  1. If you like Stephen King's short stories you should check out Just After Sunset.
  2. My local comic shop was having a pretty good sale on the 4th of July weekend, unfortunately they didn't have anything I particularly needed/wanted at the time. I was going through a long box and found Honour Among Punks the Complete Baker Street Graphic Novel by Guy Davis & Gary Reed. It's kind of an Elseworlds sort of take on Sherlock Holmes as a female punk. Interesting & fun read for sure.
  3. The Rocky Horror Picture Show released on this date in 1975. Anyone else spend time participating in the Rocky Horror tradition, in the audience or on stage in front of the screen?
  4. Trying to set the event to record on my TiVo, but TWCNY still has the channel as Speed and the event not being broadcast on it or any other channel. Nor do they list the channel on their web site. Anyone else having similar difficulties?
  5. Fuck You Time Warner and CBS, get your fucking shit together, I'm missing Dexter!
  6. I bought all of these in t-shirt form except for Johnny Rotton/Firestorm, Billy Idol/Aquaman, & Disco/Batman http://www.redbubble.com/people/butcherbilly/collections/211063-post-punk-new-wave-super-friends
  7. I would love to see Ryan Gosling as the Flash/Barry Allen. As far as Batman, I think they would really better off going for a relative unknown.
  8. Titles under DC/Vertigo that I am currently reading: Batgirl Batman Batman & Robin Batman: The Dark Knight Batman Inc. Batman Superman Batwoman Catwoman Detective Comics Earth 2 The Flash Green Arrow Justice League Justice League of America Nightwing Red Hood & the Outlaws Superman Superman Unchained Talon Worlds' Finest American Vampire The Wake
  9. I really liked Beware the Batman & I am not digging Teen Titans Go at all. Totally fine with Green Lantern being gone, but I really miss Young Justice, that show was amazeballs. The Alfred in BtB was very much like the Alfred in Geoff Johns Batman: Earth One.
  10. Currently reading Deeply Odd by Dean Koontz. The Odd Thomas books are the only Koontz I read. I read the first book after a huge recommendation, but I have to say, I think Odd Thomas is one of my most favorite literary characters. He's just such a fantastic character.
  11. Anyone else reading True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys?
