Yeah, I wouldn’t have minded catching it myself. I’m told it was quite a show, Though, honestly, if I’d been in the room, I would probably have felt obliged to defend myself. When I spoke to the partners the next day, I took the high road and just said I’d leave it to them to decide how we’d all work together or not going forward. It was the right tact. In the moment, I would have probably have just gotten pissy and escalated the situation. I’m a bit embarrassed by the whole thing, but I’ll live.

I’m watching NXT and I still don’t know if Roxanne Perez vacated her title. During the entrances, someone referenced Perez defending her title. Five min later, a pretaped segment with Pretty Deadly said a new champion would be crowned. I’m guessing Hall retains, but I dunno what the point of this angle is and am not really into it. Match is about to start.

I have friends who live in Cherokee County and think a lot of Robert Rechsteiner. About 10 years ago, he stepped up - for no real reason - to advocate for the family when their daughter was having an issue. i’ve never met Rechsteiner but what I’ve heard about him over the years makes me think the people who live around him in Cherokee County think he’s a good person You’re entitled to your opinion. I don’t really think you’re entitled to the morally superiority bs. Like I said, he stepped up for some friends, so I’m more offended by your post them I normally would be.

Vince’s mustache looks way less silly than I was expecting. Maybe it’s just a great photo, but I think he looks good with it. Definitely looks younger in that photo. edit: lol, I didn’t even notice he dyed his hair. I kinda hope he has a younger trophy girlfriend. Of course, at Vince’s age, 58 is a younger woman. I’m not a fan of people who cheat on their spouses but I also feel sorry for people who stay in loveless marriages for whatever reason.

Matter of opinion. I wouldn’t say that. I feel Jay had more potential in singles and, honestly, I didn’t think he was a “must see” act when he was ROH champion. Briscoes were a damn fun tag team, but i definitely think they would have had a lower ceiling as singles guys.

I’m probably in the minority but i don’t have a lot of interest in seeing Eddie or Mark Briscoe hold a singles title in. 2023. I was a big fan of Eddie in the 2000’s and dug his two-year CZW feud with Chris Hero, but that was 15 years ago. In 2023, AEW and ROH have a lot of guys under contract with bigger upsides than 40-year-old Eddie Kingston who could use the title more. King is probably already as over as he will ever be. That said, I won’t be surprised if Kingston chases Claudio and eventually wins the title. Not sure if that will be enough to get me to subscribe to Honor Club or not. I’ll reserve judgment until I see how it plays out, but I’m not inherently interested in that idea. Giving Mark a short run with the secondary title might not be a bad idea, but the only reason to push him as a singles guy is sympathy. Not sure if that will last or not, two months ago, no one would have been clamoring for a singles push for him. Again, I’d prefer to see a new face feud with Joe and get put over.

I’m generally not hypersensitive about wrestlers taking bumps, but I don’t enjoy ladder matches much anymore, I’m kind of surprised people aren’t injured more often in them. You can’t control every mishap when someone tips you off a 20 ft ladder and dumps you to the floor or someone tries to do a head drop spot on a platform built with a couple broken ladders. Curious about the Shibata win. Guessing he drops the Pure title back to someone in BCC. Could we get Danielson- Shibata in 2023? That would be unlikely. I don’t really dig BCC as a unit even though I like all four guys well enough, so seeing them all over two shows probably won’t win me over

We’d already tried that. This was the end of a long-simmering feud. Actually, the partners called me in earlier this week and gave me an opportunity to respond to her and I declined. I felt like everyone involved knew I’d made attempts to work things out with her or at least be professional about It. Our disagreements are/were purely personal and mostly ridiculous, imo. No one wins when you go whining to your superiors because someone doesn’t like you, I feel like I could have worked with her without a problem, if she’d wanted to go that route. I felt like most people in the building already knew that, Anyway, she was serious when she said “him or me”. The partners picked me, I guess. We’ll be former coworkers very soon,

Got CM Punk’d at work this week. A coworker decided to hijack a meeting (that I wasn’t at) to air her personal dislike for me and a few others. Things escalated from there until she finally took a “him or me” stance, We’ll miss her. Sorta.

Apparently gamers still aren’t excited about virtual reality. Bloomberg says PSVR 2 is going to sell about 270,000 units in its first two months of release (it went on sale Feb 2) and a price cut may be needed to avoid a disaster, I was planning to buy one, but I haven’t yet and now may not, I don’t particularly like VR and feel like it’s a superfluous addition to most games. I was mostly interested for Horizon: Call of the Mountain and Half-Life: Alyx. Alyx has yet to be officially announced, so now I’m wondering if it ever will be.

I can see that, but people around me are more into the tournament than usual because it’s been so unpredictable, so who knows.

I thought they’d load up night two since night one runs opposite the NCAA Final Four. Maybe the WM brand is big enough that they don’t lose fans to legit sports the way RAW and Smackdown do? Was hoping to catch this weekend’s show, but it’s looking less and less likely, I’m not sure I would stick with a 7-10 show anyway, even if if is spread over two nights. It’s probably been 10 years since I tried to watch a WM (what year did Brock beat the Undertaker).

Edge and Firefox work marginally better on my various laptops and tablets but not by much. If the site’s various problems ever get well and truly fixed, i should probably respond by posting a Fred Sanford heart attack gif. Of course, it probably wouldn’t embed properly…

Punk probably only watches EDGY art house films.

To add to the confusion, there’s a rumor that Majors had to call police earlier in the day on the girlfriend. Also, the people who spoke out calling him an abuser and other names have since deleted the relevant tweets. So, yeah, it’s kinda murky. i didn’t know the incident took place in a taxi. Doesn’t that imply there was a witness (the cab driver) in addition to security cam footage?

Kevin Durant will finally make his home debut for the Phoenix Suns tonight, unless y’know, someone steps on a crack and breaks his mother’s back, a piano falls on him, a black cat crosses his path, or something else equally unlikely.

I know Wes Anderson has a reputation as an auteur but making a movie that’s nothing but a black screen and the words “This video is private” is bold even for him.

I I’ll be surprised if it actually takes place.

My sister came over last night to show me the sex toy she found in our parent’s house (both parents are deceased and we’re cleaning out the house to sell). I’m generally kind of stoic and unflappable, so sis greatly enjoyed watching me squirm. I thought I was old enough to be comfortable with the idea that my parents had lots of sex -we’re a big family, after all - but my mother was a devout, no-nonsense Catholic, mostly conservative and buttoned-down. She was a great mom and we had happy childhoods, but if I had to sum her up in a word, “matronly” might do. She’s about the last person I expected to own a vibrator, I was really weirded-out when sis showed me the batteries still work. My parents were both in their eighties when they passed. Trying hard not to ponder the whys of that one, So, yeah, I already hate this week.

Would it make sense to load up night two? Night one airs opposite the NCAA tourney semifinals. Do they lose many people to the tourney? I was really into WM until I realized I’d have to choose between Night One and the Final Four.
