AJ was offered WWF developmental. He turned it down. I'm not saying his success is entirely down to TNA. Just that the platform they gave him got him adjusted to working a TV style.

Without TNA, you don't get 2018 AJ Styles as one of WWE's top guys. For that alone he deserves to be in.

Saw Black Panther. Need to compose thoughts. It doesn't feel like a superhero film at all, which is good. Tremendous villain. Some wonderful action. And really subtle performances cast wide. Coogler is a stunning, stunning director.

I don't see it. Dude has poor psychology, rushes spots, can't slow down for shit, and is handed chance after chance but doesn't rise to it. He's not awful, but he's not even top ten on SD Live. And would struggle to hit top fifty in WWE.

What? No. I love awkward promo fiery babyface Roddy. He's endearingly average on the mic. I can't help but root for the guy and his hilarious "if I challenge for every title eventually I have to win one" story arc.

Ya know it blows my mind that NXT has Cole, Strong and Gargano and it's likely none of them will ever be NXT champ. The roster is pretty damn stacked.

If you had this tournament be to face Enzo at Mania, and guys like Roddy and Hideo saying they were going to straight up kill Enzo at Mania... I mean Enzo wasn't the problem. They should've just let the other guys work matches their way. Alsi, without Enzo I think Vince would've cancelled 205 months ago.

205 should be a brand ala NXT. Quarterly events. Build to stuff. Like they can have a six man at Raw specials to pop the crowd, but focus on slow burn. Pretty sure that's where HHH is headed.

Finally saw Roddy vs Itami God damn. While I'm sure Finn would say no, it's pretty clear a lot of guys WWE has hired would work great in this kind of setting.

Ziggler should thank his stars that Sami is strong enough to carry him to that good a match. There's a case to be made for Sami as SD Champ, because he's upped his promo game big time and can make almost anyone look good by virtue of his selling.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'd be happy for Roman vs Taker 2 if it got me Braun vs Brock no holds barred for the tittle.

Jesus Christ at Gulak. I'm not kidding when I say that guy has almost everything to go to the top of the WWE. Can do comedy, can be serious, Heck of a promo, can get poorly conceived gimmicks over, and can work both story matches and match matches with relative ease. He's so good.

Braun has lost nearly every big match since last Feb. He's still over. Braun was paired with Alexa and they awkwardly flirt each week. He's still over. I think at this stage it's safe to say Braun is over regardless of losses and booking. Like, dude was linked out by Taker staring him down pre Mania but within a month was the most over guy they had.

Rollins was at his best as douchebag champ with J and J security. I really don't know why they book him as a face, when he's insanely good at playing it smug.

Should've been Harper vs Orton vs Wyatt at Mania. Harper gets belt. Harper goes full patriot vs Jinder over Summer.

It's bizarre that Owens and Cena both haven't had a truly great match since RR 17.

Could just go with Rollins vs Balor. I mean the "you injured me" storyline is enough. Then have Balor point out that he beat Rollins injured, doing it at full strength will be easy,

Ohno vs Sullivan too. Its to the point where Ohno vs whoever they're pushing is one of the best matches at Takeover. You know Ohno is gonna lose, but he's gonna make his opponent look like a killer in the process. And that takes serious skill. People buy into Ohno dressier a horrific win-loss record.

This will absolutely happen. No way are they not having that match. And it may actually help, because Gargano being called up means he doesn't have to win it.

I'd never seen either wrestle prior to their first NXT match. I literally ran the gauntlet from "UK guys? Cool" through to "mother of God." I'm sure I've seen better matches, but I've never had that feeling before where I saw (from my POV) two guys go from wrestlers to superstars in one match. By the time of the airplane spin I was marking out in my flat big time. Actual "what the fuck" after that strike exchange near fall.
