I was at the June Gulf South Wrestling show that was suppose to be the first match of Bullet's retirement tour,He wasn't there cause of what I was later told was a leg infection. Then the next day hit the Wrestle Birmingham show,which Bullet was suppose to be at. But he wasn't there. It was Tracy Smothers that told me Bullet had an infection.

Since I live 20 minutes outside the nearest town I can never do delivery,even when I have offered a 20 buck tip to the delivery driver. But at my lady's place she can get delivery.So normally we tip a bit under half what the meal cost us. For buffets I will drop 2 bucks per person at the table. Went to the good Chinese place in town,we have 3,and it was 3 of us so I left 6 bucks for the waiter. For non-buffets I will tip around 25 to 30 percent depending on the service. For me good service is as long as the waiter/waitress comes around one time during the meal and refills out drink I will do 30%. If they never come around it is gonna be 25%. Since there is no bars in the county I live in,and I pretty much quit drinking 5 years ago,I have no idea what I would tip now for drinks. About 5 months ago we had two recliners and a new mattress delivered from town. I use to do home health care for the owner of the place. Gave the two guys that came out 25 each for not only bringing in the new stuff,but also moving the old stuff and putting it in the bed of the truck.

After searching for them for years,about 4 years ago I found one of the Lone Wolf books at the sadly now closed used bookstore.It lived up to 20 years of wanting to read them.

Gave the album a listen the other day... and yea for me after Burton died Metallica went from being a great metal band to being a band that does good covers and that is it.Add in that James voice keeps losing it power every year. I don't know if I outgrew Metallica or the change in sound once Burton was gone is what made me stop being a huge fan of them.

The guy with the belt is the first and only Last Rites Championship Wrestling Extreme champion Max Maverick. The belt was a old weightlifting belt the owner of Last Rites had. Then he covered it with car decals.

Never heard of this film before. So when I found the VHS for 25 cents I had to grab it. Thought Lorenzo Llamas on the cover,but it isn't him. The plot is pretty much a low budget Children of men. But made years before that film. No idea if this has a DVD release. But Showtime seems to show it at least every other month.

Only read one off those lists. The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay by Michael Chabon Had heard great stuff about it so checked it out from the local library.Damn good book.

Championship Wrestling is a MS based fed that runs the north part of the state. Mostly using a nice mix of modern Memphis and Memphis Legends. Pure Destruction suck. Since I know the modern AL/MS/LA indy stuff rarely gets any talk online. Here is a fun match from Elev8 Pros first show,which they co-ran with the MS based fed Pro Wrestling EGO. All 4 guys in the match are good. With Lucha Locura being the best. Alex Cruz is a former Wildkat Sports talent. That left and now is running Elev8 Pro.

MPW is a sister fed to Wildkat Sports. But MPW only runs military bases and has maybe 4 shows a year. I was suppose to ride out to this show. But my ride backed out once he realized it was gonna be a day and a half minimum in the car. From last month which was the second Elev8 Pro show. The main event of Pentagon Jr vs Steve Anthony. Was a blast hours before the show started watching them two work out the match when neither spoke much of each others native tongue.

See I started reading Uncanny with 129,what ever issue was the first appearance of Kitty Pryde,and got it every month from then till 300. X-factor I read the first 2 years of. THe only spinoff X-titles I read for more than say 24 issues was Excalibur and New Mutants.

For me the Mutant Massacre was the beginning of the end for the X-titles. I did stick around reading Uncanny until issue 300. But really lots of the time after the Mutant Massacre I would let the books built up until the stack was about to fall over. Then read them all over a weekend.

Like 6 or so years ago I got in volumes 5 thru 10 of the Dark Horse Savage Sword of Conan Archives. Just started vol 8 the other day. And it quickly replaced a 10 year old Overstreet guide as my bathroom reading material.

I see WWE signing Keith Lee in the next year or so. Doubt they sign Taylor,mostly cause he has a very odd shape to his body.

For me the best current tag team is a tie between War Machine and Pretty Boy Killers AKA Shane Taylor and Keith Lee. Now I am a bit biased since over the past year gotten to know Keith and Shane pretty well. So damn happy they are getting some attention finally.

At least when ACH was under contract to ROH he worked for most of the bigger TX indies. So seems they can take bookings in the US as long as it doesn't conflict with ROH stuff.

It is odd I have noticed in my right at 20 years online that online comic fans and the ones I talk to at the local comic shop have so very very different tastes. The LCS the guys like Millar and almost all his stuff.But online I see him getting so much hate. Nemesis was a fun idea that kind of got hampered by a meh ending. And it felt like a movie pitch made into a comic mini series.
