  1. I believe his last appearance was his loss to Hangman after the last PPV. (Which at the time I assumed would be the start of a build to a rematch.) I don't think there was any storyline reason given why he disappeared afterwards.
  2. I deliberately said "unsolicited", not "unwanted".:) (Though let's not act like "the majority of earth" are into women.) Really though, the rule is "no unsolicited sexting" because you don't know whether it'll be wanted, and it's much better to err on the side of caution. And yes, granted, Liv Morgan sending images to a straight dude is in a safer position than almost anybody else is likely to be.
  3. I occasionally catch WWE shows when visiting my Dad, and I do remember seeing a bit where Liv texted unsolicited sexual images to Dom. (Obviously, they didn't show the viewers the images, so it was left to our imagination what precisely they were.) I assume that's what's being referred to, and I'm pretty sure it actually happened and wasn't just a Mandela effect. Of course, I suspect the connection with the lawsuit was entirely in the complainers' minds, but I don't really know enough about the details of the lawsuit to say for sure.
  4. Dolfan, is there supposed to be something embedded in your post? I've checked on three devices and all I see is whitespace.
  5. I still miss Wren/Madi as the face of Evolution. Yes. Any discussion of AEW's women's roster and how to improve it always comes down to this. They need more TV time.
  6. I know. I was playing straight man. MAKE WITH THE PUNCH LINE! I admire you for saying this. But honestly, I wasn't being circuitous and using "a certain portion of the AEW audience" as longhand for "me". I wouldn't precisely count myself as part of that portion. (I was actually thinking of explicitly mentioning Gordi, but I wasn't sure if he still read the AEW threads and thought it would be weird to name-drop him behind his back.) Personally, I'm kind of in the middle on the issue. To provide some context - back in the early days of AEW, I was one of the guys arguing that they shouldn't be afraid to do an unclean finish now and then. Used right, they're useful storytelling tools. But they're also something that's much easier to overuse than underuse, and I lean towards thinking they've shifted to overusing them in the last year or two. So having some matches where a clean finish is virtually guaranteed is a nice thing. But now I'm going to argue against my own point and wonder if the Continental title even has much of a "no bullshit" aura any more. I mean, they've stuck to the "no interference" thing, but how many matches in the second Classic were decided by a low blow behind the ref's back? And is that noticeably better than a second interfering to decide a match?
  7. Eh. Maybe? I said "I suspect". Who knows how people will react, really? ...that doesn't even spell "Barrie" the same way do. Could be. Like I said, who knows? Wait, are they even heels now? Both their tag matches since their rechristening have been against heel teams, and Buddy is now challenging Okada, another heel.
  8. I thought of that. The problem is, there appears to be a portion of AEW's audience who are rabidly against bullshit finishes and see Continental matches as a haven from them. I suspect doing an interference finish in a Continental title match would put heat on the promotion rather than the heels, regardless of how you set it up.
  9. The problem with this plan is that it's a Continental title match and nobody's allowed at ringside.
  10. I have. I wouldn't say it differs much from in-person.
  11. Turns out it can! Meltzer was 4.217% responsible for the shift to riskier styles. So Elsalvajeloco was correct.
  12. Do you mean in real life or in storyline? Because I see no reason to expect those two lists to be the same.
  13. So presumably Ospreay is taking on the fifth member of the family that Callis alluded to recently? I can't think of any other reason they wouldn't just say whom he's facing.
  14. I'm not sure if you're being sincere, but that's hilarious either way.
  15. No. Mox walks out as world champion. Unless we get that "pivot" so many of you want, I guess.
  16. But then, that's true of almost anyone on the roster who's interacted with Harley.
  17. Only maybe without the threatening-to-eat-them part.
  18. I'm saying it doesn't matter. Whether they were in the WWE isn't relevant and I don't see why you're making a big deal out of it.
  19. That the Hurt Business are over and Private Party aren't? Honestly, I really think some people pay too much attention to who's been in WWE and who hasn't. It doesn't strike me as particularly important.
  20. I probably will, yeah. Though it'll have a steep hill to climb to displace Old World as my Civlike of choice.
  21. Hangman's current character is pretty far removed from a champion of friendship and fun, though. Orange Cassidy would really be the most logical choice to do the deed, but they used him as Mox's first challenger. Though I suppose they could do a full circle thing and come back to Orange after Mox runs through enough guys.
  22. There are qualifications?
  23. Yeah, but... Honkytonk Man.
  24. You know, I'm not really sure. But it's been legal for quite a few years now, so I've thought about checking it out...
