I have no idea what to expect from this Bama/Florida game. Both teams have so many question marks, I'm not sure we have any idea who they really are yet. Amari Cooper has been transcendent through the first 3 games, but obviously that hasn't been against the caliber of athlete that Florida has. Now that Blake Sims has settled in at QB and we're into the games that actually matter, I wonder if they let him off the leash and bring in more option stuff. Saban's willingness to embrace running the QB could be the difference in this game, and maybe the rest of the season, because I'm not sold on this OL being dominant enough to run the ball against better teams without it.

So now it seems Jameis is suspended for the WHOLE GAME. Apparently this is the year of "Oh my bad! I meant to say..." suspensions in football as a whole, not just the NFL.

I think it's very smart. Gives creative people more freedom to tell the stories they want to tell without having to clear it through layers of studio bureaucracy ("What's that? You want to use Captain Boomerang? Sorry, we've already planned for him to be a villain in Untitled DC Event Film in 2017. Find somebody else.").

Show is good, ratings are bad. Showrunner didn't sound very optimistic about the future in an interview with Sepinwall.

If only KState didn't somehow have a QB who was a WORSE passer than Nick Marshall.

Well, it's about time KState decided to get on the scoreboard. Auburn has done everything in their power to spot them a 20-point lead, but it's only 7-3 now.

I feel like Deadpool is one of those less well-known characters that could blow up huge if done right in a movie. Hopefully they don't bring back Ryan Reynolds. That dude is box office poison these days. Or at least, go the DREDD route and make him wear the mask the whole movie.

NO. Tabe worked through his problems with the early episodes and watched the whole series, ultimately giving it a 7 out of 10. Naturally. That's what inspired my "On a scale of 7 to 7..." quip which Piranesi promptly bastardized into the Tabedoza line and has shamelessly exploited ever since. It was a board landmark moment. A meme was born.

Oh, yeah, AMC is heading toward shit, too, but at least their big, dumb horror show is the biggest thing going on TV that isn't the NFL, as opposed to THE STRAIN which, to this point, has been a solid double, at best. And they can at least hang their hat on prospect of the Saul Goodman show for the time being. That's something they have to look forward to. Good shout on FX having a strong comedy slate, though. Would definitely take ARCHER, SUNNY and LEAGUE (so they're on FXX...I'll still count 'em.), and even this new YOU'RE THE WORST show, over AMC's zillion bizarre reality shows.

HD remake of a PSP game. Set in whatever they call the FFXIII universe. Plays like Crisis Core, whatever that means.

There is only one thing for them to do: Pick up HANNIBAL after it's inevitably canceled by NBC after this season.

DEAR GOD. FX has renewed TYRANT for season 2, and upped the episode count to 13. So SONS OF ANARCHY and JUSTIFIED are wrapping up over the next 8 months. THE BRIDGE is likely going to be canceled. THE AMERICANS probably will be, too, after next next season, if the ratings don't improve. The future of FX is TYRANT and THE STRAIN. AMC laughs at that.

I finally restarted LIGHTNING RETURNS for lack of anything else to play at the moment, and you know what? It really is a much better game on Easy mode. It's so much more fun to play when every common enemy battle isn't a life or death struggle, and your HP regenerates on the world map so you don't have to run for your life to a store after every battle (so you can actually save your gil to buy OTHER stuff), and even when a fight does get hairy, you can actually escape without losing a precious hour.

Really? I hadn't picked up on that.

I vote we douse Fowler's opinions in lime and board them up in a vacant building. WHO'S WITH ME?

And, hey, there's a Top 25 matchup tonight! I feel like Auburn is going to boatrace KState, but it's always nice to have a meaningful game on Thursday. Should be fun to watch for a couple of quarters anyway.
