I was hoping yo see Mark Henry sneak up on QT during the Paul Wight face off and just put his massive hands on his shoulders. I think a Wight/Henry tag team would be pretty fun in AEW.

I'd like to see Omega hold the 10 Pounds of Gold... which I think is absolutely conceivable. I don't see any reason why not - it would only elevate the NWA and it would freshen them up a bit by finally taking it off Aldis.

Dante Martin is going to be a freaking superstar. It hit me that I hadn't seen him with is brother in a long time, so i had to look up what happened to Darius. I didn't know he tore his ACL. Daniel Garcia can GO. He's going to be a Champion. I've also been impressed with Darby lately. When he's in the ring with guys his size you can see his ability to work and not just be a pinball. Him and Garcia are great dance partners. They had some damn good pacing and didn't just go spot monkey. 2.0 is my new favorite team. I love those guys and have never seen them before last week.... "I'm sorry!" was so great. Knox is the worst referee I've ever seen. He is noticeably bad at his job. The ref for the Impact Tag Title match is the best I've seen in an AEW ring since Mike Chioda's guest spot. He was really good. Stu & Uno vs The Good Brothers was a classic territory championship match. It was so great! Make the home team look like a million bucks before squeaking out a victory at the end. That was such a fun match. Statlander is one of my favorites - but is it me or is Nyla being bumped down the pecking order at a rapid pace? How long has Tony Skeeavone had a pierced ear? I just noticed it tonight with his Brittsburgh interview... and it was all I could look at. On the Tony front- I'm guessing QT Soprano is training Schiavone's kid? I really don't care anymore about Jericho and MJF.

His run with The Question Mark is a top 5 angle of the last 2 years. Pure brilliance.

I honestly can't remember people's names. I worked with a woman for an entire year and never called her by her name because I forgot it after learning it and was too ashamed to ask what it was again.

I spent 15 years in a huge international corporation. We would have layoffs probably annually + role consolidations as the Executive Leadership Board navigated the world market as well as through mergers with other corporations. Getting cut is something we all joked about. It doesn't matter what your position was within the company - no job is really safe. Not even the Executive Leadership!

Mercedes would be a great dance partner w/ Purazzo before she'd have a run in AEW. Fish... I can see him going everywhere. I think he'd be great as a singles in the NWA, IMPACT, New Japan, and if he can find a partner he'd have a damn good run in AEW in a tag team. Jonah I could see in New Japan as a Super Gaijin. That would build up his legend immensely for his eventual AEW run.

Roddy, Ciampa, Johnny Kickpads, KOR are all going to be cut. They're all undersized and over 30. There's nothing for them.

I'm thinking Vince went down to NXT... saw what he really had... took what he liked and told his people to dump the rest. Seriously. Does Bronson Reed look like a WWE guy? Not in the slightest. Does Mercedes Martinez look like a WWE Womens Headliner? Again... no. She doesn't fit Vince's mold. She'd be Tamina Snuka without the lineage. We all know Vince has a "look". The Dexter Lumis types is what you will be getting. Vince is taking back control and reinforcing what his ideals are for a WWE performer.

Like everyone else, I was thinking about Bobby, and spent a good 2 hours watching old Midnights matches on YouTube. Even as a teenager in the early-mid 90s I respected Bobby... And that was way before I got on the internet. You just respected that guy in the ring.

1986 had bigger pops. Maybe... Just maybe... They were doing something right.
