Stuff like this is what's missing from today's scene. It fit the match, it didn't look staged, and it looked so damn real.

Foley and Rock were not great in the ring. They knew how to work a crowd- and Foley would do anything it took to keep a crowd- but in terms of actually wrestling both were very average. Hell I'd rate Michael PS Hayes over both for in ring... And he'd hold his own with these guys in all the other categories.

I was a big fan of Mr Wonderful in the 90's. I thought he was a legit badass in my pre-internet days. He even made me like Paul Roma! His whole look was excellent. His robe was on par with Valentine & Flair's. He would have made a badass Horseman.

Funny... I see a young Barry Windham in Griff. He's lanky and smooth in his movements.

The dude that Archer destroyed was more convincing on the mic than 75% of the roster. I'd ask to see if he'd want to be a manager in his vendetta against Archer.

Pretty sure the reason why they're not rolling with Tommy End is due to the chants that will be coming across on network television. It's a bad look to advertisers if you have "TOMMY.. TOMMY... TOMMY F'N END!" being said on your show every week or every other week. That said... I still hate it. Excalibur pushing the new name was just weird.

As much as I love what TK is doing,his biggest weakness is that of quality control. Nobody or no thing is really held to a standard until it's pointed out to him well after the fact.

A bit if a newsflash- but wrestlers aren't any different than the average person. Their lives are just researched and analyzed to death by fanatics on the internet.

I actually see the comparison. They're both young lady killers of latin descent from Texas. Sammy is also quite passable on the mic... Much moreso than Jungle Boy. He's #4 in the Inner Circle... But he's also the baby of the group so his mic skills will be coming around. Comparing wrestlers/athletes isn't always a direct correlation of abilities. It's also the feel you get. When Dynamite first debuted they were hyping Sammy as a young Eddy... Now it's Gino.

Whole heartedly agree. I love The Dark Order. I think Evil Uno needs a new mask now! With his most impressive weight loss it's looking a little loose on him. Way to go, big man!

It's been well reported that Butch Reed was a big fan of Hobbs before his passing. I swear the amount of vitriol against JR is both jarring and comical. The flubs is one thing- and his grumpy sour attitude is another that comes out more on his podcast- and his habit of emphasizing every ex college football players background is now a borderline drinking game- but he is a walking encyclopedia of wrestling history because he lived it and breathed it for longer than most of us (and I'm 41) have been alive. If Hobbs reminds him of Butch Reed then he has the right to say that and not be subtlety called out as a racist. He can highlight the physical attributes of male wrestlers all day- but the second he mentions one aspect of a female combatants definition he's a sexist perverted old man. Hell, even if he makes comments like "still has the frame to grow" he will get labeled as a steroid pusher.

I would much rather see a 2 man booth of Skeeavone & Excalibur. Mauro isn't needed- and JR still has a place in an on screen role... I think he's a great interviewer and he should be doing the sit downs that Tony handles. I also think JR's best suited role is behind the scenes- but I think he still believes in his fastball and is too stubborn to know when it's time to take a step back.

The dirty thought of Vickie being the girlfriend to both Nemeth brothers is too much.

That's how MJF sells the leg. He's done it a few times in the past... And it's odd because compared to every other wrestler in existence you'd think he oversells leg injuries.

I've never seen Ethan Page until AEW but he is rapidly growing on me. I think he's absolute quality and is far more interesting to me than Darby Allin. I don't understand why Eddie is teaming with Penta against The Elite when Frankie The Elite Hunter is right there doing run ins. It would make a lot more sense for Eddie to be paired with Frankie.

Without looking it up is say probably 6-8 years after Platoon.

I heard what Bubba was saying- but I think he's being hypocritical when you look back at how ECW didn't hold anyone to any rules in matches other than a 3 count or submission. His beef with Eddie's promo. I do agree with him that he doesn't need to drop down to the lowest rung on the ladder. You can hype up your crowd and the locker room without tossing garbage at the competition.

I think The Smoking Gunn's and The Headshrinkers are vastly undervalued in this. Both teams held up the tag division in the New Generation era.
