The worst player in Whalers history, Zarley Zallapski. I really wish Burkie had snapped and clubbed him with his goalie stick after one of his countless fuck ups on defense. I don't have the heart to say John Cullen because injuries destroyed him and it wasn't his fault that Ed Johnson was stupid enough to trade Ron Francis for him. Not to mention he saw me by the players enterance wearing his jersey before a game and ran to the back to get me one of his sticks.

Is it true that the Bombers are going to hire the people who built those premium seats at MTS Centre so they can obstruct seats at their stadium? This would add value to those seats because you wouldn't have to suffer watching the game.

Alan Hahn and Rick DiPietro should have a national show because they are incredible. DiPietro in particular really could be a huge star because he's so funny and likeable.

On the FS1 coverage down here they just did a feature with Don Cherry talking about what the Jays and baseball mean to Canada, and he did a Bautista bat flip. I have now seen everything. He also made a great point: if it wasn't for the Jays it wouldn't be a World Series.

I still remember being outside the last Jets game of the season in the mid 90's getting autographs and celebrating when one of the players told me the Bengals won to go 8-8. This was the Jeff Blake era IIRC. I think it would be our only non losing season from 1991-2004. Us winning the Super Bowl in the Niners home stadium would be the greatest irony in sports history (Joe Montana ruined my childhood).
