I guess my concern is the fighting game would also have to use the light/med/strong button theory for the controller to really be an improvement. Which a lot of them do of course but DOA 5 for example has their own unique controls that wouldn't really work for the controller without serious re-mapping (which I don't think all games allow you to do).

I agree, with WWE having Cena and Bryan with the secondary titles they could easily afford to have Rollins do less in the ring to make it seem more special when he does have a singles match. I mean they have plenty of wrestlers to fill a RAW card, I don't think Rollins should disappear for months like Brock does but he doesn't need to be in matches every week.

Anyone have any thoughts on the MK controller? While I love the idea, unless other games come out that use this button layout I hate to spend another $50 for something I will use on one game. Looks cool though.

UFC's statement seems a bit stupid on the surface. They didn't look into it, they just 'assumed' Rampage was telling the truth before announcing him for a PPV? The same Rampage that has shown on a few occasions he is missing a few screws? I hope they are just covering themselves as if they really didn't look into the situation that wasn't very wise.

So now does UFC pay Bellator to release Rampage to not impact their PPV? I mean how much is Rampage really worth now? Should be interesting to see where it goes.

I just finished my long ass review for the event. Summary: It was a really good show but had gaps in it that were not great. Really didn't like the tag title match. Main event was excellent.

Do people that know more about law than me expect him not to be allowed to fight? I haven't read a lot of analysis on what the expected outcome is.

There live it seemed ridiculous, but we couldn't hear if the referee had repeatedly warned him first. Also the stoppage seemed a bit early, no way if that was the main event would it have been stopped since he was still doing something resembling defending. Not enough to be angry about or anything but I've seen worse not get stopped before. Hell Pena had her opponent in the same position for over a minute before the referee stopped the match. Refereeing is so subjective, I am not blaming them, but the rules are definitely not applied the same across the board.

In the ideal world they would take a longer cycle one year and make the game a pre-WrestleMania release, if they have to make it yearly at least give them one 16 month cycle somewhere in the middle to make some of the changes the game needs. I mean they won't do that, especially not as long as people are still buying it, but it would be nice. I ended up cancelling my pre-order and skipping this year, I am strictly on a year by year basis. I'd like to get it, but it just depends on how it looks and what they've done to it that makes me decide. I did Red Box it one night my brother was in town, enjoyed the general game play of it as it isn't a bad game at all. It just isn't different enough than last years and some of the graphics are still weird.

Great Muta was in the nWo, if he had come down with the group then it officially would have been the best WM ever. For me anyway, my personal amusement is the most important thing to me.

It was only 25 minutes, not quite 40 minutes. Still may be too long for some people but WM always has some skits and things, I really don't see the big deal. No one lost their spot on the card for that skit.

Ronda Rousey is the new Pitbull I guess. The last PPV she main evented got 500K+ buys, more than any WWE PPV not named "WrestleMania" in many years. More people in the US know who Ronda Rousey is than Roman Reigns. Believe that.

My thoughts on this week's episode: I mean it still made me laugh which I guess is the point but the plot was just way out there.

He last appeared in ZERO1 in July of 2013 for his anniversary. He is able to stand with help but I am not sure about brain damage. He had a little fake match with Marufuji on 7/17/13. From watching the video I am not sure if he is all there to be honest. Seems a bit exploitative but if he enjoyed it, who am I to judge.

BYE FELICIA I like Clay, but I don't like him to the tune of 5/38/ 20 guaranteed. To put that into perspective, Gronk is making $9M per year with $13M guaranteed. Salaries for positions always go up, so can't really compare contracts to ones signed a few years ago. A better comparison would be that Cameron got 7.5 mil a year/12.5 guaranteed for just a two year contract, and personally I'd rather have Clay with Cameron's concussion issues. Either way its an upgrade at TE for the Bills so I won't complain, they have the cap space for him.

I'm not sure if putting themselves in Cap Hell next offseason is a great idea (Suh's cap hit next year is $28 Million, highest in the league), now if they can unload Wallace and get picks in the process, I may agree with you. A New England fan will probably come in and disagree, but I find it notable that the Bills, Dolphins, and Jets are all going all-out trying to improve their teams while the Patriots lost players. Next season should be interesting, the Patriots are still the team to beat but I think the gap has closed a bit.

No one can say the Bills aren't trying. I like the new owner, for better or worse they are at least actively trying to improve the team and spending money to do it. The only risk with signing Harvin for one year is if he has a great season he will likely leave next year.

You don't have to be the best at something to train in it, just know how to teach. Pitching coaches in baseball aren't as good as the pitchers, QB coaches in the NFL aren't as good at the QBs, etc. Gunn wrestled in WWE for a really long time and understands their style and what they want from their wrestlers.
