  1. Agree with whoever said Asuka is Nia's best opponent, but also I think Finn is Seth's best, they have some crazy chemistry which doesn't always happen with two guys of the same ish size and style.
  2. Yes! More Nia/Tamina showdowns please. With added bonus of Asuka as well.
  3. If Snoke was powerful enough to link Rey and Kylo together, as well as the other force grabs/lightning they briefly showed us, there's no reason why he couldn't also have been an astral projection the whole time. So Ren only thinks he's killed Snoke. Also not buying the Rey's parents are nobodies element. Snoke kept emphasising Skywalker when talking to her a lot. Also coolest scene of the movie was Leia re-animating from dead space and force floating herself back inside the ship.
  4. Not going to watch just in case then. Seeing it next weekend, really excited!
  5. Why did they build a multi billion dollar dinosaur resort on an island with an active volcano?
  6. The woken promo already has 1.3 million views on YouTube.
  7. So The Foreigner is fucking awesome. Jackie Chan does his best acting by far. A very understated performance. With the fighting, it still has the Chan style, but it is somewhat grittier. Pierce Brosnan does a great job too and the plot was really good.
  8. This is only the tip of the iceberg and we're going to be hearing about names for years to come. I don't think even wrestling in its little bubble will remain unscathed in this one.
  9. That was the first match I remember watching, 20 years I've been watching, where did it go?
  10. My theory is that each set of regenerations has different rules, and the Doctor's first set was an all male set. This one, not so much.
  11. So we've got to be getting a women's Royal Rumble match in January don't we? There's enough talent now between the 3 rosters, plus some special surprise entrants. I just want to see Nia vs Tamina, or Nia and Tamina tagging up. Dual brand tag titles would be cool to see too.
  12. Samoa Joe vs Brock Lesnar Pleasedon'tletitbeasquash Pleasedon'tletitbeasquash I pray to the wrestling God Ricky Steamboat Pleasedon'tletitbeasquash.
  13. I thought Scorsese and Leo were making Devil in the White City next? After reading the book, that is what I want to see.

  15. Basic flow chart for Smackdown. Did Tamina superkick a fool? If Yes I enjoyed this show.
  16. I'd say if it is on IMDB or RT with the tag horror it counts, if it doesn't it doesn't. Would keep it consistent at least.
  17. My movies that didn't make it, ones in bold I'm particularly surprised about. I picked films based on how they affected my life since watching them, rather than their critical reception. Also: Birdman - I had not seen before sending my list, would most likely make the list easily now. And I want to watch it again already. and two omissions I forgot about: The Adventures of Tintin - Saw this at the cinema in 3D and it was one of the only films I thought benefitted from that experience. Can't wait for the next one. Big Tintin fan. What We Do In The Shadows - One of my favourite comedies, only came out in 2014, but must've watched it over a dozen times already. So mad at myself for forgetting. Thanks Rippa for organising and putting all the work in. And most importantly for your poster choices.
  18. That Raiders poster is the best of the whole thread so far. I always interpreted The Shining as Torrance being already abusive before he got to the Overlook. Wendy's story about him yanking Danny's shoulder, as well as him reading a playgirl in the Overlook lobby with an article on incest on the cover. Also the way Danny was laying with his hands over his crotch in the doctor scene and the weird bear/dog giving fellatio to a suited man scene is set up in exactly the same way as when Danny was washing his hands or playing in the sink. Then all the dead Indians sent him completely mad. All he needed was a push. Princess Bride at 17 is so surprising, need to re-watch that immediately, as I only had it as a HM.
  19. Didn't vote for Wall-E guessing you meant SKOS. Glad No Country placed higher than TWBB. The music in that film was like nails on a chalkboard for me. Surprised to see Lebowski so high up when Groundhog was so much lower. Two of my favourite comedies.
  20. Fury Road being above some classics also made me rage. If we did this again in 5 years it would not make the list. I thought it was pretty disposable if fun action movie. Surprised I wasn't the high vote for The Exorcist or LA Confidential.
  21. Great Escape was the movie that made me fall in love with cinema. I vividly remember it being on the TV when I was like 7 and being babysat by my Uncle. He must've been thanking his lucky stars he found something that would keep a 7 year old boy quiet and sat still for 2 hours 52 minutes. It's also where I fell in love with Steve McQueen especially, but really the whole cast. My mind was blown that Big X was the white haired dude from Jurassic Park. Also that's 5 of my top 20 gone, I feel confident that 10 out of the remaining 15 will make the list, pretty happy with that I guess.
  22. Was just about to post that. Looks great, female James Bond complete with womanising. So refreshing to see that stairway fight with barely any cuts and no shaky cam.
  23. Just rewatched Rumble in the Bronx (1995) for the first time in maybe a decade. I forgot how bat shit insane this movie is. I forgot how big budget it was, the stunts weren't just Jackie smashing fridge doors over people's heads repeatedly. There is a lorry full of play-balls (different from regular balls I guess) that is pushed off the top of a multi-storey. Let alone a fucking hovercraft chase that just goes on and on and on and is awesome. Jackie was in his peak and is certifiably insane with the stunts he was doing in this movie. Also, Francoise Yip is like ohmygod levels of hot. The bottle scene still actually gets me really sympathetic for Jackie, ready for his babyface come-back.
  24. Was curious about the directors in my list. Possible spoilers because it would be easy to work out some of the films.
  25. There's so many people in that crew, and they're all going to dieeeee.
