    Explains why Joey Styles kicked his arrogant ass. He shouldn’t even go into the bullshit Hall of Fame for that. Put Styles in his place for fucks sakes. At least you can say Joey’s poorly aged commentary has had a lasting effect on the industry more than JBL’s corny mid-card bullshit. Plus he whooped that fucking Texas redheads ass.

    Lucha Bros. just aren’t booked on this show. I don’t think they’re hurt(Well at least not severely. They are wrestlers after all.). They’re usually doing AAA co-promoted bookings most days of the week. Santana & Ortiz are kind of shit of luck right now for this PPV. I thought they might’ve been setting up a tag with Jurassic Express this past week, but I guess they don’t want to devote so much time to another match. They might make it last minute, if the booking committee realize they have 20 minutes of space they can give one more match for tonight.

    Shit, I feel like an asshole. I’m a big mark for Mike Barton in Japan, and I forgot he was the Brawl 4 All winner. My mind went into parallel universe where Bradshaw won the whole thing, and I wondered why Vince didn’t do anything with him as a singles guy in 1999.

    Cagematch says it was a dark match prior to Shotgun Saturday Night. Realistically Dr. Death only had three on TV. One on RAW, one on Shotgun, and one on Heat. He had two Brawl 4 All’s, though. But otherwise they gave up on him quick after Bradshaw knocked his lights out. The stuff with JR’s table was the one match with Holly on RAW.

    So I’m checking out the Fire Pro PS4 page looking for recent edits, and I notice that a bunch of edits from Miguel are near the top. So I’m thinking “Cool, some edit updates”, but when I click on the pages I find they haven’t been updated. Not even fake updated to bump them up to the top page. They are all AEW edits of most of the card for tonights AEW PPV. ?

    What’s the general opinion of Wrestle-1? I remember not caring for it. Feeling it was the promotion Mutoh wanted his AJPW to be without that companies legacy. I sort of dug his All Japan honestly before he got sacked, but I did feel if it wasn’t for the name I would’ve abandoned it a long time ago.

    That’s really depressing that stuff like that has disappeared. Sure a lot of it doesn’t age well, but it’s fun to relive shit like “HBK Vs. Mark Henry” or “Chris Masters is better than Owen Hart”.

    Damn, if I wasn’t lazy I’d try to use Cagematch to pinpoint the date, and match it up with threads from the past here. Also that wasn’t that long ago. Time really flies. Edit: So I’m guessing it’s this match... Would make sense. Cody was just starting out on the main roster, so he’d be curious to know what critics thought of him. Now if anybody here have archives of this forum check the RAW thread from August 20, 2007, and see which posters gave negative opinions about this match. Then try to match it up to any of the official Tony Khan written pieces to see which ones match up with the way he types.

    The Wells Fargo Center posted part of the Elimination Chamber card on their website. Apparently The Revival aren’t being booked for the Elimination Chamber Tag Title Match.     Okay just re-watching the Butcher & Blade Vs. Best Friends match. BB&B had an entrance that might have been too good for them(And I like them). The timing of the zoom-in, and then the machine gun pyro was perfectly in sync with one another.

    In retrospect TNA was a great parody of a big wrestling promotion. It was almost like a precursor to Lucha Underground.
