    Because of this I decided to Google Andre Vs. The Iron Sheik. These two once went 15+ minutes with face Andre dominating it, and the match ending in a fuck finish. Fast forward through most of it, but most of it was Sheik getting his ass kicked, and him stalling outside multiple times. It looked quite awful.

    I remember watching Heatwave scramble, and after Bam Bam went through the ramp I thought “Wait how is that possible...”.

    Remember Free-For-All, and how you used it to help visualize the scrambled WWF PPV that you couldn’t really see, but hear? Also... Remember when the big hype around Warrior returning at Mania 12 was to see how bad he aged?

    The ending I expect is the go to ending Cody loves to use. That being the small package flash pin. Cody’s almost like Flair, where most of his wins come off of roll ups, and not with his finisher. So Wardlow takes 95% of the match, and through cockiness, Wardlow gets pinned while trying to go for his finisher two times too many.

    Trust me from experience. You have to be a bit of a dick to be left alone, even if you want to be a nice guy.

    Savage was alright as the face color guy, but wouldn’t he have been better if slowly morphed into a heel color instead? I bet you if Lawler wasn’t hired, and with Heenan gone that would’ve happened. Just think about it. Savage’s strange vocabulary always expanded several pages as a heel. He could’ve potentially eclipsed Ventura as the all time great.

    Yeah, the whole psychology of a wrestling match before finishers became a thing was wearing the opponent out through a marathon of a match. I do think most guys are a little too dazzling today, but there are still shades of the past in modern wrestling.

    Putting the tag belts on Omega & Page turned out to be the right call. Both men lacked direction, so putting them on TV almost every week in tag matches have gotten people familiar with their movesets, and spots. Which was something the long singles matches weren’t necessarily doing for them.

    I really wished I watched the XFL games where Ventura got into a worked feud with a coach, and seen the worked games.

    You mean the one where has to jump three feet forward to land on his knees? I don’t think he should be trying that, but then I don’t think he should be doing Canadian Destroyer’s on his flat backside. Also Morton’s are better. He basically does the sunset flip over the ropes like he used to, but does a Destroyer instead. So he’s always doing the full rotation. Dustin always lands halfway on it. But Dustin > Morton in terms of match quality.

    If I was booking the cage match, I wouldn’t let Cody win, but I wouldn’t let Wardlow win without MJF getting involved somehow. Maybe the cage match never really starts, and it’s just an ambush by Cody, Wardlow, and B&B&B. Dustin, and his friends come to rescue him to tease an eventual Match Beyond. Probably not with all those wrestlers involved, but something close to it.
