  1. How many firsts on top of this years is Houston including?
  2. I’ve decided I’m making this play through a bit of a challenge run: no Spectre grade weapons. Makes the game a tad more challenging, to make up for the fact I’m an Infiltrator also about to use a Shotgun and Assault Rifle. It’s actually fun playing with guns with some variety; honestly. I like the High Shots before overheat Sniper Rifles.
  3. Just finished Noveria, am currently at Level 23. The Legendary Edition leveling has really shown how much of a joke the original leveling system is, there was no reason to make you go up to level 70.
  4. Samoa Joe still has that "it" in the way hardly anyone else does. He's such a joy to watch he raises a show he's on even when he's not wrestling.
  5. Same with me. It is, by far, the easiest solo character. Barrier on all the time, Charge into a group, go to town with a Reegar, Claymore, or Piranha. If you draw Cerberus it’s as good as you can get with only the damn stunning enemies giving you problems, and Cerberus your Charge is generally powerful enough to stun Phantoms when the game doesn’t bug on you, which means you can usually take them out faster then almost character in the game. Literally no need to even put points in Carnage, either. Kroguards are a total joy.
  6. The Vanguard one is hard to screw up. I don’t find the Cerberus Vanguard super interesting, and the Cabal is a bastard of a play when you aren’t hosting, but the Base Human, Adair, Drell, and Slayer all rule, the Kroguard is almost impossible to kill unless you get synchro, and the Batarian Brawler is arguably the most fun Melee character in the game. Vanguards rule.
  7. “Hey Daniel, you’ve seen a lot of interesting games at e3 this year, are there any your excited for?” Me: THIS ONE THIS ONE THIS ONE This game couldn’t be any more up my alley if it tried
  8. The most shocking face turn in wrestling history, even if it is only for like a week.
  9. Things I'm discovering today: The AT-Raider sure is pretty meh, but I really need to figure out the last two shotguns I'm going to get my Shotgun Mastery, I've already finished Eviscerator, Crusador, Piranha, Claymore, Reegar, and Graal, I don't have the Wraith, Geth Plasma, or Venom yet, so it's either the Raider and either the Katana, Scimatar, or Disciple, and the Raider seems the best of bad options.
  10. Give me a Suns/Jazz conference final. Would be amazing basketball and ratings poison, which would also amuse me.
  11. I'm not sure they could actually get the job done, but the Suns would be such a perfect champion to offset the bullshit super teams of the NBA gambit. They feel like a cross between the 2011 Mavericks and 2004 Pistons. Home grown team of players who people have always sold as "Not a playoff player" like Booker, a top pick in Ayton man are already talking about being a complete mistake to take over the guy who went 3 (Which, to be fair, I could buy the argument), and then they bring in the classic "Elite Player with an easy HOF career who has never won an NBA title and has always been a "Can't win the big" type in Paul. Add in Bridges becoming a really interesting player and this is a super fun team to follow. Not sure how far they can get, but they are my rooting interest the rest of the way.
  12. Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer notes because this is kind of funny. Shoutout to CePeeLe, the first ever player to break 1,000,000 Challenge Points on Xbox. He currently sits on 1,024,175 challenge points, and has gotten the following challenges done the following amount of times. Spectre Mastery: 66 times. Biotic Mastery: 183 times Tech Mastery: 1,338 times Assault Rifle Mastery: 113 times SMG Mastery: 303 times Reaper Mastery: 170 times. Total Games Played: 29,872 Time Played: 8,963 hours and 36 minutes (That adds up to 373 days. They have literally played over a year of Mass Effect Multiplayer) Total Number of Times getting Mass Effect, the all compensating Challenge: Zero. They have never finished Map Mastery. The only map they have even done 100 waves on Gold is Firebase Giant.
  13. My last 2 packs I've maxed out a couple gears and, finally, pulled in the Black Widow 1, god bless.
  14. Now that I am back to the Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer grind (And GOD it feels good), I'm back to keeping track of how many hits I need in packs to max out my all my characters, weapons, and gears. I'm looking at... Characters: 49 Drops, 2 complete characters (N7 Paladin, Volus Protector) Gear: 63 drops, 2 complete gears (Batarian Gauntlet, Commando Package) Weapon Mods, 84 drops, 3 entire sets (Sniper Rifle High Velocity, Assault Rifle High Velocity, Sniper Rifle Ultralight Materials) Weapons (oh boy): 159 Gold Drops, 188 Platinum Drops, 347 total drops (Eeesh), 7 Entire Weapon Sets (M-37 Falcon, Cerberus Harrier, M-77 Paladin, M-11 Wraith, Venom Shotgun, Javelin, Black Widow) Total things I need: 553. I don't know why I typed this out, it just depresses me, but screw it.
  15. I’ve been kind of low on Mass Effect stuff lately due to my account being fucked and not being able to play ME3 multiplayer. Mass Effect 1 has its strengths but it’s just hard for me personally to get through. So I decided to lament the fact that changing my name on Xbox meant that I haven’t been able to log into Mass Effect 3 multiplayer and looked into my old n7 account, upset I’d be letting 265 hours of my life go. And then I clicked my account name and there was a little thing that said “oh your account name has changed! Click this button to realign your account so you can play again!” 9 damned months of no multiplayer. All undid with a button. Guess what I’m doing when I get home
  16. Absolutely, yes. They are the best team in hockey by an insane amount.
  17. This is random, but I found this video when looking through Mass Effect multiplayer stuff that perfectly explains why me, Rippa, and J.T. will love Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer, and hopefully sell everyone else to give it a significant shot
  18. That is, without question, the dumbest play I've ever seen. 2 outs in the inning. Baez scored on a bloop single afterwards.
  19. Me, J.T., and Rippa will be so excited and then we will play with each other a few times and me and J.T. will argue everyday just like it was 6-7 years ago.
  20. It does, but only partially. Thresher Maws now spit multiple things at you every time they attack, and when they go underground they raise tendrils around that damage you if you get too close to them, and then they specifically charge directly AT you. They also go underground if you are not moving, which they didn't used to do at all. It's not an impossible fight but it is significantly harder then it used to be.
  21. OH GOD OH FUCK MY OLD CHEESING WAY OF DEALING WITH THRESHER MAWS DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE OH FUCK OH FUCK.
  22. This is how you can tell me and Rippa know this game way too well: We both realized they lowered the total to search for, and had the mission completed before we ever made it back to the Normany.
  23. After a quick swap of my Xbox's location to New Zealand, I'm up and running baby!
