Re Backstage Pass, I cracked up picturing them setting up a podium for all the interviews ala major sporting events. Have all the dudes out there answering questions about their matches in a deadpan. Have Regal out there as the PR flack calling on reporters to ask questions. Fine Brock for no-showing.

Was reading up on Ramis this morning and suddenly had an awesome summer camp flashback to performing the "Doo Wah Diddy Diddy" jody call from Stripes as we all marched off to the mess hall. Too funny. It really is amazing just how many classic movies he had a hand in- he's up there with Mel Brooks for my money in terms of output, including a ton of stuff you don't even think of like Back to School. RIP, funnyman.

Seems like I'm having the same PS3 issues as everyone else... streaming works like a charm, VOD is a big dud. Tried searching for guys and none of the videos I clicked would work. Watched the stream while I worked out last night... those 30 minutes on the arc trainer just flew by while I watched Wrestlemania I. Monsoon (excuse me, GINO) and Ventura might be my all time favorite announcer duo.

What if the NBA had taken the Spirits of St Louis as a franchise in the merger (instead of the erstwhile owners bleeding them to the tune of $300 million over the years)? What if Bernard King hadn't torn up his knee and was around to form a starting frontcourt with Patrick Ewing the following year? What if the Blazers drafted Jordan instead of Sam Bowie? What if the Cubs hadn't traded Lou Brock to the Cardinals for ERNIE BROGLIO?

Kikuchi as a Rising Sun Ricky Morton, Kroffat the magnificent bastard (20:30 for his "that's right, we bad" strut) and the most volcanic crowd ever. When God comes down to pass judgement on us, this match will be my offering to Him.
