Yeah, but I died a few times in that fight before I realised. And then a few more times after, so I kept having to re-assign the points every time we started again. That fight against Tela Vasir was probably the hardest thing so far (although I think fighting the actual Broker himself is going to be harder).

The era in which people cheered for who they were told to, irrespective of how much that person sucked at everything. The Hogan era.

That hasn't been in the books yet, but it happened in a preview chapter for the next book, on GRRM's website. Am I remembering wrong, or did Ned hear voices while he was in jail, back in season 1?

When I loaded up tonight after work (ME2), the game wanted me to agree to some terms and conditions (again?), and I've no idea why. I don't think I even had to agree to them the first time I played it. I'm doing Lair of the Shadow Broker. It's very hard on Insanity. I'd taken Miranda and Thane because I wanted double Overload (with Shep not having it, and lots of shielded opponents) but then at one point Liara joins your party and you have to lose one of the other two, and Liara can't Overload (her Singularity can eat shields up pretty well, but it's not Overload). I forgot that it starts Liara with no points spent and wondered why her powers were so weak and she kept dying. Need to get Jack's loyalty next, then it's off to Tuchanka.

About Jarvis being a computer, I thought Agent Carter made it clear that Edwin Jarvis was the Stark family Butler for a long time, but he was clearly older than Howard Stark, so he may well have been ancient by the time Tony was born*. So the computer was based on him, but it didn't sound exactly like him because he died before Tony could synthesize his voice properly. * Tony is clearly the same age as Downey is IRL, so he was born in 1965. Howard Stark was running around Europe in WW2 when he was what, late 20s at the earliest? So Howard was in his late-40s when Tony was born, and he died in 1991 when he was nearly 70 (and Tony was 25-26). So while it kind of makes sense that Tony and Howard's relationship was strained because Howard couldn't relate due to the age gap, what happened to Howard in the late 40s or 50s that made him into the cold, distant figure Tony remembers him as, instead of the fun loving playboy Dominic Cooper plays him as being? Don't say "He got married". That's cruel.

I think it was basically the steroid thing. He did a lot of press saying the deaths were people from a prior era where they lived the rockstar lifestyle, and wrestlers didn't use drugs any more because of the wellness programme. He only used roids on the indies, and never in WWE. Then he was named in the signature pharma leak.

That's a bit harsh, I'm sure there's plenty of jobs he'd be good at. He could push a broom around in a warehouse somewhere or something like that. I'm sure he could avoid fucking that up too badly.

Yeah, but come on... what better way for John Terry to make his final appearance for the club, than by getting sent off for a second bookable offence in the course of losing away to Sunderland. His final act as Captain Leader Legend was to throw his armband to the floor, because there was nobody to hand it to.

My kid on youtube update: He's still doing it. But he talks in his videos now: Also, he briefly forgot the difference between a capture card and a shark card (from GTA). Even though he's pretending he doesn't play GTA because he doesn't want his Mum to know . He doesn't just play Skate 3... he's done a bit of Project Cars too. But he'll probably be playing Midnight Club soon (that's why I was asking about it).

So I'm doing my Renegade Insanity playthrough on ME2, and trying to do everything different to what I did on the first run through... but I couldn't bring myself to not hatch Grunt (I want to see how he interacts with Wrex now Wrex isn't dead). So has anyone completed the game while keeping Grunt in the tube the whole time, or does it hatch him against your will at some point?

Fine in theory, but how many guys who leave to come back actually come back? The only guys who've gone and come back in the last few years are the Duds, Goldust and Gallows (Umaga was ages ago). Whereas MVP left to come back and never returned, Lashley never came back, Mr Kennedy never came back, Drew Galloway's not back, Chris Masters isn't back, Mike Knox isn't back...

You know how, at the end of the first Avengers film, it established the team as Cap, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Widow and Hawkeye, and then at the end of Ultron it was made clear that the team now was Cap, Widow, Falcon, War Machine, Vision and Witch? What is the full roster of the Avengers after Civil War? Is it seriously What if there's a major disaster that needs a large team to solve it, but it's not one that's so bad it needs ?

You don't care about Red Dead Revivification?

If you've still got GTA4, the Lost and Damned races were on bikes, with baseball bats. Online too, that's how I met Havoc. He saw my avatar and thought I might be a sexy gothy biker girl in real life. He was sadly disappointed when I eventually bought a headset.

Still no announcement of Phil Brooks' debut then? Didn't seem too long ago, everyone thought it would be on 200.

No, I want a racing game without the tuning emphasis. Where if you want an engine upgrade, you buy Engine Upgrade Level 1, until level 2 unlocks and you can get that instead.

Man United sell a women's footy strip, despite not having a women's football team. Although other than that, WWE and Man U have a lot in common. Ownership and management being completely out of touch with the fanbase, for example.

Kevin Owens is a heel and still shifts merch. Sheamus has been (at times) a top pushed face and not sold shit for shirts.

But what does it say about Dave Pirner from Soul Asylum that Prince kept bringing him in to work together, than shelved everything they did?

Madrid derby for the European Cup Final? Rematch from 2 years ago? OK... not too many Cup Finals have had two team from the same city. There was a Merseyside derby in the '84 FA Cup Final. If Barca win the league and (whichever Madrid team, really) win Europe, who is really better? Does Barca get ultimate bragging rights if they also win the Spanish Cup final (because 2 titles is better than one) or does it just come down to actual Barcelona vs (Madrid team) games and how they ended?

I disagree. All Edge is missing is he forgot to dunk a bucketload of water on his hair before taking the piccy.

Is Midnight Club: LA any good? I'm looking for a decent PS3 racing game that isn't one for the super obsessives who'll spend hours experimenting with tunings and spoiler angles. Is it basically GTA 5 with all of the Grand Theft taken out, leaving just the Auto, is what I'm asking?
