Right while he was in the middle of the "I needed to know if you had the fire, the hate you need against Braun", I fully expected Sami to punch or slap the shit out of him. Replying, "Even when you say you believe in me, you don't. I'm beating Braun Strowman and then you're trading me." But as Phil said, it's clear the reaction they were expecting was "NOOOO! Don't trade him!", not the one they got.

Congrats on the New Day beating Demolition's record. Or at least it looked like it, we only caught half the pin. I also cannot speak the words to say how much I hated Mick Foley "building up" Sami Zayn. Patronizing bullshit.

Strangely, Dolphins-Pats may be on that list too. Miami could be fighting for its first playoff spot in nearly a decade and NE would be a rather big hurdle for them to climb, if necessary. I mean, I'm sure it's going to be NY/Washington or Denver/Oakland, but weirder things...

But from the moment you saw a suit get destroyed and saw Tony not be in it, you knew Tony would never be in actual harm's way. This is a fundamental flaw in storytelling. (And I'm not even getting into the self-regenerating thing that is a blatant deus ex thing so no one who matters gets hurt.) He has zero consequences for what he chooses or doesn't choose to do. So his character's arc is meaningless. The Mandarin being inconsequential is a humongous problem. It would be like making a Batman movie where The Joker isn't his equal. He is THE Iron Man villain. He's the one that's supposed to ruin Tony's life in a way that's never been done (magic defeating technology). But instead, we got an actor pretending to be The Mandarin (who, not insignificantly, is SIR BEN KINGSLEY -- a man that can act circles around anyone else in this movie). We get that second act with him and the SUPER annoying kid trying to tell us, oh yeah, this Mandarin guy blew up everything. And finally, that horrifically shot & edited fight scene between the absolutely awful Guy Pierce fighting 20 suits. In short, fuck Iron Man 3. It is easily the worst of the MCU movies.

Just caught up. Holy fuck, what a great show. The Maeve storyline was great. Especially with her getting her "free will" completely fucked with by being told she's following a new narrative. And us getting trolled by her getting off the train. And there is no proof she broke programming getting off. They specifically force you to doubt her consciousness. I called Bernard being a robot somewhere around episode 2 or 3. Wasn't positive though. It is interesting that he has basically reached the point that broke Arnold as a man. I audibly gasped when he said, "That doesn't look like anything to me." William = Man in Black made me very happy. I actually started humming a little Will Smith. I'm wondering if Logan is coming back in the future. I'm fully on board with the "if it doesn't happen on screen, it didn't happen" camp. I can't get enough of James Marsden's stupid "I just got shot" confused face. One, sort of obvious (if you know the translation) element of the show is Dolores. Dolores is the Spanish word for "pains" or "suffering". I am going to go out on a limb and put a couple of things together and say, no Host is actually "conscious" but her. Her shooting Ford is her claiming her consciousness. (and OMG, TREVOR IS A HOST! I hope Steven Ogg gets more of a role next season.)

The Marlins signed AJ Ellis and Jeff Locke. I'm reading they essentially are looking for bargain basement scrap with some potential, sticking it in front of a world-class defense and hoping he wins 12-15. This seems like the definition of Locke. I'm expecting him to be DFA'ed by June 15. Also, Loria has greenlit the front office spending actual $$ to get a top-tier closer. They're 'one of the finalists' for Chapman or Jansen (with the Yanks, Nats, and Dodgers). Apparently Chapman has a $92M offer also, but it's not believed to be from NY or Miami.

My guess is Hackenberg's limits are 'competent back-up'. They essentially have to kick the tires on Petty and see what they've got. If/when he fails, they know they have to go all in on the DeShone Kizer sweepstakes.
