    i don't really see an issue where you hire somebody for $xx and then if they do a really good job they get a bonus of $yy. providing that all of this is in the contract, where is the problem?

    i could've sworn i posted in this thread. Anyway, here goes: Marvel: Human Torch (Jim Hammond). that small cameo in Cap1 wasn't enough. i know, the kid from F4 appropriated the name and is more connected with it, but come on! Hammond is literally Marvel's first hero. speaking of Golden Agers, i'm surprised Namor hasn't appeared yet. i read there's some weird licensing deal, but i feel like whoever has that deal should cash out now. I'm not even that huge a fan of Namor, but his exclusion seems odd. for DC, i was pumped about the Whedon Batgirl movie. now that Whedon is out, i am much less enthused.

    yesterday took a nice walk in shorts and no jacket. just wonderful weather. today? rain, sleet, rain, and snow. in that order. for about 12 hours now.

    this may be a novel idea, but with 5 hours of mainline programming every week, why not have something that appeals to everyone? a combination of storylines that appeals to hardcore fans, casual fans, and Vince McMahon. this doesn't have to be an all or nothing ordeal.

    there's a handful of grammar mistakes that aggravate me. most of the there/their/they're stuff i just roll my eyes at. "should of" instead of "should have". not that damn hard. using "borrow" instead of "lend". i don't know how common this is, but a buddy of mine is always saying stuff like "can you borrow me $10" or whatever. i can't stand it.

    absolutely agree. i played it after Tropical Freeze on the Wii-U, and i definitely missed the classic controls. the motion controls have a time and place, a standard platforming game IS NOT it.

    finally finished up Donkey Kong Country Returns (wii) this morning. very fun, but very frustrating game. i started playing a few years back, but i rage quit and hadn't played in a few years. beating Tropical Freeze last month renewed my interest in this one, so i picked it back up. finished at 84%.

    re: Miss Elizabeth. didn't she win the 'smashing crumpet' tournament we did a few years ago? that's all the credentials she needs. with WWE sponsoring Jarrett's recent rehab stint, i could see them putting him in sooner rather than later. if wwe had also acquired the tna video library, it would be even less of a surprise. christian also won the NWA title. it won't get mentioned on wwe tv, but it still is an accomplishment. as far as Japanese inductions, Great Muta or Jushin Liger would be my picks

    i bought an Xbox 360 specifically to play Undisputed 3 a few years back. ended up selling it off, but sometimes i miss playing that game.

    speaking of themes, does anyone have a version of Dixie Dynamite's theme from SMW? it would work well on a southern rock playlist i'm compiling.

    i guess i'm just assuming. there's been talks and news of this movie for what feels like a decade at this point. sure, mostly the news is stuff like "director pulled out" and "negotiations with actor hit a snag", but it always seems like the film is highly anticipated.

    just read that the Gambit movie was pushed back, again. why is it so difficult for Fox to get this movie made? it's not even something i'm pining for, but there's obviously money to be made. get your shit together, Fox.

    i might make the trek to Chicago if it ends up there. haven't been to a live show out of town since Mania 23.

    yeah i saw that too. Corino played the part of regional NWA champion pretty good. Defended all over the place. i've read he hated doing it because he took more bookings, got paid less, and had more promoters try to screw him over while he was champ. freaking ridiculous.
