  1. Yeah, I'm about as big a Flair fan as there is but he's insufferable and just awful on the few Roundtables he did. I'd be saying to the TV, "Dude, I love ya, please shut the fuck up."
  2. I wish there was footage of the backstage meeting where someone fell asleep on the taping day. Cause that Bad News Barrett bit was some sort of rib on someone who fell asleep in a meeting. Cole and JBL said "Hey that sleeping during a meeting is getting around" "What kind of an idiot falls asleep in a meeting?" "Someone who was out on Beale Street till morning?" Hahaha, I wonder who it was? My money is on Micheal Hayes.
  3. A soul crushing examination of Baltimore and the drug war pretty much kills stupid fucking Vampires with cute chicks and bad jokes.
  4. Why would being a tag guy make them somehow "less" than a singles guy? This whole popularity contest deal is full of guys working lots of different styles. Why is tag style being looked at by some as not as good as singles? If this was going on in 1986 would Morton or Eaton not be as awesome as singles guys?
  5. Just a heads up, Fowler. Meadow doesn't become the hero.
  6. I can't believe any of you are falling for FSW's "I HATES THEM NEW INDY CRED NOT ROCK TATTOOS KID ROCK BIG GUY" bait. For Christ's sake he actually said something as amazingly dumb as "Austin got over by feuding with the Rock" as a clue that he's doing his schtick.
  7. That's called being a bad guy/ gal who's playing the role the internet has created for her.
  8. It's nice to see the Bashems have jobs as ineffective security.
  9. Tony Soprano and Walter White weren't Anti-Heroes. They were straight up bad people. Whether or not you enjoy watching them is irrelevant. You don't need a "hero" to have a TV show or movie. I'd say Dirty Harry would qualify as an Anti Hero. In comics, The Punisher as well.
  10. They talked about it. It's a T shirt you can buy at Graceland that's an homage to this:
  11. I can understand any of them not wanting to say outright that Shawn was so zonked out on Somas at the time that he doesn't recall specific conversations and pussyfooting around that point. Shawn himself says he was zonked out on pills and a giant pain in the ass at the time.
  12. No need they are accomplishing that already. They are adults that idolize other adults and want to hijack a kids show. What is odd is people treating this like it is normal adult behavior. People doing it would be the first ones to mock someone that shows up at icecapades chanting for Brian Boitano. How can a show whose viewers have a median age of 38 be considered a kids show? By all the kids in the crowd, the toys in every major store, that it's not Downton Abbey but fucking wrestling. It's a kid's show that a lot of people hang onto after falling in love with it as kids. Because it's awesome. I love Pixar and Disney cartoons as an adult, but they're aimed at kids.
  13. Ric Flair as the biggest dick Little League parent is great.
  14. God fucking damn, was that a great wrestling TV show.
  15. This is less about Foley than it is FSW fearing he's gonna turn into his Uncle.
  16. Man, I can rewatch "Glory" over and over. "Give 'em Hell, 54th!" always makes me cheer.
  17. You should listen to the Nerdist podcast he does. He's a total sci fi , pop culture , comic book, Trek, dude who also has stand up cred and all the best comics come on the show.
  18. "Let me tell you why something I didn't watch sucks" is the worst. Yechh.
  19. Jake held belts in Mid South , World class, and Florida. All of which were major promotions at the time.
  20. Except the match and feud does stem from something specific and purposeful: Sheamus accidentally hit Christian in a tag match leading up to EC. Christian believed it to be intentional and felt slighted and has since decided to try and take escalating steps toward revenge culminating in a vicious and unprovoked back stage attack. It's a storyline based out of in ring action backed up by simple, black and white character work. The story is do basic that even Cole and Lawler were able to articulate it on Monday. It doesn't need a prop or anything, it has worked on its own literally thousands of times for decades now. Again, this sort of storytelling is what people would claim they want more of if you polled the same audience that wouldn't give the match the time of day a few nights ago. Most of that happened on Smackdown, so you can understand why people are forgetting about it. Joking aside, that drives me nuts when people ACTUALLY say "Oh well, it happened on a show I didn't watch so I'm still right about bitching about not knowing the story."If Days of Our Lives aired twice a week and you only watched one , you'd be considered insane if you bitched about not knowing about stuff that was on the show you didn't watch.
  21. FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT.Fuck off, Grease rules. It's the word. The word that you heard .
  22. Joe Frazier didn't ref the other matches. The point was Frazier didn't know how to properly ref regarding cuts in a wrestling match. It was a shitty idea and a shitty finish, but that's what they were going for.

It's classic heel reasoning.
