I remember tilt a whirl backbreakers and slams we’re all over the mid card of WCW and some of WWE in the second half of the 90s but then sit out became the new vogue and tiltawhirl loves never really came back in style like they were. Indie wrestlers bring back the tiltawhirls. -

I thought that was a good probability when this stuff started up but it’s gone on long enough that I don’t think it’s a work, unless they worked themselves into a shoot with themselves.

Knox should face some kind of punishment since this isn’t the first time he fucked up with a talent being out of it. He should have kept counting he made Mox, Feniz, himself, the company and the fans look stupid with his stopping the count for no reason and then didn’t even help direct traffic to take it home and let Mox call it to do it again. -

I love Naito dearly but he probably tells his opponents before hand that if he loses consciousness that they can do whatever they want to finish the match. He’s one of the few people even more….committed to their craft than Mox. -
I don’t think it was a situation of one or the other either. I’ve been thinking that TK coming from a sports background shows in the talent choices sometimes. If you were looking at a player who you knew could possibly have a couple great seasons given the right circumstances but has some limits in some areas of their game you might not want to give them a big money contract because they might not reach the level they could so if another team gave them a better offer you let them go. It makes sense in the NFL but not really in wrestling because some of the biggest stars had holes in their games but AEW seems to view the women as an economical position like RBs became in the NFL

Jade’s star has a very good chance of burning brightest but I think Hayters star will burn longer so both have a lot of value for a promoter but I wouldn’t fault someone for letting someone go even if they have a good chance of being a huge star if they have some one who can be a big star for them longer.

When iPods where the hotness I’ve went with a Creative Zen also it had a huge amount of storage too (for the time) I think it’s 100 or 200 GB I was able to fit so much stuff on it and the interface was so much easier to navigate than with the iPod wheel thing. I still have it around here somewhere all loaded up with a a shot load of music (and a Regal shoot interview which was always jarring to come up when shuffling but damn it’s entertaining) -

I’ve seen things said that he failed for cocaine and “another substance” but nothing from a any of the big name sources so grain of salt -

Flogging Molly pits are crazy. I started their set in the front and ended up in the pit and despite my best efforts I bailed by the end of the second song. Those folks were wild, I preferred to stand to the side and enjoy the music much better than feeling like I was fighting for my life. -

That lazy submission got me my fastest win in WCW Revenge, 5 second match one setup move and instant submission was never able to do it again -

At a house party ska show back in my college days there was on asshole trying to start a full on mosh pit so the singer went over and punched him in the face and the rest of us had a good laugh and didn’t see him the rest of the night. Good times great memories -

The only shocking thing about that is that it didn’t happen first minute of business on Tuesday. Or maybe it did and we’re just finding out. -
I trust OC to get a good one hour out of Penta even if 30 minutes are OC putting his hands in his pockets while Penta taunts

Truly saddening news. Such a young age and with a young family. Bray was a very creative individual and could do some really great promo work and was way more athletic than his build would lead you to believe. I envisioned him having a long career both in front of the camera and behind. Feel so sad for his whole family.

Terry is, in my opinion, the best ever, the one true GOAT. He was top tier in ever aspect and was completely selfless because he knew the show would go on and that his job was to do the right thing for the show he was on. A class act and kind soul a rare thing in the crazy business he chose. RIP Funker you gave us everything you could and we’re all the better for it.

I honestly forgot Piper even had a WCW run in the late 90s. He should of just stayed away from wrestling after the early 90s (maybe even late 80s) cause all he did was diminish his legacy. -

Beef sticks have a wide range of quality and slim Jim’s lean toward the terrible side of the spectrum. Sadly something so closely related to something as great as Randy Savage is so terrible (though Savage was a bit terrible irl so maybe it does work)
