  1. How good was Sting/Flair vs. Funk/Muta? I've heard little about it aside from the fire but that lineup in a cage sounds like pure awesomeness.
  2. Jeez, Kevin Kelly and Corino... honestly Striker is the best part of that equation. They should just get Ranallo and Warmaster instead.
  3. He says that? He was a fucking club promoter in NYC pre-Giuliani. What a carny.
  4. "FIGHT, CHILD RABOR FORCE!!!" I watched my midsized college town grow high-rises like the corn and soybeans in the fields around it in the last couple years, so I feel the same as Kevin, if not to the same extent.
  5. Nobody should let Nikki stomp anybody again. Ever. On the brighter side it's clear that nobody in the Divas Revolution is slapping their thigh when they kick one another. Booker's babble was at an unforeseen level of incomprehensibility here and I challenge someone to translate some of the shit that was coming out of his mouth. What I watched of Ryback/Owens was passable (busy at the time); Owens is such a shitter taking the countout loss and I loved him waving Ryback off after the Shellshock like bugs were flying around his head. Though Cody's still funny/fun to me and I'm happy these guys have an angle I have no interest. Nice Falcon Arrow from the second buckle by one of the Jobronis Ascension though. Man that staredown between Wyatt and Roman was great. Harper and Big Stranglehold standing in the background (with Harper's Manson eyes glaring out of the corner in every shot of Roman) and letting it simmer, then Wyatt yelling "ARE YOU READY TO DIE?" as Reigns walked off made that. They already did the big brawl so no reason for that, just light the fuse and wait for the PPV. Big E prancing to the ring with light clapping, then Kane getting into it and clapping along was just perfect. Kane's facial expressions are classic. He just mugs for the camera so well in this persona. And of course then you get the trombone during the slingshot dropkicks! A nothing match but the schtick from all involved is fun. Booker insisting on someone checking on Corporate Kane after all is done was good too.
  6. ...and right on time! AMC has started their Stephen King movie marathon tonight. Firestarter, Pet Semetery, Thinner, Cujo, Silver Bullet, Riding the Bullet (which I've never even heard of). Then Fear of the Walking Dead to cure your insomnia. They throw in The Shining tomorrow for shits 'n' giggles. EDIT: Looks like we need to keep an eye on TCM. They've got Rattlers, The Swarm, and Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte playing on Sunday.
  7. I am mistaken then. Thought I heard somewhere they fucked up and forgot to fix the wheel. Watts was a fool when it came to WCW, aside from tags and bringing in his boys. EDIT: Hell, wouldn't a strap match would have been better? Sting ended up having a pretty good one of those...
  8. If Dick is as good a trainer as he is a wrestler, it'll be a treat to see who comes out of his camp and gets shipped overseas.
  9. Tried to find a screencap of DDP and Savage throwing each other into the fake tombstones to no avail. I think these pictures show the dichotomy of WCW perfectly. First one: moment of brilliance. Second: moment of utter idiocy. Third: total shitfest of a match because they didn't gimmick the wheel. Fourth: amazing match because the performers were down and they did gimmick the wheel.
  10. Yeah I highly doubt they do anything beyond maybe a King marathon, a Walking Dead marathon, and a Fear the Walking Dead marathon.
  11. I almost want to drop by and watch Sicario this weekend, but got some vinyls to buy and really need to save money for a big show at the end of the month. Somebody let us know how it is.
  12. I was reading this http://flavorwire.com/539000/50-films-that-capture-the-dark-side-of-new-york-city/51 and was wondering who's seen The Education of Sonny Carson, which of all of the films I haven't seen here (there aren't a whole lot) instantly appealed to me. If you've seen it how is it? (And btw, no King of New York? No fucking BAD LIEUTENANT?!)
  13. I think the best idea is to hope that they don't just put their October horror fare and dump them into the Friday midnight movies that always kick so much ass.
  14. Here, to make up for that, this is the TCM Horror lineup for October. Nothing at all surprising, sadly, aside from the "Rogue Body Parts" films which I must admit is interesting as I haven't seen any of those amazingly. Would it kill to vary the Hammer lineup at all? Curse of the Werewolf getting a showing, at least? http://www.tcm.com/this-month/article/1124181%7C0/TCM-Horror-Fridays-in-October.html
  15. Shit, Living Wreck is RIGHT THERE and NOBODY has made a movie named that, no matter how bad or generic?
  16. I was mulling over costume ideas for the big day with friends the other night and it popped into my head "hey guys, you know how many people are gonna do Mad Max costumes this year? It's gonna be the new Dark Knight 2008." Then I thought about it a little more and realized these are a bit... more... trying... than some Joker makeup. But I can see a bunch of skinny War Boys freezing their balls off.
  17. Aw shit, I thought I saw that here somewheres.
  18. Matanza would be in it. You get too close, his claw comes out of a hole in the side and rips off your junk, so everyone has to run the ropes corner-to-corner.
  19. I thought the mask was awesome. Was he better or worse than Musfafa, I wonder?
  20. Of course someone in one of the threads thought the Rollins shirt was a Star Wars reference, completely ignoring the font
  21. I think they're just there to sell photos which is why I find it hilarious Tracy's wearing pads.
  22. Some neat names. It'll be great seeing Mrs. Barbeau and Mrs. Williams again, and John Skipp co-directed one of the stories? Cool. 10 stories is A LOT but at the very least this'll be fun, more than likely.
  23. Black Night would totally work. The Mule as a drug pic. Might Just Take Your Life.
  24. It was just fine but having Kevin Hart as the first guest made me want to puke. Until he gets on his feet totally Daily will be #3 with Nightly #1 and @Midnight #2 for me.
