  1. Let me see if I've got this correct: When Michinoku Pro started, Sasuke was top face, Delfin was top heel, Kaientai (Shiryu, Sato and Terry Boy) were underneath faces, TAKA was a young boy, and Funaki was a Battlarts wrestler who guested in MPro a lot. Then Kaientai turned heel and became Kaientai DX (meaning deluxe), with Sato becoming Dick TOGO,Terry Boy becoming Men's TEIOH, and Shiryu not having fur on his mask any more, and TAKA and Funaki joining. But a bit after that, TAKA moved to New York, with TOGO, TEIOH and Funaki soon to follow, whilst Shiryu stuck around for a little while and then moved to Atlanta and became Kaz Hayashi, in the Young Dragons with Jamie Noble (get well soon) and Yung Yang. Then WCW goes out of business, and Noble & Yang winding up in WWE eventually (after Togo and Teioh had gone)... but what happened to Kaz Hayashi? I know there was a Shiryu II in MPro for a while, was that him?
  2. They tried open scoring in boxing once, and it was even worse. They'd announce the scorecards after the 3rd, 6th and 9th rounds (iirc; might have been 4th & 8th). And when the fighter who was winning knew for a fact he had an insurmountable lead, he started coasting like a glass bottomed boat loving bitch. While the guy who knew he needed a KO starting winging wild haymakers from a mile away and nothing else. The fans hated it.
  3. It's the Hallowe'en Phantom! Who on Earth could that masked man possibly be?
  4. Xavi wanted to go to the movies today, so we checked what was on, watched the trailers for Magnificent Seven and Deepwater Horizon, and he said Deepwater looked better, so we went to see that. Loved the early exposition scene, showing how sealing the pipes is supposed to work properly. And when they were doing the 'hero goes to work as if it's just a normal day' scene, rather than him getting in his car and then cutting to him getting out at the heliport, they stop at a gas station to fuel up. To make a point about something. The build up to the disaster, showing how many corners were being cut and how in need of a total refit the boat was even before... nightmarish. And then when the actual blow happens, and the inevitable explosion and inferno... it's a miracle the number of casualties was so low. It didn't look like any human should have been able to live through that, let alone 90% of the people on there. But as the movie makes clear, they never should have been in anything like that much danger. It's good. very good. But most of the movie is in the trailer.
  5. You getting fifteen kills? What's the time limit, an hour? If I'm 20-11, you're under 10. Also, what about Deathmatches that weren't Team style? How many of those have you won?
  6. My advantage was you? If we win 40-31, with me going 21-10 and you going 7-1, it's not you who won the thing. And nobody loves a K/D nurse.
  7. IWA Mid-South. And it's not true that Ian used to pay his workers with drugs. He'd pay them with money, that they would then use to buy drugs (from Ian) in a completely different transaction.
  8. Unknown. Onscreen, he's suspended indefinitely. Off-screen, he's said goodbye to the fans in the Impact Zone and told them he's off to rejoin an old friend. My guess is, when he left NXT to rejoin TNA, he put something in his contract where he could leave immediately if he was ever late getting paid. And Dixie gotta Dixie, so he left.
  9. If it's not, they found a guy who looks just like him. He was still with WWE when this was shot, wasn't he? Would explain the face blurring.
  10. Even in a straight wrestling match, you still wouldn't really want to bump on something like this, would you? (Spoilered for NSFW)
  11. They pop up at different times of the day. There's a shitload of them in some locations (Sandy Shores and in the Docks area) that if you time it right you can get 5 in a day without having to drive between them. 23 Death Matches to go, before I get the tattoos unlock. 12 Slayers and 11 Team Carriers.
  12. OK, hypothetically, Dixie sells the company to Corgan or Aeroflux (or both). Her attempts to make sure that as a condition of the sale, she has to retain an on-screen role as an authority figure fail, and she's out of the company completely (I know she'd rather kill the company than see it survive/ thrive/ die a slow death without her, but go with it). Does she try to get back into Wrestling by joining (or god forbid, starting) another promotion? Do the new owners change EC3's name, or just switch his gimmick so that he's now the company whipping boy who everyone hates, because they all resent his years of storyline untouchability? Does Dixie go on podcasts, do shoot interviews, or hold out for the big money book deal to tell her side of the TNA story? Do Spike TV decide they're getting back into the Wrestling business now she's out of the picture?
  13. I'm pretty sure you only have to play the prologue and the first Franklin and Lamar mission to unlock online.
  14. You've lost a zero in there. $600,000 times 2 is $1.2 million.
  15. Well, it might turn out to be one of those things like Destiny, where the early adopters almost all left it and feel they were hoodwinked into buying half a game, whilst everyone who bought the anniversary edition thinks it's great and there's so much to do. But Destiny was from a big studio with lots of people working on it (and a lot of the 'DLC' allegedly actually being on the disc in the first place) whilst No Man's Sky is from a small studio who's reach has over extended their grasp pretty badly so far. And they aren't communicating about when patches or expansions are coming, so... You can probably get it for dead cheap second hand already though.
  16. With spinning moves, there are some Wrestlers who make it look like they're adding a lot of power and momentum to a strike. And there are others where it looks like they're going "Huh? Where'd the guy go? Oh, there he is! Lunge!". And because Moose is doing the Rainmaker set-up and spinning his opponent, but then releasing the wristlock and spinning himself as well, he's pretty much guaranteed to lose the guy. E-Li Drake's Snapmare kneestrike into spinning Clothesline has looked shit a few times, because nobody knows how many backwards steps to take while selling the knee. But Moose's is worse. Also, why have two new guys who both do shortarm clotheslines as finishers? Just steal moves off the guys who left the company, they aren't using them.
  17. Bruce Buffer called the Conor Undisputed Featherweight Chanmpion while introducing him before the Diaz rematch. Even though Aldo was already interim Champion (and therefore disputing it) at the time. Besides which, I said "de facto Undisputed", not "Undisputed". Even if they're still calling it the interim title, if it's the only active Championship and the proper belt isn't being defended, it might as well not exist. Unless they want to make Conor the Champion Emeritus or something ridiculous like that.
  18. The problem with the scoring system is, if Judge 3 scored the first two rounds for Edwards and the last one for Galloway, she scored the fight for Edwards. But because nobody in TNA knows how 10 point must works, they total the scores after every round, rather than let you know it's all tied up on two cards, but Edwards is 2-0 on the other. Moose's finisher is silly. A Spinning spinning Clothesline? What's that about? So is Cody coming in to reform the Rhodes Scholars, or Dashingly Sinister?
  19. As far as McGregor's featherweight title, if he wins the Lightweight title and decides he's not defending at featherweight any more, Aldo's interim title becomes the de facto undisputed FW belt, until McGregor either vacates or gets stripped. Whereas, if Conor loses his title tilt at Lightweight (which is very much possible), What's he got left? Either defending the FW belt, finishing the Diaz trilogy, or... catchweight vs Lesnar?
  20. On PS4? Is Petrol not on your friends list?
  21. You never made it to 120? Shit, my second character's up to 106 and I only really started playing him two months ago. My main is like 385 or so. Cristobal and PetrolCB are much higher.
