I figured that was the argument, but I can buy the scavagening/crafting system of being a byproduct of running around in ships and bases that are over 200 years old. Yeah, the ammo annoyed me, but its a side effect of craftable weapons. I can also buy the perfect gun (I say with my awesome knockback rivet gun with underslung plasma cutter) being a complaint. But at this point, its your 3rd run in, Issac would get used to this, and get better. It being what killed the game? Nah, I'm still having fun with it. Shit, the first 4 Resident Evil games were effectivly the same game until RE4 changed the engine, then 4, 5, and 6 were effectively the same game.

Man, the way Janney's character just sat there staring blankly while Fitz was laughing his ass off at an old war movie was soul-sucking, as well as the way she just unemotionally says "bye" to the kid when he says he's running away, like she can't pull up the emotion to be sad about it, but knows that him running away is the best thing that could happen to him.

It seems like then they made Gotham, they focused on the critisism of SHIELD that it didn't have enough Marvelverse stuff in it and focused only on that, and thought that since Arrow was successful, they can load up on DCverse stuff and it'll be awesome. Its not. It's forced in there, the timelines make no sense, since by the time Bruce becomes Batman, all the villians they're tossing out there now will be too damn old to be a serious threat (yeah, Penguin in his 50's/60's is the norm because he's a mob boss, but Riddler, Joker, Pyg, all them in their late 40's/early 50's by the time Batman rolls around?) Not fond of Selina being older than Bruce either. Its a good premise though that can work, but this is FOX, they have a notorously short leash when it comes to new shows, and if it doesn't sustain an audience long enough to correct in the back half of the season, its not going to be able to.

So, I'm a pretty good way into Dead Space 3. I'm not seeing what everyone's problem with it was.

Well, considering Wrestle Kingdom's Main is gonna be Styles vs Okada, it makes sense for Jarrett to promote it on PPV in the States. Stream is awesome and all, but if I can get a broadcast signal in HD for about the same price, I could go for that.

Except that Spacey's character's "make him happy" was working a drive through window, smoking pot, and lifting weights to make him more appealing so he can attempt to fuck his teenage daughter's friend. I'd call that regressing. Peter got out of his dead end career he hated, found something he found personally worthwhile that he could live off of, and ended up in a healthy relationship with a girl that valued him. Peter had it better. Like every other college film geek, I thought it was awesome when it came out, and when we watched it in Film class as some awesome thing. But years later, it doesn't hold up. So, I finally forayed into ME3 Multiplayer. Assassination on Firebase Hydra at Bronze level. I got matched with 3 level 20's, who all commented on my Level 1 Solider self entering, with some sighing and groaning. I was getting congradulated at the end and told I was quite competent since I lived through the whole thing, only needed reviving once, revived a teammate, got plenty of assists, (I generally kept my head down in the Comms tower and shot things from cover, and meleeing everything that got close to me) and did my job at the end apparently getting them their first Full Extration of the night. I might do this again.

Its not that Sandberg is that bad of a coach, he's not. He made the right decisions at the right times. Its that that clubhouse and GM/Ownership is that bad.

Looking at how the Yanks looked toward the end of that injury ravaged year, knowing how much they're on the hook for with CC, Tex, A-Rod, Beltran, and Ellsbury, the shambles the current infield looks to be, the outfield not looking much better unless everyone's healthy, and how un-stocked the farm is, I'm almost ok with getting a new GM, but then again, its not like there's any GM out there that sets the world on fire as a great choice. But there are some fucking HUGE holes to fill in the Bronx. We're not quite at 80's level of futility yet, but next year could be the real turning point.

So yeah, that one scene was pretty horrifically violent (course, CrunchyRoll censored it, I think), couldn't see the bad stuff, but I could guess. I'm gonna guess that it gets worse when the roaches get involved. Comments section of Ep 1 was already starting a dead pool. I'm also gonna take a flyer on that it was censored because that first fight was a bear. Its gonna be annoying if they do that with every instance. I don't remember them editing Titan like that.

DSL is distance specific. It has a range of 5 cable miles from a main switch. Closer to the switch, the better your speeds (it degrades over distance). Its the limitation of the medium, the old 4 pair copper can only go so far on that band. So while if you're pretty close to the center, you'll get 4-5 Mbps, which for most stuff, is actually pretty decent. Further you go, worse it gets until it gets to dial-up speeds come 3.5-4 cable miles or so.

So, Giant Cockroaches eat people instead of super suited zombies. I can dig.

I was going to ask "how the hell do Comcast and company still have any customers?" Then I realized not everybody downloads a shit tonne of wrestling every month, streams the Network, and watches Netflix. Still, if given the choice, why wouldn't you go with Verizon or AT&T? There's a trade off. One reason is that Verizon and AT&T aren't available everywhere. Lot of homeowners associations, apartment complexes/buildings, townships, etc have sweetheart deals with the local cable guys and won't allow the other guys to run the cable (Verizon requires a fiber to coax media converter somewhere on the property as it runs fiber right to the house), and it costs to dig the cable trenches, so they won't put it in areas that they're allowed unless there's enough interest to make it cost effective. So, they're not wide spread. My old association didn't allow FiOS run to the house (but they did allow the trenches to be run.), so I was stuck with Cablevision. They weren't horrible (they're really good on cutting deals for retention, in fact their CS guys tell you to call them in a year to do a retention deal again) and they did up their 1st tier bandwidth cap to 15/5, which equals Verizon/AT&T's intro tier. My current has FiOS allowed, and local is Comcast, so it wasn't a hard choice. Verizon has me at 50/50 for my bandwidth, and no data cap (which I wanted, considering how much I d/l for PSN, Stream Video, and online game) Verizon's not as good on retention, but they're starting to fight if you say the right thing. Only issue with them is their packages kick up hard after 12 and 24 months (my $150 package will clear $225 next July, but I'll likely get them down to $150 again with a threat to jump to Comcast.)
