Wasn't Big Goldie also used as the WCW International Championship when it was being traded between Sting, Chino and Rude? -

The Headbangers were not your classic metal heads. Theif gimmick came from the nu-goth metal that was Manson where it became a androgynous. -
in my next life I want to be a backup QB or a punter.

Ambrose is in my pantheon of least convincing Champions. I dig it though, nonetheless.

Alex Smith would have won that Super Bowl. He was the right QB for that offense. Harbaugh fell in love with Kaepernick's dynamic and unpredictability and threw him in there when Smith went down with the concussion. Do not forget thst Smith led the league in passing rating until that point. Alex also held his own against the Saints when they went head hunting as well as the Giants. He got the shafts at the end of his run, but it was something we all saw coming. We all know ew at the start of the season that Kaepernick was going to take over the next year.

This is precisely why I jumped at Cedric's brainbuster against Ibushi. A death nail thst should have been a pinfall. A move so rare these days that the first glimpse of it looks like certain death for the opponent. -

Bret's contract he signed in 96 to return to the WWF was for 1m/year... and they couldn't afford that a year later. The money these guys make these days is unreal compared to 20 years ago... and these guys can barely put a match together. -
There's more to getting a second chance than getting on the field. You have to earn that shot at getting on the field, and Kaepernick's apathetic behavior and lack of leadership is a big reason why he opted for season ending surgery last season instead of waiting for Gabbert to fall on his face. He quit on the team and they haven't forgotten that.

As someone who lived in the bay area: Kaepernick started to regress in 2013. We all saw it and figured working with the QB guru that is Harbaugh would fix things in the offseason. What we got instead in 2014 was a complete regression that saw everyone blamed for Kaepernick not improvung. Mark Roman was blamed for the play calling, Harbaugh was blamed for losing the team, and Kaepernick was partially blamed for not being a leader. Out goes Harbaugh and Co after 2014 and in comes Plumber Jim. The 49ers window was sealed shut with the retirements of Willis, Cowboy, and the rookie. This does not excuse the 49ers for completely falling apart as they have because it all falls on "Super Dave" Baalke and The Boy Wonder who let their egos get in the way of success. That 49er squad was built by McClonough (sp?) And fine tuned by Harbaugh. Baalke open to use those draft hauls he had for projects and injured players that all cropped out.

I also like Swagger, but feel that he needs a rework. I don't think I've heard him utter a word in the last 2 years. He also needs to get away from The Patriot Lock because he just comes across as a poor man's Angle clone in doing so. With his amateur background I've always expected him to be more like Gable, but with power and size.- 89 replies

I'm pulling the hardest for Bo to make it out of the C Shows. I do like Swagger, but Bo has that infectious smile and demeanor that makes me pull for him.- 89 replies
