So I bought the blu-Ray version of the Jerry Lawler DVD and just watched the documentary portion. If you describe a documentary as a starter set then this one is it. Except for his beginnings and the Andy Kaufman feud don't expect much about the Memphis. I assume it is blu-ray exclusive but barely anything about Jimmy Hart except how they first met before wrestling. Guess the only interesting thing was a really poor quality 1974 NWA title match against Jack brisco that they showed a little of. Most of his WWE stuff was about his announcing. They did go into good detail from the TLC match with the Miz to his heart attack. If you haven't seen all of that footage it is tough to watch but extremely detailed. For the average wrestling fan it is a fine DVD but other than that it is very flat. Hopefully some really good stuff on the blu-ray exclusives. There are hundreds of places to get better history and matches of the King. Hell one person has a comp set of Lawler that might actually be 100 discs Wait for the documentary on the Network

So from reading the spoilers and watching Unstoppable, it seems like Eva Marie is coming back to the ring soon. From the looks of it the crowd at Full Sail has been brutal to her when she tried the promo. Listen I understand that Eva Marie is easily the worst Divas in WWE history in terms of actual wrestling. But it sounds like she is actually trying to get better as she has training lots with Brian Kendrick. Even if we see a dramatic improvement (hell any improvement is dramatic for her), it is clear this crowd isn't going to her a chance. As much as I love the NXT product, the NXT fans at Full Sail lately are really doing everything in their power to hurt it. But I guess this what we should expect when Triple H tells you that NXT isn't a developmental anymore

When Carmella turned down Blake and Murphy, Bliss went up to her and said she needed to show some class 3. I watched "1971" on PBS from their Independent Lens series. It is a documentary about the break-in of an FBI regional center in Media, PA by some civil rights activists uncovering classified footage from the FBI that they were covering up violations of the First Amendment on many groups/people especially Martin Luther King Jr. This lead to the exposure of the COINTELPRO program and the investigations where the shit really hit the fan. Really amazing that breaking into an FBI office (granted a regional one) with relative ease and the issue with whether to use the information that was obviously illegal

If you don't care about finishes then this show was for you because most of the finishes were questionable at best but the action leading up to it was great. Actually the finish to the main event was the better finish in my opinion. I like that even though Rollins is a slimy weasel he is actually getting the wins. Maybe because I was expecting an awful finish in the 4 way I enjoyed it. So now Russev starts his progression to being Marc Mero II and Lana becomes a much more attractive/intelligent version of Sable New Day are great heels. I doubt that was the original plan of the team but great that it turned the way it did Say it once say it a million times, I wish they would have booked Daniel Bryan as a champion better than Daniel Bryan with his career in jeopardy.
