  1. I don't see how anyone suggesting they make an angle of the Darren Young situation doesn't see what an unfathomably stupid idea that is - WWE audiences chant along with Zeb Colter's catchphrase. Are you people insane? (Cue another unnecessary BigFresh non-response. You gnash them teeth, brother. We see you.)
  2. The washrag conversation was by far the best moment the PTPs have had so far. I see no reason to change up their gimmick at all - it's not like they show them on TV swimming in a sea of women every week, or ever that I can recall. It would be a terrible idea to make an angle out of this at all, and would ruin the great way WWE has handled this so far.
  3. I'm not as high/low on CM Punk as everyone else, but you are clearly incorrect about this. I don't know that this actually happened, and considering the source, I'd bet it didn't.
  4. I forgot to mention how much I've been digging Autre Ne Veut's Anxiety.
  5. FOR FUCK'S SAKE, JAE, IT'S AN UPPER BODY BUSINESS
  6. http://youtu.be/5BPWDN_pjSo I had no idea the Mulkeys worked in WWF.
  7. I don't remember "assume 9 guys will refuse to submit" being part of the hypothetical situation. Booker never reached the level of most of the WCW main eventers, and he certainly was nowhere near it during the MNW.
  8. I love how Nash is the one that was called into question when Booker was a midcarder for the duration of the Monday Night Wars. Uh, Flair? Piper? Luger? Giant? You could assemble an entirely new team of people that belong there more than Booker.
  9. Who's the ring equivalent of hipster Batista? There isn't one, because hipster Batista does not exist.
  10. 1. Does that guy have the MTV logo tattooed on the side of his neck, and the BET logo tattooed on his chest? 2. Am I really being unreasonable when I refuse to ever listen to his music as a result?
  11. Yes, because quite honestly Cena/Bryan is a match I give a fuck about right now and The Shield can fuck right off with their irrelevant titles and go fight a reunited Awesome Truth on the pre-show. Get those jokers I give no fucks about out of my main event at Summerslam build. So, bore the general audience to death to convince them to order the PPV that you already plan to order? Give this man the book.
  12. Never heard the Foley story, but Vader was apparently supposed to move out of the way of a top rope elbow and didn't, so Shawn stopped mid-move and yelled "MOVE!" Shawn never needed to protect his spot once he got it. He was generally pissy in the 90's.
  13. What face momentum? He didn't do anything to turn at MITB. There is not a single reason that we have been given to cheer him. He even still has the stache.
  14. Pretty clearly a tainted loss to build up to Dolph/Kaitlyn-AJ/Big E, and a way to build The Shield back up after they've been an afterthought over the last couple of months. What would have been a more appropriate ending? Cena in the ring while Bryan poses on the ramp saying "YES" and an unnaturally long staredown? I'd bet on Ricardo crawling back and them slow-burning the Virgil turn. I feel like a Ricardo/Santino team would be gold, but I have no idea where Santino is at this point. My thoughts: Stephanie McMahon is the least sympathetic person that has ever appeared on WWE television. FINALLY getting the people Heyman manages together as some sort of functioning unit was long overdue, and that promo was gold, Jerry. Axel looks 500% more credible standing there with Brock, and considering how ham-handedly they've been trying to get him over all summer, it would have been much easier to do that from the start. I felt like Tons of Funk got way too much offense in on the Wyatt Family, especially considering the length of the match. What the *hell* is the point of what they are doing with Christian? He got a jobber intro and everything. The setup for RVD-Del Rio was done two weeks ago, and now they seem to be setting up a Triple Threat, a match they should be constantly avoiding at all costs. This way, it's set up so nobody believes either Christian or RVD will beat Del Rio, the buildup is clumsy and nonsensical, and the match gets to be even more heatless than every Del Rio match. Which is *very* heatless. Throwing every wrestler you can on the show does not make us care about them. Still have yet to be given a single reason to cheer Cody Rhodes, and it's evident. The Layla promo about her turn didn't make a lot of sense. "ALL the divas better watch out, because I want all the attention!" So she holds hands with the Divas champion, who gets the most attention and has the title...okay. Would everyone shitting on the Dolph/Kaitlyn-AJ/Big E feud rather be watching more of the Dolph-Del RIo holding pattern feud? Isn't this what we've been calling for since Wrestlemania? Kofi was coming off an injury, so it makes sense that he looks smaller, but imagine if he was still in the trunks. The long pants are a vast improvement, and the majority of the roster really needs new gear that isn't trunks. Really only the following active WWE wrestlers should keep the trunks: Orton, Bryan, Cesaro, Cody, Otunga, Titus, Big Zeke, and *maybe* Barrett. Everyone else switching it up to singlets/shorts/long pants would do a great deal to help the generic look of nearly everyone.
  15. I don't think the two are mutually exclusive. There's a lot more pop in punk rock than a lot of punks would like to admit.
  16. Spoken like someone who didn't read his New X-Men run, in which he shit on basically everything that came before him. Also count me among the people that ran from DC after Final Crisis. ETA: Really, as an X-Men fanboy, I could write Morrison off for what he did to Magneto alone.
  17. Only if you want to book a meaningless one-week title reign via the Destination X stips, which really isn't necessary to do. There isn't going to be an X Division wrestler each year that deserves to be elevated to that level. But even if you had to have an X Division guy beat Bully, the Aries/Suicide angle was right there, and shockingly well done.
  18. Styles, Aries, Storm, Angle, Park, Samoa Joe
  19. They don't - and neither do credible World champions. I demand Sabin vs. Miz for 1st Round of March Madness
  20. There's just nothing there. He's just "generic X-Division dude" like so many indie wrestlers over the past decade. Out of the 10+ years of TNA's X-Division, you named *four* workers that broke out into the main event. Out of how many that have wrestled in the X-Division? Hundreds?
  21. Could you explain what you mean by this? Because to me he embodies a cardboard cutout. Would you make anyone that has stood out in the X Division a World champion? They're relegated to that division for a reason. Billy Kidman was a standout Cruiserweight in WCW and it would have been a disaster if he'd won the World title. ETA: I also feel that because his character is so overexposed and irritating that people underrate Miz's ring work.
