Oh, c'mon. That shit was funny.
-
Well, Terrifier is okay if you're real drunk with friends. I was neither. It might actually be a decent one for a party situation, if everyone is out to see some serious, mindless grue.
-
Flair to Rodman: "You know, in all my time fuckin' I never broke my dick. How did you manage not once but THREE times?" Taker: "I gotta hit the head, see you gents in a minute..." Hero having my body type gives me hope. One more thing... Hayes, please... you can't even lose the fanny pack for a fucking WEDDING CEREMONY?
-
Some of my friends were geeking out about Terrifier so I decided to rent it. With the awful name and the fucking clown on the cover I was ignoring it, but when King from Deceased gives anything a 90 out of 100 on his personal scale (60 is pretty much a zero so there's a curve), being the horror freak with good taste that he is, my ears perked up. Let ya know what I think later on tonight. I also had to return Another Wolfcop without watching it but I don't think that was much of a miss (and I got Detroit for free so expect some gnashing of teeth in anger later too)
-
BTW, thanx for reminding me of Hard Times, Loco. I've still never seen that even though I've seen just about all the classic Bronson films -- Majestyk, Mechanic, Chato's Land, etc. It's on Youtube so when my net time rolls over I'll need to watch it.
-
Undead Charles Bronson would probably be no less mobile than Live Charles Bronson. I can imagine the cadaver bitching "You brought me back to make ANOTHER one of these?!" though.
-
In that case I'm surprised that nobody else (say, an enterprising Italian producer) took the opportunity to do so until now
-
You are probably gonna want to watch Mil and Cuerno punching each other directly in the face tonight.

Heels That Are Incapable Of Being Babyfaces
Curt McGirt replied to Thomas Bugg's topic in The PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING
Correction: if there was ever a WWF gimmick for ECW to shit on, it was specifically that. The Sheepherders were so proto-ECW it's ridiculous that they didn't go back to their bloodletting ways (they didn't, right? I never saw 'em in ECW). -
Also gotta say I agree about the Hansen/Inoki series, think the only one that stood out was the one where they had their own bands playing intros for them. And I lay the blame firmly on Inoki. Some of the ones I remember that were underrated on that list were 85.) The Cobra vs. Don Arakawa (8/1/85) - 3869 points 86.) Tiger Mask, Antonio Inoki & Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Baby Face, Dynamite Kid & Abdullah the Butcher (1/8/82) - 3863 points (this is a blast) 87.) Gran Hamada vs. Babyface (4/3/80) - 3849 points (funny that all three of those are right next to each other) 102.) Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Steve Keirn (2/3 Falls) (2/1/80) - 3473 points 123.) Yoshiaki Fujiwara & Kengo Kimura vs. El Bello Greco & Sergio El Hermoso (2/3/89) - 3065 points 103.) Keiichi Yamada & Shiro Koshinaka vs. Perro Aguayo & El Canek (10/10/88) - 3472 points (not sure, couldn't find another Perro match but it was one with him) 61.) Yoshiaki Fujiwara vs. Don Nakaya Nielsen (7/29/88) - 4446 points 129.) Buzz Sawyer vs. Victor Zangiev (8/5/89) - 2893 points
-
Hate to break it to you but Sayama's cred goes way down watching his stuff, or at least it did for me and many others. IIRC he has a really good Gran Hamada match and the rest of it ain't so hot. Weird thing, right after I watched all that stuff I also watched him in UWF without the mask against Fujiwara and flipped because it was so much better. The random stuff that really stood out to me was the matches with guys like Don Nakaya Nielsen, the luchadors, and the Russians (you HAVE to see Hashimoto vs. Zangiev).
-
No, you aren't tripping, they really did find some Hungarian dude that looks just like Charles Bronson to make a Death Wish ripoff
-
They might just be doing that because they wanted it as a series... or maybe because it's longer than No Country for Old Men (!)
-
Sounds like the name or album title of a band that would probably be in my record collection. And despite that I don't remember that series at all.
-
Well, at the very least try and burn through the top 20-30 on the '80s set http://deathvalleydriver.com/forum/index.php?/topic/663-dvdvr-best-of-the-1980s-new-japan-results/

Gotta say, Hardy/Nakamura was pretty good, even with Orton showing up and Jeff flubbing the last line on his promo kinda-sorta ("And so yeah in a couple days I'm going to hell okayIguessnowwestartthematch"). It even kept my attention for that infuriating screen-in-screen whereupon Nak generously applied knees to the back of Jeff's head. -
See? This is what we get for Eddie bringing up Deebo. He's like Candyman only you don't have to say his name but once.

"What day it is going to be?" - Rusev I love broken English -
Touche. It's probably because I'm watching the replays of the good SOA episodes on Audience right now (just started season 3, after which...)
-
At least you have a DVR, I'm gonna have to retain sobriety until then. Plague is one of the ones I've never seen all the way through and missing it again is not an option.
-
That series always -- ALWAYS -- looks too goofy to watch. Every season, every new trailer, looks like they want to out-goof the prior one.
-
Shit, I feel bad owning a copy of The Usual Suspects now considering Spacey actually was a serious criminal in disguise
-
Forgot to mention, starting to recycle plotlines from a former series starting on the SECOND EPISODE of a new one is pretty sad, Mr. Sutter

I can't help think considering recent conversation (KO, the Bam Bam quote) that Vince probably looks at the women that are great workers and thinks of them the same way as men that are great workers and treats them the same. Probably his idea of equality. At least the finish on this one was perfect. The rest that I wanted to watch but ignored I'll watch en Espanol on Sunday.
