  1. Will (Goodhelmet) has a massive Stan Hansen set that covers his whole crater and I really wish I could afford right now. Does he have a website?
  2. I'd love to hear a "You still got it" chant while he's doing his Popeye wind-up punches.
  3. Anyone know where to get aStan Hansen dvd set that has a mix of his American and Japanese stuff? The only ones I can find on google are the Highspots one which is all Japanese and there's one on ebay which is all American stuff.
  4. I drive trucks, break arms, and arm wrestle. It's what I love to do, it's what I do best.
  5. No, Harlem Heat would have taken the titles from Marcus Bagwell and Ryback, then lost them to Marcus Bagwell and Curtis Axel. They would've taped the second title change first, then Bagwell would've gotten injured and replaced with The Patriot so that the first title change could take place.
  6. Virgil hustled me out of $5 at the NWA Legends of Wrestling fanfest in Charlotte a few years ago. I paid $15 for a picture with him. All I had were twenties so I gave him one and he told me he didn't have change. He offered me an autographed picture (really just a crappy printout of a WWF magazine with him and DiBiase on the cover) for $5. Now keep in mind he'd been charging $15 all day and I'd seen people give him fives. I just didn't push the issue however as I considered it an honor to be carnied out of $5 by the Million Dollar Man's lackey. I guess DiBiase is right in that everybody's got a price. Mine just happened to be $5.
  7. Who's Paul Roma? Some ungrateful idiot who performed at Wrestlemania and was a member of the Four Horsemen and still some how is bitter. It's not his fault Flair and Anderson were jealous of his body. They should've just paid Tully what he wanted I can't believe it was THAT unreasonable of a price that you replace him with Paul fucking Roma I thought a failed drug test did Tully in and not money. That being said, there had to be somebody kicking around out there in 1993 that they could've brought in or another young guy on the roster to elevate. It would've robbed us of The Hollywood Blondes but Pillman wasn't doing anything of note that I can recall around that time or Tom Zenk. What was Stan Lane doing back then? He would've fit the demographic pretty well and he had the in of being a Flair trainee (according to wiki anyway).

  9. So would Kendall Windham and Jeff Jarrett be referred to as the Fifth Beatle/Horseman? Associated with members of the group but never fully accepted as a full fledged member?
  10. Because everyone knows that if you're taller than someone, you're clearly tougher as well. It's even clearer when the shorter person is MENG
  11. I could watch the first WarGames and the Sting's Squadron/Dangerous Alliance Wargames matches all day every day. Also, Magnum/Tully is on my desert island list.
  12. Rick Rude's theme makes me want to swivel my hips and call every other male in the vicinity an "inner city sweathog".
  13. Knowing Comcast they'll likely fire that guy.
  14. He's a serious professional. What about Hypnosis, Pyscosis? He's a high flyer of the highest magnitude.
  15. The woman looks like it could be Shelly Martinez.
  16. So much so that we were all having a good time booking an Undertaker Wrestlemania match against Kane where Kane is in the Little Bill role. I didn't know Kane was a really bad carpenter.
  17. Plus it had Michael Rooker eating tainted chocolate pretzels. Instant classic.
  18. Again, thanks for the insight. Very interesting that sometimes it's not so much guys wanting shine (which is what I what would've guessed would've been the biggest problem) and guys just not knowing what to do.
  19. I agree. I thought that was one of Axel's best matches, if not his best. He pulled out a lot of great heel mannerisms. I know he gets the "bland" tag but I think he's a pretty effective midcard heel.
  20. It seems like a lot of guys in the territory days started off as refs and then transitioned into workers ala Bret Hart. I remember seeing a young Jerry Sags as a ref in the AWA. I think Mike Enos was one too.
