine will most likely continue every day at least at some point.
  22. I was thinking an Elon Musk-esque character, but a super terrible neck tat would be icing on that shit sundae!
  23. Speaking of African Dream, has there ever been an African Nightmare? If not, wouldn't it be like a high time for one?
