    Rich Hill made his return to the LAD rotation today. He got the first two hitters with the K on curveballs, and then lost his ability to locate completely. HBP, BB, HBP, BB before being removed. Tough row to hoe when you have nowhere to rehab except the back fields in AZ. Only MILB teams still playing are in playoff situations, and I can't imagine that the FO would want him getting starts for Ogden or Tulsa during their playoff series.

    I enjoy Lacey Evans goofing on Guevara for not rolling well. I think her character work is really, really good. Like she fully gets who "Lacey Evans" is, but her incredulous tone about someone's forward roll as if she is some new version of Harley fucking Race makes me laugh.

    And to further the feud, this correlation can be drawn: Mike Muir from ST took issue with RATM because of their anti-corporate leanings, but they were signed to Epic which was a subsidiary of Sony. So Mike wrote and recorded "Do What I Tell Ya!" on Groove Family Cyco by the Infectious Grooves to goof on RATM for that particular fact.

    That shirt is so fucking dope. I have another shirt of his that is mad similar, but that one is hella hard. I'll have to check his schedule and see if he's doing any Northern California dates and see if that's on his gimmick table.

    That is a motherfucker of a statement right there. Really excellent way to look at their usage of stars from past eras. I hope they continue that respectful use, and that they keep finding ways to remind people who might not know who they are why they are fucking important.

    During LAD - COL, Joe Davis just got to talking about the usage of the MLB ball at the AAA level that started this year. 2018 in AAA there were 3600 HR. New ball in use for 2019, and there were 5700 HR. Remind me again why the league is bitching about pace of play if the fucking ball they are using is jumping out of yards like that? First pitch in LA was 5.10 PM, and it's 8.47 now and B7 just ended. Granted, LAD is up 16-6 and there was a 14 minute delay for an umpire changeover after Larry Vanover took a foul ball to the forearm, but goddamn.

    Absolutely. He does the "better than you" disdain so well. Kenny on top as king heel is what I want from this first year or so of AEW. Not necessarily as champ, but certainly as the "final boss" type heel.

    I know this kid wasn't on the MLB roster, but I feel like this is something we all should see. He's putting on a hell of a strong showing for a guy that just had a huge part of his life ripped away from him. I hope all the best in the world for him.

    And for a dude that is evading police for a triple homicide, this video of them chasing him is pretty goddamn stupid. Some old ass cop can't stop this guy even though he's barley jogging, not really being evasive, and the cop maces him and tries to hit him with an ASP.     This intrigues me. I have seen almost nothing of her beyond the Bertha Faye run, and I hella enjoyed that, although I was like 17 at the time, so my tastes have for sure changed quite a bit. I should dig up what I can find of Stampede and Japan and get to watching.

    I haven't read it, but I would love to. Of all the "famous" dudes I've been in dinky indy locker rooms with, Sabu is one of the fucking coolest. Dude had time for everyone, wasn't at all bothered by most of his down time being sucked up by folks looking for advice, and he drew me up a super detailed schematic of the best way to string the wire for a no-ropes barbed wire death match, both for visual effect and to support the guys going into it from bailing to the floor. Plus, he loves the reefer, and I got to chief a bunch of dope with him, and he was cool about it. All these motherfuckers want to smoke but don't want to chip in. Sabu was all about paying for the privilege.

    Fuckin A right it was. I want him so badly to be the heel final boss in AEW, at least to start out. I love him and his super dismissive, "fuck all you lames" attitude. I want more of that. I would be crazy juiced about a Hangman - Omega program that was just absolutely fucking hate-filled.

    While I am pretty goddamn jazzed about PAC vs. Omega, I am the tiniest bit bummed that the replacement isn't El Hijo del Death Rider, Shota Umino. Not that he has any place in that spot at this point in his career, but I'd love to see him in there trying to do Mox's dirty work.
