This show has gotten good. After the Canary reveal I have been hooked.

That was an ugly ass game. Mason is great, but I seriously hate the rest of the Flyers. Was Giroux a flash in the pan or is he hurt? The Canes sucked tonight. It was nice seeing the Staals combine for a goal and Murphy and Faulk are going to be great defensemen. Justin Peters is the drizzling shits, however.

Well that's what he had to do with these last two books. A Storm of Swords was the big climatic end to a lot of things, and these last two (which I've been lead to believe started out as one thing that got out of control) had to reset the table a bit for the big finale to come. Also, I think that GRRM got bogged down writing the Mereen stuff. I can't believe that was any fun to write.

There's some good in there. Mostly the Cersei and Jamie chapters. Every bit of the Daenerys stuff is boring. Most of the Ironborn stuff could've been pared down also.

That entire chapter where Jon gets the letter and the that follows just feels off to me. I dunno.

So I haven't done this in a while, and I really enjoy jae's pep talks. On the left is me in May. On the right is me the other day, almost six months later. I'm 30 lbs down, but that isn't the entire story. I've packed on A LOT of muscle. I'm doing the DDPYoga Diamond Cutter workout once a day (except Saturdays or Sundays, depending on my schedule). I also run at least two miles a day 3-4 times a week (once again, depending on my schedule) and on the days that I don't run I lift weights. I originally started just doing the circuit at the gym, but a month ago I started the Bill Pearl bodybuilding program. The change in my body since then has been intense and pretty-life changing. I've altered my diet (still not completely organic and gluten-free, though I am working on it) and I've cut down my soda intake to maybe one can a week (instead of the 1 2-liter size bottle I'd drink in a day before). The crazy part is that this stuff is hard to start, but so fucking rewarding once you do it. My life is completely different now and it's for the better. I feel stronger, more confident and those strange pie-in-the-sky goals that I had jokingly said when I first started are actually possible now (my body WILL resemble a doughier, 40 year-old Cesaro in a few years!). So, congrats to everyone on doing this stuff, but especially me.

I just finished reading all of the ASOIaF books and I don't think that there is a topic on here. First question: who was the Hooded Man that Theon runs into in Winterfell?

What's with the coach of the Oilers? I've watched a few of their games and every shot of him on the bench he just stands there, head sort of tilted down with a blank expression on his face and hair in his eyes. I'm beginning to think that it's a cardboard cutout.
