But no....that was a ruse, a character like one he plays on TV. It's gross, jock/fraternity boy garbage from a garbage human being that I can't wait to see headlines of his impending death. He essentially gave the woman a false sense of connection by talking about his life then coerced her into sexual acts out of fear of losing her job. And tbh, I don't think we'll ever see Brock Lesnar in a WWE ring after this. Unless they don't care that he's going to get the same reaction Chris Jericho got a few weeks ago ("Kylie Rae" and "NDA" replaced with "Janel Grant" and "NDA"). I'm not sure Brock Lesnar would care either because he has WWE over a barrel. And the video with Stephanie and Vince McMahon....my God, Stephanie was telling the truth. It wasn't a storyline. I also wonder how many in WWE (and by extension TNA and AEW) knew about Vince McMahon's behavior. I think it was an open secret.

Part of me hope this will lead to WWE going to back to TV 14 / more mature storyline era and leave behind TV PG but I should know better. And we all know Roman Reigns will still be WWE Unified Universal Champion in 2025. So maybe he'll move to Raw and Seth Rollins (or whoever the World Champion is) moves to Smackdown.

I guess. Sony really isn't doing as well as people may think despite PS5s selling like gangbusters. Microsoft could buy all of PlayStation from Sony if they want to and still have money left over. Who's to say that's not what they are planning on doing? PlayStation miscalculated buying Bungie, who had to cut staff and delay Destiny 2: The Final Shape. According to the Insomniac hack, Insomniac has to sell over 100 million copies of Spider-Man to stay afloat. If that's the case for Insomniac, imagine what it's like at Sucker Punch or Naughty Dog or Sony Santa Monica. Yes, PlayStation has great single player games that sell millions but they are losing money. They barely sell millions for PC versions too. Microsoft meanwhile doesn't have to do anything. They don't even have to release anything that people have wanted (like Indiana Jones or Hellblade II or Avowed or Fallout 5, etc). They just buy developers and let them sit there and not use them (hence Micro$oft gotta Micro$oft). They have Call of Duty now - so they can just pull it from PlayStation at some point and that would be the death for PlayStation. They can just milk people for GamePass, barely do anything, rely on their Windows and cloud services for revenue, and they are fine. Microsoft is playing chess while PlayStation is struggling with checkers.

This time, I think it's different. He lost his title and I don't think he signed a new deal. It makes too much sense. I can't really see him 'wrestling without a contract' once he's healed up to chase after the AEW World title in 2024. Unless he's doing a one last chance at the title and if he loses, he leaves AEW forever. No, I don't think he'll be on Raw tonight or on Day 1 PPV or even at the Royal Rumble. I'm far from the biggest MJF fan (my post history should tell you that) but I think he should go to the WWE while he has a chance. At the start of 2023, I would have said no. But he at least has a chance to be in the main event for WWE. It just goes down to timing if he is leaving AEW.

MJF did indicate that he doesn't know what the future holds for him after tonight's main event. It doesn't necessarily mean he'll be signed right away to WWE but if there were a way to write off MJF from AEW and he then signs with WWE, this would be it. Tony Khan is not necessarily known for his World champions have more than 2 matches against the same opponent for the title. I think Mania would be too soon now that I think about it. Maybe towards the end of next year / Royal Rumble 2025 would be a safer bet.

I wonder if Venom will be a standalone game a la Spider-Man Miles Morales or Uncharted: Lost Legacy or if it'll be expansion pass DLC for Spider-Man 2. Sucks that Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart didn't sell even though it's a visual showcase for the PS5. Not everything on every system has to break even or have a profit. At least Sony is putting out games vs what Microsoft is doing where they say a game is coming but who knows if it's actually going to be out. By the time 2030 rolls around, I'll be 49 (!). I'm getting too old for this sh*t.

Honestly, Naughty Dog could have passed development to a different studio and let them finish up instead of cancelling it. The way the announcement described it made it seem like it would be a decade long commitment. But oh well. I'm hoping we'll see The Last of Us Part III next year or the new IP they've been working on next year.

What's worse is: 1) there's unskippable cutscenes and 2) no checkpoints for the whole boss fight and 3) you beat the boss but there's second (and/or third/final) form that reups the lifebar/HP of the boss. In addition to the mooks that join the fight.
