  1. Shit. I just checked Facebook and saw this. I thought he was doing better. Dammit. Newb and I have shot the shit about the pro wrestling and how terrible the Bills are ever since he PMed me and we added each other on Messenger back in 2006 or so. He could not have been a nicer guy, and this really really sucks. I really hope I don't scroll down on his Facebook to see the pics of him with with nephews, because that will gut me all over again. Shit.
  2. What a great pass by Carson Palmer to "Sheriff" John Brown.
  3. Holy crap, Jeremy Maclin just went careening over the Gatorade station. He's OK, so I can now find that hilarious.
  4. Oh man Robert Woods just walked all over the Jets defender and dropped him the ball after the TD catch.
  5. In crowd shot of Bills fans, there was a guy wearing a GUILTY 32 jersey. Ha!
  6. LOL Chris Conte just got stiff armed out of his shoes by Freddie. Bills... win?
  7. I went to the Toronto Riot Fest last year because FUCKING REPLACEMENTS REUNION!! but the lineup this year is amazing and I have no one to go with. Argh. Also, the new The New Pornographers song is amazing.
  8. God, this song is never mentioned by anyone, and buried on Nevermind, and it is amazing. Good to see some love for it. I remember feeling old 10 years ago when I was listening to the local alt rock station commemorating 10 years. I was weird in that I didn't fall in love with "Smells Like Teen Spirit" initially. I wondered what the hype was all about, and why I couldn't understand many words, and why it was so fuzzy. I grew to like it, like any pop song, but didn't LOVE IT until years later. Of course, I dove in headfirst, and got all the albums, and somehow found a copy of Hormoaning at a used CD place.
  9. Rangers in 6 Kings in 7 2 Nash points Over 11 PPG
  10. A belly to belly of the non-overhead variety. That one Scott Steiner was able to do well even after he was broken down.

  13. Are there still spots left? The defending DVDVRMB champ wants in!
  14. I absolutely would've voted for Glavine, Edgar, McGwire and Kent if you were allowed to go past 10.
  15. Maddux/Bonds/Clemens/Thomas/Raines/Piazza,Bagwell/Biggio/Trammell/Schilling Yes, I left off Glavine, but this ballot is too loaded. The first 8 are unimpeachable choices for me. Trammell is at the end of his elligibility and should have been in long ago. I read of Schilling that he is the pitcher everyone thinks Jack Morris is. That, and he pitched in a tougher era, tougher ballparks, struck out more guys, walked fewer guys... oh, and was flat out better.
  16. I thought it was determined that it was rosin (which is provided by MLB in a beanbag behind the mound at all times)
  17. Salty needs to never throw to 3rd ever again, or be shot into the sun, or whatever. If only Napoli's hip and a lack of practice allowed him to still catch....
  18. I am trying very hard not to be a laughing hyena douche about the results of game one but HA! Nice of the Cards to give us free looks at Mainess and Martinez (ED note: not impressed so far) in a meaningless game. It occurs to me that the AL is exponentially better than the NL, and it is up to the TRUE GUARDIANS OF WALL BANGING BASEBALL PLAYED THE RIGHT WAY the Red Sox to step back in and defend it. We can't depend on losers like the Tigers and Rangers to defend the vanguard of AMERICAN LEAGUE BRAND BASEBALL. Seriously, the Sox have 4 players not ON THEIR ACTIVE ROSTER (Bradley, Lavarnway, Snyder, Holt) who would be the best bench bat in AL parks for the Cards. Wacha and all the A+ young bullpen arms are the big edge the Cards have, and I think it's a castle made a graham crackers. The Sox's World Series was surviving that Tigers' rotation. I was scared heading in, but facing Kelly and Lynn, and having a good shot at bringing Wacha back to earth, makes me feel good about their chances. We start guys decent enough to win in the AL. We will carve up Lesser Circuit lineups. OK, I'm still ready for everything to go wrong.
  19. I think I read that Kimbrel got a 6 out save in the 2010 playoffs.
  20. Yeah, Josh DON'T TREAD ON THOMAS.
