Mutual parting of ways between Saban and him. This has been in the works since before the bowl game. Nuss was brought in specifically to develop AJ as a quarterback and the downfield passing attack, and to those ends, I'd say he was successful. However, it was often clear that he and Saban weren't on the same page philosophically, and it was just never going to last. There have been certain games over the past two years (vs. Georgia last year, vs. LSU this year, as examples )where the offense was so radically different after halftime, it was obvious Saban had wrung Nuss's neck and probably threatened to fire him on the spot if he didn't start running the ball. Now, with AJ on his way to the NFL and a new QB who's likely going to need a lot of babying next season, it just made sense to part ways now. As far as his ability to utilize incredible tightends effectively...well...I'd say he underutilized OJ Howard pretty much all year. 0 catches against Oklahoma in the bowl game. I found his playcalling near the end of the Iron Bowl pretty bad, personally. Especially on the next to last drive when Auburn was selling out to stop the run and they ran the same play twice, getting stuffed both times.

Hubcap can eat a bag of dicks, but that story is true..

Good news might not last too long, though. There's rumors being kicked around that Miami may hire Mike Tannebaum, hahahahaha.

Man, people sure are quick to drop the word "racist" for any little thing these days, aren't they? Should probably save that for when actual racist stuff pops up, ya know? Either way, Jameis better put a lot of work in over the next year if he plans to declare next year because I was getting Leftwich vibes from him for pretty much the entire game.

Nah, he's nothing like Gabbert, but I think he's gonna be pretty limited in the NFL. He has a decent arm, but there have been times this year where he's needed to fit the ball into tight windows and didn't have the velocity to do it. I'd liken him more to a more athletic Andy Dalton. Give him a superstar WR and a punishing defense, and he can get you to 10/11 wins yearly before bowing out in the first or second round of the playoffs.

Meh, I love Rhonda's crazy ass. Used to like Miesha too until she started coming off fake as hell before and during TUF. Rousey kicking her ass was joyous to watch especially with the drunk assholes at BWW getting mad because Tate got dominated. Also, while I was pulling for Weidman to win, it was pretty terrible to see Anderson lose like that. Especially considering there was one asshole who was running around cheering for 15 minutes like it was the best thing ever that the man broke his leg.

Funniest, Silliest Moments in Wrasslin'!

I can't find it on YT, but the promo Austin cuts on Vince, Bearer, and Kane after losing the WWF Title at KOTR 98 always used to have me in stitches. -
They booked her like shit during that entire feud.

JBL bringing up Paul Wall and Mystikal kinda blew my mind. That hoss match was fucking great, though Swaggs should've yelled out "BOOMER SOONER!" before trying to bum-rush Henry only to get killed. The main was FIRE even with the DQ finish. Divas match was nothing, but damn did that Bella eat that kick.

They could also try to pry Shula away from Carolina...

Man, Mack Brown's troll game is on-point. Watch Texas fuck up the next hire and the guy ends up being WORSE. Also, can we go ahead and give Jameis the Hypesman so the FSU fans can quit being all whiny and salty because he didn't get one award? It's getting kinda silly with how bitter they are now.

Looks legit to me. From what I'm hearing, it'll just be a story arc related to the incursions that NA is dealing with.

No kidding. Sutter can't possibly justify Genma getting through next season unscathed, can he?

Sooooooo... Hickman's bringing the original team of Avengers to the present. I think we need a company-wide ban on time travel stories for a couple of years. Sheesh.
-
There's no way we're beating any of those teams. Peyton Manning indoors against a Texans team he has owned for years, @ Indy where the Texans have never won, and rivalry game @ Tenn. There's just no way we win any of them. 2-14. The question is, who the hell is going to be the QB of the Jags going forward? It's not Henne, not Gabbert, and with QBs pulling out of the draft, and their draft position, who are they going to end up with? Manziell? Derek Carr? That's a problem. You guys should worry about the next guy in line possibly keeping Shaub and Keenum instead of what we do, lol.

Texan tears are so delicious. Especially after sweeping 'em for the season. Ben Tate getting salty on Twitter makes it even better. The team still needs talent, but what Shad, Caldwell, and Gus are building to is slowly starting to shine through. EDIT: Also, Jason LaCanfora being a whiny lil shit on Twitter just because the Jags were winning made me laugh. "Get back to me in 10 years"... Hahahahahahahaha!

Probably the first Bendis-written Uncanny issue that I really liked outside of the troll-tastic #3 where they make the Avengers look like chumps.

The Jags were decidedly mediocre for most of MJD's career before these last three years where an inept GM/HC combo ran the franchise into the ground.
