  1. I doubt that they'll give second MSG main event to either White or Okada. I think that Naito/Ibushi murder train is more likely. Or if Moxley was available I could see them doing a rematch with Naito there.
  2. My guess would be that 2 of those dates were booked months ago for join RoH shows, but since that went south they had to make up bunch of stuff. I think thats why attendance wasn't very good for last three shows, they are running this place 7 times in February.
  3. It is in same building as always, around 4000 seats. So not much room to grow unless they jack up the prices. They released cards for Korakuen shows: https://www.njpw1972.com/schedule/ Most of the teased matches are here. Cabana/Yano/Taguchi vs LiJ for trios belts, Mega Coaches vs R3K for Jr. tags, Shingo vs Ishii for NEVER, Golden Ace vs GoD for hw tags. I'd guess that Mox/ZSJ is not happening at Anniversary show so might be that Anniversary show will be only Naito/Hiromu and bunch of tags leading to NJ Cup matches.
  4. So, if I get it right, assuming everything goes right with MSG show... this is going to be "western Wrestle Kingdom"? And likely second biggest NJPW show each year after Wrestle Kingdom? Really wonder how ticket sales will go against NXT/Summerslam.
  5. Main event was a big contrast between Okada and Naito. Okada/Taichi was basically as if Okada was still the champ and it was a title match, Naito/KENTA was something else. I'm probably going to enjoy these "no idea whats going to happen here" main events while they last.
  6. Nothing official yet, but looks like Naito/KENTA are doing good business:
  7. Maybe their numbers are dropping because their fanbase is literally dying off.
  8. I'm not sure if this is going to hurt WWE network. Sure, people here and in other places are writing good arguments for why these possible changes would suck and people should be disappointed, but... isn't that true for pretty much everything WWE related these days? If WWE fans didn't spend on garbage (or watch it) then WWE would have either gone out of business or drastically changed years ago. But what usually happens is that we see people bitching online and continuing to consume WWE's product.
  9. Thats very optimistic, wouldn't be surprised if it is close to 99%
  10. He was on video for Liger's retirement so they probably are on good terms.
  11. First major show is in, top 3 matches are really worth watching.
  12. I don't really like to defend WWE, but I think that people are bit wrong with these "reach for the brass ring" takes. At the end of the day Vince and other influential people have to like what you are doing. You will not get brass ring just because you tried to reach it.
  13. I remember some people talking months ago that Viceland isn't really suitable channel for pro-wrestling, or am I mistaken here?
  14. There is Puro 2020 thread for this stuff ? But seriously, can the new thread be sticked and this moved down?
  15. Marty showed up at NJPW's USA show and challenged White for a match at Supercard show.
  16. When NJPW buried the Elite Marty kinda got caught in that as well because everyone assumed that he was AEW bound. I guess if they wanted they could do a storyline with Marty being pissed that he was abandoned despite not leaving like the rest of the Elite. So, Villain Enterprises vs Bullet Club for Supercard show? Could do worse I guess.
  17. I have given up on searching anything there. Usually I look at what date match/show happened that I'm interested in and then in "series" window I just jump thru pages till I reach that date.
  18. They were doing a bit with Angel del Oro that got dropped some time ago so this might be CMLL changing plans due to nobody giving a shit about Felino/Angel Del Oro match. As for making sense of it, I think Cavernario could simply say that with Niebla dead their faction doesn't really matter anymore and he is going to burn it all down. Could even lead to a big match with Casas if they feel like it. Hey, at least we are getting angles on major shows now.
  19. I'd do VE vs Strictly Business at Supercard and Marty likely winning it at Crockett Cup 2020. But they might be doing another Aldis/Cody thing. Marty wins it at Supercard, Aldis gets a rematch at Crockett Cup and wins it back. As for RnR and Steiner, I think it would be good time to write them off during next set of tapings.
  20. Despite some problems with the card I found the show very enjoyable and thought that Mistico/GG was a great match. Also, next week we are getting rematch of that main event. I'm not sure where this is going? Is Cavernario going to destroy all his old pals now? Hey, more Cavernario is always good in my book.
  21. Yeah, if I was them I'd rethink this New Beginning USA thing since it looks like universe itself doesn't want it to be a thing.
  22. Maybe AEW would be willing to give him same contract as Moxley and Jericho, but then I'm not sure if he is big enough name for NJPW to sign him. I like him, but I doubt that he'd get much bigger role than what Cobb has.
  23. Really? I thought it was Joey or what is his name, the guy who got fired and leaked lots of RoH related stuff on Twitter.
